Chapter 7: escaping
Lucy's POV
"Lu-Chan..." Juvia faltered.
"I had the strangest dreams," we said in unison.
"You go first," I ushered in the little silence that was there. "Well Juvia and Lu-Chan had talked to Michelle and Stella. They had told us we were sisters and-" I cut her off.
"How we need to save them both!" I exclaimed.
"But that's not the only dream Juvia had. It seemed that Juvia had been unconscious for some time. It looked as though Juvia was married to Gray-Sama and had two kids." She finished.
"I had the exact same dream but I was married to Natsu and had a daughter. Something messed up is going on," I finished.
"Does Lu-Chan think that what Michelle and Stella said is true. That were sisters?" Juvia asked, confusion all over her face.
"It is possible, but I'm not sure. We'll have to find them first. But for now, let's focus on getting out of here." I answered with a reassuring smile.
"Wait! Juvia is water so that must mean Juvia can get out!" She whispered-yelled excitedly.
"But the chains are magic proof. There's no way out." I shut that idea down.
"Aw, but Lu-Chan, you can't strip Juvia of water because that is Juvia's existence." She then turned into a puddle of water and got out of the chains.
"Can you pick a lock?" I questioned, after getting out of my shock.
She nodded and took a bobby pin out of her hair. After she finally unlocked it, I stood up and made my way to the door.
"Alright, how do you suppose we get out of here?" I asked, seeing as the door was locked.
"Juvia thinks we should pretend we're still locked up and wait until someone comes," Juvia answered.
"Good idea, let's go." We walk back to where the chains are and pretended to be locked up.
A few hours later and someone finally comes to give us food.
"Here you go you little-" before he could say anymore we got up and I kicked him unconscious.
No ones POV (at the guild)
Everybody was doing as much research as they could on what or where Lucy and Juvia was.
All of a sudden the guild doors are locked open and there stood a bruised Lucy and Juvia.
Everybody stopped what they were doing, stared at them for a few seconds and came and hugged them as tight as possible.
They both laughed.
"Guys we're alright. We had to defeat all of them before getting back." Lucy calmly explained as everyone continued the hug.
They all finally dispersed and bombarded them with questions.
"What did they want?"
"Why you two?"
"Where did you go?"
"Why now?"
And so many other questions regarding the matter at hand.
But one question caught Juvia's eye. When she had finally given up on Gray, she hears this from him. "I missed you."
She froze. She couldn't move. He missed me? Was her exact thought. When I finally give up on you, you say this?!
She was getting angry. She knew that was for her but why? Why now?
"...via!"
"Juvia!"
"JUVIA!"
"Huh, oh, yes Lu-Chan?" Juvia asked, coming back to reality.
"You we're spacing out for ten minutes. I answered all their questions. You okay?" Lucy responded.
"Y-yeah. Juvia's okay. Just tired. Actually, Juvia's going to head home. Night," she then left into the darkness.
"Huh, that was weird." Lucy said to no one in particular.
"What was that about?" Gray asked, stepping in.
"I don't know..." the blonde replied.
-the next day-
Juvia got up, tired. She got little to no sleep thinking about what Gray said.
"Ugh!" She punched her pillow. "Why? Why now?!" She kept punching the pillow as tears threatened to come out.
Soon enough she let the tears fall and she laid her face on the pillow.
-at the guild a few hours later-
"Why isn't Juvia here?" Asked a very concerned Gray.
"I don't know. I'll go check on her," the blonde haired answered.
She made her way to Fairy Hills and knocked on Juvia's door.
"Yes," you could hear her distressed voice through the door.
"It's Lucy. Can I come in?" The celestial mage replied.
"Sure," the water mage hesitated to answer.
The blonde known as Lucy quickly opened the door to see a crying Juvia.
"What's wrong?" Lucy quickly ran to her side after closing the door.
"It-it's Gray-Sama! Juvia finally decided to give up on Gray-Sama, then out of nowhere he says 'I missed you' and Juvia doesn't know what Gray-Sama means!" Juvia answered back.
Lucy rubbed her back. "It's alright. Boys will be boys and there's nothing we can do about that. They are so dense."
They both giggled at her remark.
"Natsu?" Juvia questioned.
"Natsu." Lucy nodded. "Now go get dressed. We're having a girls day after going to be guild."
"Ugh. Fine." She got up took a quick shower and changed into a black tang top and a blue skirt that goes to her mid-thigh. She was also wearing her traditional brown knee-high boots that she always wears. She had her hair in a high ponytail with strands out to perfectly frame her face.
"Alright let's go," they walk out of her room, close her door and head to the guild.
They reach the guild and go inside.
"Hey Juvia," Mira smiled. "You okay?"
"Yeah, Juvia's fine. Juvia was just a little tired."
Mira nodded and went to get Cana another barrel of beer.
Gray walked up to Juvia and said "are you sure you're okay?"
"Yep. Juvia is fine." She walked straight past him and didn't give him a second glance.
"Is she really okay?" Gray asked Lucy, staring at Juvia as she walked away.
Lucy simled. "Couldn't be better." And walked to catch up with Juvia.
After talking and catching up with their friends they decided to have their girls day.
"Alright let's go shopping Juvia," Lucy said to the water Mage.
