Chapter 69
Aaron explained that his grandfather left him a weird message the day he died and mentioned an equation. We all looked at the piece of paper and had no Idea until Sam figured out that it was a call number primarily used in college libraries. We drove back to the library, and thanks to Dean, we broke in. "Im gonna wait here as a backup," I whispered to Sam and Dean, who were halfway up the first flight of stairs. "Don't worry, you and Dean, wait here im gonna grab the book." Sam turned around and sprinted up the stairs while Aaron, Dean, and I waited. After about ten minutes, I turned around after almost falling asleep when I heard fast footsteps coming from upstairs. "Help!" Sam called. I spun around and saw Sam running down the stairs with a red book under his arms.
"N-necromancer." he stuttered. Dean ran up the stairs while Aaron and I waited on the bottom of the stairs, all of a sudden something hit me in my upper arm, when I looked I saw a little dart sticking in my arm. "ah shit." I grumbled when whatever was on there got into the bloodstream. I didnt know what happened next but when I woke up i was on the backseat of my car while people moved around outside, when I leaned up I saw Sam and Dean shoveling a grave. "What the hell happened?" I asked as I stepped to the edge of the grave. "Hey, sleeping beauty has awoken." Dean smiled up to me. "Blow me, asshat." I narrowed my eyes as I stepped back, seeing Sam climb out. "Im glad you okay." Sam gave me an awkward hug. "My shoulder hurts." I groaned. "Yeah, it happens if you get poisoned." Sam smiled. "Weve got you and Aaron out, giganto wasnt a big help."
Dean climbed out of the grave while talking. Uh-huh." I looked at the Impala, where the Golem stood beside the car. Dean grabbed a canister while I took the salt back to the grave, and Sam brought everybody behind us; after we salted everybody, Dean lit a match and threw it into the grave. The next day, during our research, we got interrupted by another Thule who disarmed the Golem and beat up Sam and Dean. I couldn't do anything since that idiot knocked me out again. When I woke up I was in Aarons house the next day alone, just as I thought my brothers had left me here I heard voices in the living room. "Hey, how's your head?" Sam asked. "Great," I grumbled; they told me what happened. Aaron reinstalled the Golem before we drove home to the bunker. After I got my stuff in my room, I noticed that it was hideous and needed a touch so I went to a store and bought some things with the creditcard Charlie gave us.
When I returned, I found the boys sitting at the table. "What are you guys doing?" I asked, putting my bags down. "Were drinking, and you've been shopping?" Dean nodded to the bags I placed on a chair. "It's called decoration. You nitwit something you don't have." I narrowed my eyes before getting a glass from the shelve. After a glass of whiskey, I returned to my room and started decorating the place with pictures of Mom and Dad, Sam and Dean, and one of Ash, which I placed next to my bed. "Kaylee, I have food." I heard Dean call, so I left my room, closed the door on my way out, and walked to the library, where a burger plate awaited me. "You did this?" I asked Dean, and I nodded. "We have a kitchen now." Dean smiled brightly. While I sat down, I looked at the Burger before putting it together. "Holy shit, that's fricking good." I looked over to Dean, who smiled before eating his Burger. "How's the decoration going?" Dean asked.
"Great," I mumbled between two bites. After eating, I returned to my room and did a light workout to get my shoulder moving. "Kaylee, we have to go," Dean called for me. "Where?" I asked, looking up. "Kevin." that was all he said before leaving my room. "What's going on with Kevin?" I wondered, but Dean was already out. I scoffed and went over to my closet, getting some clothes out. Five minutes later, I was packed and went to the library, where Sam and Dean packed a few books. "Im ready to go." I waited for Sam and Dean. Sam drove my car while I was in the passenger seat with him. "Why are you letting Sam drive?" Dean asked. "Because your an asshole and would never let me drive, Baby." I pointed to the car while getting in and just closing the door. We drove to Garth's boat, which I wanted to avoid since I wouldn't say I liked boats. Sam, Dean, and I found Kevin sleep-deprived, stinky, and looked terrible. "I may have found a way to close the doors of hell forever," he told us. "What do we have to do?" Dean asked. "I don't have much, but you must do three trials. "Great, you have the first Trial?" I asked, and Kevin nodded. "Yeah, I have, but you won't like it," Kevin said; when I looked at him, he looked worried. "Spit it out, kiddo. What is it?" I asked. "You have to kill a hellhound and bathe in their blood," he explained. "Oh great, Dean, that's something for you since you are their favorite chew toy." I looked over to my brother. "Haha, really funny." Dean didn't look amused, but I didn't care. "Where are you gonna find one?" Kevin asked. "Well, find a poor soul who made a deal ten years ago and wait for the hell dog to come to get him or her." I shrugged my healthy shoulder. "Doesn't sound easy," Kevin mumbled. "It's not." Sam looked over to Dean and me.
