Chapter 57
I looked concerned. "Yeah, my arm hurts." Charlie pointed to her arm. "Well, get you to a doctor tomorrow. Here, I got some pain meds." I gave her some painkillers and got Charlie's arm in a provisional sling. "It doesn't look pretty, but it should hold until tomorrow." After we were both in bed. Charlie fell asleep very fast. I stayed awake until my eyes were so tired that I fell asleep after a doctor's visit, which resulted in a broken arm for Charlie and meds for my sleep apnea. I understood Sam and Dean were worried, but I was tired and needed rest. "When we get this thing figured out, just hold on a little longer." Dean's words echoed through my head; we drove to the Bus Terminal, where we brought Charlie to her Bus. "You'll be okay?" I asked, carrying her bag. "Yeah." Charlie nodded before turning to Dean. Charlie gave him a light smile. "I left your stupid flask in the backseat. Worst good lunch, Charm, ever," she told him as we stopped. I passed her the bag. "Thanks." I carefully hugged her, and as I stepped back. Dean took my place and hugged her, with Sam being the last one, although she just shook their hands, and not like me, going in for a hug. "Never contact me again," Charlie said, stepping back. "Be careful out there," Dean told her. "This ain't the first time I've disappeared. Do you think my name is Charlie Bradbury? Please. So, good luck saving the world," she told us, with a Vulcan salute, to which I replied, "Peace out Bitches." She passed her bag to the driver as she got into the Bus. "I'll meet you at the cars," I told my brothers. I knew they needed to talk, and with a swift turn, I walked back through the lobby and back out; I leaned against my car, waiting, when I felt a presence.
"Bobby?" I quietly asked. "Im here, kiddo." I heard Bobby's voice close to me. "This feels so weird," I mumbled. "Yeah, I know. Don't worry, they can't see me." Bobby said; When I heard the door open and looked up, I saw Dean walk out, so I got in my car when Dean and Sam did the same. We got to work figuring out this package at an abandoned house: something in red clay. While Sam punched the red clay, lightning struck outside, which was weird. Dean finally managed to get the clay off; it was a stone tablet with writings on it. We went to sleep and woke up the following day; since I was the first, I let the two others sleep, who both quietly snored on both sides of my bed. I quietly walked out of the house, went for a jog through the nearest town, and bought some Coffee for myself and the boys, plus some bread. "Morning." I smiled, walking into the house and seeing Sam and Dean standing at the table, hearing Sam say something about shopping. "No need. I got us some bread and Coffee." I passed my brothers the two mugs. "You're the best." Sam thanked me for the Coffee. "Don't get used to it, little brother." I smiled, sitting on my mattress with the bread and knife I used in an emergency. While I was sitting on my blanket, I listened to Sam and Dean talking when Sam's phone rang. "It's Meg," Sam said right away. I was on high alert since Meg wasn't my best friend. Meg has been helping Cas, who was in a loony bin, while she stayed with him in case something happened. "Put her on speaker." I nodded my head while getting off the mattress. "What?" Sam asked into his phone after answering the phone. "What's up, Bullwinkle? Just a FYI call. Your boys are awake." I heard Meg say. "What the hell did you call my brother?" I growled. "That sounds a lot like Fury is there as well." Meg snickered and said. "Cut it out, Kaylee," Dean whispered. "When?" Sam asked. Yesterday at around 8 pm." Meg replied. "And why didn't you call us earlier?" I grumbled. "I've been busy with Cas. He's just slightly different than when he dozed off, okay?" Meg snapped. "What do you mean by different?" Dean asked. "Hey, Seacrest, guess what? Not a nurse. Just playing one on TV. Want answers? Start driving." Meg stated and just hung up the phone. "Great. So, Indiana?" Sam asked. "Great, have fun, boys. I'm not going to deal with that bitch again." I grumbled. "Oh, come on, Kee, she is helping us for Cas," Sam argued. "She is a demon, Sammy, A demon, and you and I both know we can't trust them." I hissed at Sam. "I get it, Kee, but Cas trusts her." Sam calmly said. "Well, I don't trust her," I grumbled. "Just come with us. You don't have to talk to her." Dean gave me a light smile. "Fine." I scoffed, packed my bags, and drove behind the Impala to Indiana. At the loony bin, I walked around with Sam and Dean until Meg found us and brought us to Cas. As we entered the room, I stood at the door while Sam and Dean talked to Cas, which wasn't successful since he had no idea what that tablet was. During all this, Meg was sitting at the table reading a magazine. Cas was no help, and Cas disappeared when they got into a heated argument between Sam and Dean. Since Cas had the tablet in his hand, it fell to the ground, breaking into three pieces. Dean walked past me to search for Cas while Sam picked up the pieces, and Meg didn't do anything but walk out of the room while Sam followed her. I walked around and found Dean talking to Cas, but I kept quiet since it wasn't my business.
