ARJUN'S POV

"Naina who's with you?" Her mom's voice came and she looked at me shocked looking away now.

Okay, I don't know what's happening with me, but it's not what always happens!

Why just I can't understand.. She's my best friend! Why it feels so good to be this close to her!

This will be wrong!

"Naina? " Aunty's voice came again and she put her phone on her ear.

"Yes Maa" She answered

"Who's there" Aunty asked

Idiot! Her phone's voice is so loud that I can clearly Listen!

Moreover, she didn't shift even a bit back.  Her one hand was on my thigh and she didn't even realize what it was doing to me!!

"I..the head of our team was here. He was apologizing that weather check wasn't done and that caused all of us trouble" She lied and I looked at her amused with the smooth lie while she glared me.

"Okay. Just be safe Naina. And catch the first flight! " Her mom said

"Don't worry mom. I'm fine. Everyone here is so good. They're taking my care" She whispered this part looking at me.

"Okay bye" She added and then cut the call.

"Taking your care? " I asked and she smiled a bit nodding.

"Naina... " I mumbled and she hummed.

"Do you... By chance have any intention to remove your hand...from there" I asked pointing to my thigh and she looked confused but as she looked at her hand she instantly removed that muttering a sorry.

"I bought.. Some groceries. I'll make our lunch " I said and she sighed.

"You could've ordered from your hotels too right? " She asked

"Hotels are a bit far from here. Why to cause unnecessary trouble to someone in such heavy rains" I said and she smiled nodding.

"Fine! What for night then? " She asked and I threw the cushion on her face.

"Dumbass" I muttered and she laughed.

As the day was going on, I felt her fever coming back a little and which made me concerned.

She slept for some time but her body was aching and cherry on the cake I'm sure were the Cramps!!

As she was sleeping I made lunch & at somewhat 3:30 I went to the room with food.

"You look... Real bad" I muttered as  looked pale.

"I don't wanna eat" She mumbled

"Naina. I know this is not what you eat but, I don't have other options right now. All online delivery services have stopped too" I told

"No! I mean, this is good but I'm not hungry" She cleared

"Have one" I said as I bought one stuffed tortilla near her mouth.

"Naina" I warned with a look clearly stating , eat or I'll shove the tortilla inside your mouth.

And she ate!!

"Honestly it isn't bad. Its damn tasty But I ain't hungry. " She sighed

Yet, I fed her.. Like someone feeds a baby.

"You're such a baby" I said and she looked at me.

After I made her eat two tortillas, I wiped her face with a tissue.

"You're treating me like a one" She told and I looked at her as I was now munching on my last bites.

"I don't mind. " I shrugged and she looked at me.

I went with the plate to the kitchen and washed them since the house staff too wasn't able to come in such heavy rains.

NAINA'S POV

I was just sitting half lying on the bed when he came back probably after doing the dishes.

Can you imagine! Arjun freaking Singhania washing dishes!

I adjusted my self making space for him and he pulled the comforters on him too.

I was moving my legs a bit inside the comforters because they were kind of paining due to fever as well as periods.

"Naina, what happened? " He asked as he was scrolling his  phone.

"Where? " I asked back.

"You're continuously moving your legs" He pointed out.

"Oh, I'm.. Sorry. They're.. Am. Just paining a bit" I told and he looked at me for a second.

And the next instant, he pulled my right leg on his lap.

And I looked at the nails, which weren't even properly trimmed but his hand went to the same nail of toe.

"Arjun" I whispered and he looked at me.

"Your.. Toes are.. Small. And that tiniest one.. It's so tiny" He mumbled and something churned inside me.

I gulped hard as he started massaging my feet.

"Ar..jun." I whispered as I felt knots in my tummy.

But it was as if, he didn't care I was calling his name.

"Arjun" I loudly said

"When I ignored you twice then you should understand that you should let me do what I am. It'll relax your muscles" He told

"But... I.. Don't need it" I said

Lier!

You're loving it! You want to lay down and let him massage your feet.

But this is wrong!

And.. Me....Feeling this.. Is also wrong!

"Ar...jun. You shouldn't... Touch me like that" I mumbled and his hands stopped that second and he looked at me.

"Don't you like it? I'm giving you a free massage. " He asked

I love it damn it! But it's wrong!!

"Ye... I..Mean.. It's not required. My legs are fine" I told

"Calm your self a little short cake" He whispered and I don't know how but these words made me put my head on head board and let his fingers do the magic.

Meanwhile I took the medicines too and I don't know when did I even sleep.

And again.. I felt something warm and soft touching my forehead.

But this time... I opened my eyes a little.

"You... Kissed my forehead" I mumbled and there was a small smile on Arjun's lips.

"I'm glad you noticed that" He whispered and I hummed as I slept again.

When I woke up, I didn't find him and hence I called him.

"Where are you" I asked as he picked call.

"In drawing room, I'm in a meeting. You fine? " he asked

"Yeah. Go back to the meeting" I said and cut the call.

Something is definitely happening with me.

But for now I'll blame it all on period hormones!

Why Naina!

Because, it doesn't make me feel guilty for what I'm feeling for my best friend!

I got mom's call once more and even bhai's too. After talking to them, I looked at the time. It was 8 in the night and I didn't see Arjun at all.

"Arjun" I called

"Arjunnnn" I screamed this time.

"What Naina" His snapping voice came and I frowned.

"Nothing" I muttered

"Naina, say now! What! " He asked but I didn't reply anything.

"Nainaa" His voice came more clear now and I saw him coming into the room.

"Why the drama" He asked irritated

"Watch the way you're talking" I gritted

"That's the way I talk. If you don't like your problem" He argued

"My problem. Really! I just called you! That's it. Why are you getting so much hyper" I yelled

"Stop shouting Naina. I'm not your boy friend on whom you'll shout the way you want" He screamed back and this time I looked at him.

"Boy.. Friend. No. I thought it's about my best friend! " I whispered

"Nai..I didn't mean to sho... " He was saying when I spoke.

"You already did." I said

"Naina..."  He tried to say when I stopped him.

"No need. Just go. I won't disturb you now" I told and he sighed.

"Naina, sorry! Okay! I wasn't in a mood. I just...had a bad fight with Ananya" He said

"Why? " I asked

"She says, I don't trust her! And yes, I don't totally " He said

"Who the hell even says this to their fiancee " I snapped at him

"I don't trust her. And that's truth. I just stated it" He told and was about to say something when I received a call.

"Your fiancee" I said and he looked at me.

"I don't wanna talk to her. I'm going, making something for us. We'll have the dinner" He muttered and went away while I picked the call.

"Hey Ananya" I said

"Naina. Hey" She replied.. Formally.

"I'm sure till now you must know what has happened" She asked her voice almost angry.

"Am. Yeah. Why you both.. Fight over silly topics. That's okay" I said

"Silly? You don't say this because he trusts you the most. So you never get to listen this. " she told

"It's not like that Ananya. You know Arjun right! He's... He's confined" I tried to explain.

"Naina, he just cut the call on my face. And he's not ready to talk to me. I want to clear some things but he doesn't even want to. You're the one who can just make him a call and convince to talk to me" She said

"Am, why I'll call. He's in kitchen. I'll call him here" I told

"Wait! What! You're at his...place" She asked 

"Am, yeah" I mumbled cursing myself for not asking Arjun if he has told her this or not.

" Wow! And he didn't even find this necessary to tell his fiancee that a girl is at his home" She said

A girl! A mere girl! And that irked me!

"I'm sorry I thought he told." I mumbled

"That's fine whatever. Just tell him to talk to me! See ya bye. " She said and hung up.

What was that!

As Arjun came back I looked at him and was about to speak when he spoke.

"Naina. Don't start. I can't deal with her right now" He said and I looked at him.

"Arjun..." I was saying when he showed his palm stopping me from saying anything else and I frowned.

"Dinner" He said and I sighed nodding.

Today, dinner was almost a silent affair because his mood was already pissed and after which, I had my medicines and laid down on bed.

"Call me if you need something" He told  and I nodded.

He looked at me for a second while I waited for something.

Shit!

No! Don't get addicted to even that touch on your forehead.

Don't do this.

Please, don't Naina! Not from him!

"Good night Arjun" I whispered without even knowing why was I on the verge to cry.

"Good Night Naina" He replied and left from there.

I took a deep breath trying to control the tears that were ready to leave.

Why! Why you're doing all this Arjun!

Why showing me this much care!

Why... Making my heart beats follow a beautiful rhythm whenever you give that small smile to me!

Why!!

You're just my best friend right! Be that only!

Why.. You're being something... More !!

So, how was the chapter!

Arjun feeling something for Naina and it's vice versa.

Isn't the small moments of care and care hidden in anger too what makes us look up to someone!

Arjun's this side was something Naina was seeing for the very first time because other then it she has seen the mocking & chilled out best friend for herself.

But Delhi made her feel... A lot!

And same with Arjun!!
