NAINA'S POV

"I'm tired like hell" I said as I removed my slides and sat on couch.

"But the function was amazing. Like really so good." Aunty complimented

"Yes and all because of you. Thankyou" Daadi said

"You're making me feel outsider saying thankyou" I frowned and she chuckled.

"Don't make her sit on head daadi. And about the event, she's master in that work. You know once visit her office,you'll see strategies to attract people" Arjun mocked

"Donkey! That's my business to Attract people. Like you see, my Pune branch got 2 upcoming projects by today's event. I'm sure they must be your friends & relatives" I smirked

"See! Clever cat" He mocked again and I gave him a tight smile.

"How you all tolerate him" I asked Ruhaan

"We've no other option didi" He said and we both giggled.

"Naina! Sush" Mom gestured me to stop bullying and he smirked.

"They both fight like this only. On silly topics but then next moment they're back like what they're " Aunty said and we both looked at each other.

"Papa, when are we leaving tomorrow morning? " I asked

"8 am" He told and I nodded.

"What we ? You came with us Naina di, so you'll go with us." Ruhaan said

"Am, no! That's fine" I mumbled

"Yes Ruhaan. Moreover then you've to take all the way round from your home to our home just for dropping her" Mom said and I looked at her nodding.

"I'll go with them" I told and looked at one specific person who stood up from there and went upstairs without a word.

"It's already 12 am. We should also sleep now" Uncle said and bidding everyone night, I too came to my room.

I was about to go inside washroom when someone held me from behind and I flinched puching him.

"What the..Nainaa" He groaned in pain

"Shit! Shit!! Sorry! I'm so sorry. I didn't know you're here" I panicked .

"You're mad woman. Who else will be in your room" He snapped

"Sorry! Let me look" I said and I removed his hand from his cheek and looked to find a very minute cut on his cheek.

"I'm sorry. I guess my.. Ring just.. Sorry" I mumbled

"Kiss me" He abruptly spoke and I looked at him confused.

"But I just hu... " I was saying before which I was pulled into a kiss.

And my words died itself because I was melting.

Melting in that beautiful kiss.

As we pulled apart, I looked at him and kissed his cheek.

"I was saying something" I pouted

"And I didn't want to listen. Stop saying sorry so much. I don't like you saying sorry. " He said

"So what should I say. I'm very happy to give a pin pointed scratch" I mocked

"Shut up" He said and then... He picked me up when a shriek left my mouth.

"What are you doing" I asked

"I guess you can see" He said

"Yes but why you doing. I can walk" I told

"And you say you read romance! Shame on you" He mocked

"I'll give you a big scratch on face this time" I warned and he smirked making me lay down on bed.

"I've to pack my stuff Arjun! It's scattered here and there" I told when he looked at me eyeing me from the tiara in my hairs I guess to... My toes for some minutes.

And I felt shivers till my toes!

Not the bad ones.. The real ones as if I just want him to stare at me like that.

"You're gorgeous" He mumbled and I chuckled.

"You scanning me for that" I asked

"No" He replied and gave his hand to me for standing up and I stood up.

"So? " I asked

"I... Today when I saw you.... I just wanted to make you lay down, and just keep looking at you for some good minutes. Making my mind understand that, you're... Mine. I wanted to just let myself know that I've been lucky to hold you " He said and I blushed looking away.

"If you want I can lie down and let you stare me" He added and I laughed.

"What has gotten into you so suddenly" I asked

"Last two days, I felt you all mine. After today, we both will again be same. Meeting once in a week that too mainly any cafe. I won't be able to hold you in public, you know the reasons. I'll... I'll miss this. I want this... Everyday" He said and I looked at him.

Okay no jumping and leaping out you heart!!

We're not into any commitmental relation!

We're together because we both want to be together in present!

Don't let your heart leap out totally!!

Wait!! Haven't it already lept out!!

I look at Arjun who looked at the room and then looked back at me.

"You make a mess of room too" He said

"That's why I said! Just go and sleep. I need to clean the mess" I told

"Where's the suitcase? " He asked and I pointed to the wardrobe.

He went there and picked out the suitcase and opening it he kept it on bed.

"What you doing? " I asked

"Helping you" He replied

"But that's not important. I'll do it" I said

"But I want to help you. Why is it so difficult to understand" He told

"Am yeah but why you doing this" I asked

"Because I like doing small things with you. If I like kissing you, I like arranging bags with you " He said and my heart fluttered

Damn you my heart!!

"I need to change" I told and he looked at me and then nodded.

"Night suit? " He asked and I pointed to the wardrobe again and he went there handing me my shorts and oversized T shirt.

I went inside the bathroom and after 10 minutes came back changing and washing my face.

As I came out, I saw Arjun had decked up my clothes on bed neatly.

He kept my footwear back into shoe covers and took my accessories from dressing table to bed.

"In what you keep these" He asked and I handed him a small kit.

"Am, anymore clothes anywhere? " He asked

"Ah, yeah! I've bought them. They're with my bathrobe" I said and he nodded looking at me and suddenly kissed my cheek.

"What was that for" I asked

"I don't need reasons to kiss you" He said and I smiled.

I kept the clothes back in suitcase except what I had to wear for next morning.

Keeping everything inside I looked at the evening gown that I wore today.

"I'll fold that. You just keep your charger, power bank, air pods etc inside bag" He said and I nodded thanking him to remind me about those.

I looked at him and found him neatly doing the gown.

"Not bad Mr. Singhania. I didn't know you know these works too" I told

"I've had girlfriends when I was in college. So, I know little of the things" He said

I shouldn't feel jealous right!

But I'm!

"Stop getting fried" He added

"I'm not! " I replied but then a chuckle left my mouth as he packed the suit case and kept it aside.

"What? " He asked as I sprawled into bed.

"I just remembered how you choked the doll in game today with diaper" I giggled

"It was blindfold." He protested

"Even Ruhaan did that nicely " I mocked

"So what, does that make you feel that I'll be a bad father" He asked and I looked at him.

"No! Of course not! Who the hell even has to make kid wear diaper in blindfold" I said and he nodded.

"So, I'll be a good father.. I guessed the baby food though" He told and I smirked.

"For being a father you've to marry someone first. " I mocked

"Technology makes a man father without marriage too" He smirked

"In that way, even without technology & marriage both, man can be father" I mocked again but then realised what I said.

And he looked at me smirking.

"If people don't use protection, then I'm sure this too will happen" He smirked

"Yeah and you must have some 4-5 kids in Bulgaria or Viena right Bunny! " I mocked

"No no! In Philadelphia and Brazil too. I go to meet them every year Naina " He replied and I looked at him.

"Really! Never told aunty that she has so many grand kids. Wait, I'll go and tell" I said standing up on bed when he grabbed my hand pulling me such that I fell directly on him.

I looked at him as my hands rested on his chest where as he held me by my waist from the place where my T shirt just raised.

I gulped harder looking at him when he looked at me more intently.

"Will I be a good partner" He asked

"What! What has happened to you today" I asked

"Will I be a good partner Naina? " He asked again

"Yes... You'll be. Look at the way you treat your family first. Look at the way, you help everyone out. You even know cooking. You'll make the best partner" I truly said and he looked at me.

Damn! It pains to say that because I can't even say good partner to me!

"Will I be a good partner to you" He asked as if reading my mind.

And the tear I was holding inside fell right at his cheek.

"Sush! Don't cry. Tell me naa, will I ? " He asked

"Why are we discussing it. I don't want to discuss which is not even going to happen in near future" I said trying to pull myself but his hold was so tight that I couldn't even pull away a bit.

"Who said you so? " He asked

"You! You said" I said

"When did I say this" He asked

"Didn't you tell me Arjun that you don't know what's going to happen in future with both of us but all you know is at present you want me .  You can't give commitments but you'll give your all the honesty and loyalty" I kind of snapped

"Yes! I said this! But I didn't ever say that nothing is going to happen in between us in future! That you created in your head" He said

"But that meant the same. You.. You said you want to be with me without thinking what future holds. You wanna give it a shot" I blamed crying.

"Calm down. First of all calm down. Take deep breaths. Things are not that complicated Naina, the way you make them in your mind !" He said and I looked at him as he wiped my tears and made me sit properly.

He adjusted the pillows and pulled me in between himself.

"I never said, I don't want to see a future with you! I don't see my personal future at all. It's always been professional. But, I...want you there in the coming future. I wanna give the future a shot! Because, I seriously can't see myself with anyone else neither you with anyone else. Just us! You for me. Me for you. That's it." He professed and I looked at him not believing what he said.

"You... You mean.. You want to come into... Actual relationship with me." I asked

"Is it so hard to believe" He asked

I denied my head but then nodded as more tears left my eyes.

Yes! It's hard to believe that Arjun Singhania wants an actual relationship!

"It.. Needs.. Commitments." I told and he sighed.

"Naina. I want to be with you. If in your language I say, I'm ready to give you commitments. The commitments of seeing future with you. I...I might not go for future like... " He was saying while making a face when I chuckled

"Marriage" I said and he nodded.

"I don't know how to explain you this" He sighed

"Say anything. Words... Letters.. I'll put them together" I assured and he nodded.

"Yeah... I...don't know Naina. Marriages, love still aren't in my books. I..don't believe in forever. But, But I want you to know, I'm very serious about you. I mean.. I want to see dreams with you and complete them together. I want to complete your expectations. I don't know if I'm making sense" He mumbled

"You want us to take one more step near each other. Not going much further but one step. Till now it was no expectations, no demands. You want to change that" I said

"Yes. Exactly sweet heart! I want you to expect from me. I want you to demand from me. And I want to do the same. Like, openly telling each other about what we're expecting from each other and this relationship. I want to...see like future with you of tomorrow. Till now, we were living in today right! Now, I want us to live in today and plan tomorrow " He told and I hugged him.

"I can't believe you're saying this" I sighed

"Your way Naina. As you want" He said &
And my heart, may be was waiting for just one sign.

And soon as it got it's one sign, it finally lept down, rolling out from my chest towards him.

"I l.... Shit! " I muttered

Shit!!!!

God damn it it!!!

Shit! Shit! Shit!

I Love Him!!

I'm madly, truly and deeply in love with him!!
