ARJUN'S POV

I looked at the band which was now like a normal band. As the distance between us grew, it got dull and I sighed as I was actually like a kid who wanted it glow again.

Of course, the only reason was that meaning Naina close to me.

But keeping all the thoughts aside, I entered inside.

"Evening everyone" I wished as I saw almost everyone except dad, Nishant and Chachu.

"Arjun chachu" Nishi sang and I smiled looking at her.

"Where are men of the house" I asked

"I'm here bhaiya" Ruhaan said

"I'm talking about men" I smirked

"Bhaiyyaa" He whined while everyone chuckled.

"You all have had dinner? " I asked and they all looked at me a bit shocked.

"Why? " Chachi asked

"Tell me first" I  spoke

"Yes." Daadi told

"Oh! I thought we all would've dined out" I said and they all again looked at me shocked.

"Okay guys. Stop giving me looks. I just thought" I huffed and they all chuckled.

"You should've told earlier Aru. We won't have had dinner" Mom told and I nodded.

"But let's just go and have ice creams. How about it Nishi" I asked and she grinned

"No.  It's December and night. She'll catch cold" Aashi spoke

"Come on Aashi. She'll be cautious. She'll drink milk too after coming home. Right Nishi" I asked and she grinned nodding

"No one can win from you Arjun bhaiya" Aashi said and I shrugged.

"Great. Let's go" I said and in a while I drove to ice  cream parlour and meanwhile Ruh informed the men to reach there itself.

We all had ice creams and I looked at the faces of my family.

Name her Naina. She'll bring smiles on everyone's face.

And she was proving it.

"So, family treats on birthday. That's something new" Nishant asked as I was cleari

"Am, no. It's just, I was busy whole day & you all have been waiting for me at home so, I just.. " I was making an excuse when he spoke

"Its been years Arjun. You don't even stay at home until the clock pasts 12." He said and I sighed looking at the moon.

The full moon which was shining bright.

"We proposed. We're engaged Nishant" I whispered and he looked at me as his face took an upward curve.

"Get married Man. I wanna dance like crazy in your wedding. " He expressed

"Trust me, at this moment, I too want nothing more then that. She's my life. Her mere presence makes me do anything to everything which would make her happy. She changes me, in the ways which had made me a better person. I love her so much" I professed and he smiled chuckling.

"Arjun Singhania , you're a gone case now" He smirked and I looked at the ice cream.

"Get done with your ice cream dog. It's our biggest achievement taking shape in two weeks. And I just want it to get past so amazingly such that, I can run to her parents and ask for her, forever to me" I said and he laughed

"What you both laughing at" A voice came and I looked behind at Ruh narrowing his eyes at us.

"You both have been talking secretly. You excluded me from our trio" He whined

"We didn't talk anything secret" I said

"You did. You melted ice cream. That means you both talked something which I wasn't part of. How can you do this to your baby brother" He again whined while I and Nishant looked at each other and then at Ruhaan.

"Shut up Ruh" We both snapped at the same time when he frowned but then put his arms on our shoulders.

"So what secret you've been talking about. I know it's about Naina di" He grinned and I huffed stepping back.

"Just tell him and remind him to shut his mouth. Kid of 24 years" I mocked where as he ignored me and looked at Nishant.

We all came back home and texting her night, I too drifted into sleep.

Two weeks passed in jiffy. The work of the event was going on in super speed.

Thankfully, that bastard too didn't speak anything when we were working. Even though he tried to make conversations but my Girl dodged him off.

And I loved that side of her when she straight forwardly dismissed him.

These days I felt as if Naina had become more busy then me. She worked a lot. Hell lot. And I've been worried for her health.

"Sir, Mr. Arora is here" Mrs. Jain informed taking me out of my thoughts and I huffed.

I looked at Mrs. Jain who too was bit annoyed.

"Just two days more" I muttered to myself  and nodded at Mrs. Jain while she went out.

And in another some seconds that man was here.

"I hope work's going on good" He asked

One thing I've noticed is, this man loves to bluff. He wants everyone to work according to him and on his orders but, I'm Arjun Singhania. I don't take orders from anyone in this world.

But who'll hit their head on walls!

"Results will speak Mr. Arora" I replied and he nodded looking at his watch.

"I was here to discuss some key points on the behalf of Marrians. They want the event to highlight those points" He said

"Elaborate" I told and he nodded

"The chairman of Marrian will be here on the event day and he wants you to be present totally with him till event goes on. He wants to make you meet some of his close business associates personally. And he won't entertain any nuisance in that" He spoke and I nodded.

"There will be some special guests, list of which have been provided to Naina. See to her. " He added as his eyes met mine.

"Naina will look after it well then. She knows her work more better then anyone else of us here" I stated and he gritted his teeth but didn't say anything.

Keeping the personal grudges aside, we then discussed about the upcoming event.

As we were on the last page of our discussion, there was a knock on the door.

"In" I commanded

"Sir, Naina is here" Mrs. Jain told and I looked at Sahil who had a small smirk on his face but I ignored that bastard and nodded at Mrs. Jain.

In no time Naina entered inside and I stood up going towards her and kissing her forehead.

"How's work" I asked

"Good. I was actually here because I wanted you to guide me over something" She said and I nodded

"And um..since he's representative of another side, his too" She added and Sahil smirked yet nodded.

"Okay. So, I was thinking about a press conference before that day. You see, like something that would be showcased that day on screens. So that people get a good idea of Singhania's and Marrians collab" She suggested

"Press conference before, so to create a havoc and rush in event" Sahil mocked and I glared him.

"Don't give me that look Mr. Singhania. You too know, what a press conference before event means" He added

"There's no need to mock" I warned

"Is that not a good idea Arjun? I mean, see I know cons of this but I'm not saying of a public press conference. It'll be just an interview type with you both and one reporter. You see no disclosing of it before event. It'll save a lot of time in your bag on the eve" She suggested and I thought about it.

"This can take place." I told and she smiled

"Mr. Arora, is that one reporter thing also a problem" Naina asked and he clenched his teeth but denied.

"So, how you planning to do it" I asked

"Okay. So um, Arjun your interview in your office. We'll start with your best hotels in world and home land showcasing the development, designs and hospitality. And then we'll move to Marrians office. Showing same. We'll interview you here and The Chairman of Marrians at his office" She suggested

"And as if chairman of Marrians is sitting so workless that he'll invest his single second in it" That man mocked

"We can atleast once try otherwise we've the last option that's you" Naina sassily spoke and I hid my smirk while he looked at Naina.

"Be in your limits Naina" He warned

"Stop being personal first & be in yours then I'll surely be in mine" She retorted

That's the thing about Naina. She doesn't like anyone else including me to stand for her. She'll do it by her own and when the circumstances become nasty she looks back for support. Otherwise she's enough for taking a stand for herself.

And I love that!!

"I'll personally get to Marrians for that. A publicity stunt like this is great plus point for both companies. Rather then keeping the collaboration to ourselves and throwing a party. It'll reach to every ear. This is such a big advantage." I told and Naina smiled

"Yes it is. The more the people know the better the excitement inside them for seeing this collab taking it's final shape.it won't only attract tourism Arjun but it'll attract many other governments to invest in you. Like Serbia one" She suggested and I nodded.

"Im proud of you" I mumbled and she grinned as her eyes shined

"Okay then, the meeting ends here. Naina get to your work as soon as possible and get my one of the schedule clear by Mrs. Jain. She'll help you with it. Meanwhile I'll talk to the Chairman of Marrians. Mr. Arora, I hope you'll cooperate" I stated and he looked at me and then at his watch which buzzed.

He looked at Naina and then at me and spoke.

"Of course. I'll coordinate. It's my Job on the behalf of Marrians." He said and I and Naina looked at each other.

He got to it so easily? Because he doesn't ever agree to anything till he see that he can't argue more. In this 3 weeks I've understood it well. According to him, he's always correct. And this tendency of his makes him argue more.

"What's with you" Naina asked looking at him

"What's with me" He questioned back

"This. Agreeing so easily. There's something you're hiding. Because you don't agree to anything this easily" Naina said and he smirked looking at Naina and then at me.

"Looks like old habits doesn't go Naina. Still knowing me so well. And then you say we are related just with work" He smirked more and I glared him.

"In limits Sahil" I warned

"Haven't crossed them... Yet" He smirked more and I clenched my fists when a hand held it.

I looked at Naina who denied moving her head.

"Keep it to work only. Otherwise, I'll make it personal" I warned and he put his both hands in the pocket of his trousers and looked at me.

"It became personal way too back Arjun Singhania. Watch your back! Who knows what hits you to back" He said and I glared him.

"Cross your limits this time, and then watch your front. Because I won't think twice to kill you before you do something stupid that'll make you loose a lot" I warned and he chuckled

"Take care you both" He said tapping our shoulders and went out when Naina looked at me.

"What the hell was that" I snapped

"I don't know. But he's planning something Arjun or he has planned something. The way he confidently went out of this cabin said it all" Naina said and I sighed when she opened her arms and hugged me.

I took a deep breath hugging her back.

"I don't know what he's planning but just don't leave my side" She mumbled

"I won't. Ever" I replied and kissed her forehead.

"I'll talk to Marrians head" I added and she nodded as she took her leave.

I completed some of the works and talked to Marrian head who when got to know the idea was quite impressed and told that he was to land India day after. Hence he would be glad for the interview in Marrian's branch.

And in no time I informed this to Naina who was on cloud nine to see her idea getting approved.

"Great. So tomorrow it's going to be your interview first and then at Marrians" She sang as I was over call with her at night.

"Yes madame. Anything else" I asked

"Yes. I love you so much" She said

"That I know" I replied

"And? " She asked

"And.. I love you more" I replied and she giggled saying good night and cut the call.

I layed down on the bed with a sigh but something kept me taking back to what that man said.

I dodged off the feeling and slept because next day, I was going to do something which was a little new to me.

I've done magazine covers before and press conferences before but it was a personal interview which was going to be shot. Actually more like a small film.

But I was excited, because the director was my sweetheart.
