ARJUN'S POV

The alarm of my room rang with constant reminder to wake up.

I yawned as I again looked at the time and woke up. 

Wearing my slides, I went doing the morning routines and changed into my gym clothes.

As I went downstairs, I saw Chachu going  to the gym.

"I'm joining" I said

"Arjun,You woke up. I thought you'll skip gym today " He spoke

"Nope. Let's go" I told and he nodded as we drove to our gym.

"I was out. Forgot to ask,How are the new interiors of gym" Chachu asked 

"They're great " I replied and he smiled while I excused myself and did my gym.

After an two hours when I was done with gym, I drove to home back and as I entered ,I saw everyone at breakfast table.

"Good morning sir" My secretary Mrs. Jain greeted

"Morning Mrs. Jain . Schedule today?" I asked 

"Arjun" Mom scolded 

"A minute mom" I said 

"You're in a bad need of a slap Duggu"voice of my most favorite person in home came and I looked at the main door.

"Daadi (Grandma)" I mumbled and went their hugging her.

"How are you" I asked as I saw dad coming from behind.

"I'm good but send your secretary back. Or tell her to have breakfast but no business here" she stated and I sighed gesturing Mrs. Jain while she nodded taking leave.

"This boy. He just listens to you Maa" Mom said as she wished her touching feet of Daadi and I took grand ma to dining table where we all started with our breakfast.

"Where's Nishant &  Nishi" I asked Aashi, wife of Nishant.

Nishant was just a month younger then me but he married early since.. Well he met Aashi in a party and rest is history.

"Sleeping" she said 

"Last night I caught both of them eating ice creams" Chachi said and everyone there chuckled.

"They aren't going to come in front of me right now. Nishi knows she's going to get a bad scolding " Aashi told and I looked at her.

"Don't scold Nishi " I said

"Arjun, Did you meet Mr. Goenka?" dad asked and I looked at him.

"I had a small meeting with him " I replied and he nodded looking at mom who gestured him to speak.

They think, I don't get where's this going!

"So..they've..." he was saying when I spoke.

"He wants marriage to take place in six months. I know " I said and everyone looked at me.

"If you want to marry at last to her only then why delay" Chachi mumbled 

"I've said you all multiple times, let me do my breakfast with peace at least! I don't want this marriage and all discussion at this time ! " I snapped

"And mom you? We all know what this is about" I gritted and pushing away the plate of breakfast I stood up!

"Arjun but.." Chachu was saying before which I spoke.

"When's Ruhaan coming back" I asked 

Ruhaan was our youngest brother. Though genetically Nishant's real brother but we three were never cousins!

"After two days" Mom replied and I nodded 

After getting ready, I left for office and started working.

I'm proud of myself to built this empire single handedly.

And why I shouldn't be! I worked days and nights for this. I achieved what I wished and the hunger didn't satisfy yet!

I want to take it to the highest heights possible ! And I will !

That's my passion! That's my goal and nothing will ever come in between this !

I'll not let anything or anyone come in between this!

"Mrs. Jain what about the clients in Turkey?" I asked 

"They've been trying to contact you sir,but as you said, they've to come to the share holdings of 75:25 " She replied

"Good. Tell them not to waste my time before that. I'm not taking anything lesser then it." I told as I signed the cheques and handed her the same.

"And tell Chabra Arcades, our deal is off. I don't want someone who doesn't even give damn about being an hour late" I stated

"They're..Important clients sir" Mrs. Jain said and I glared her.

"I'll ..inform them." She added and I nodded.

"Sir, the HR & manager of case are here. Shall I send them in? " Mrs. Jain asked and I nodded.

In a minute they both were here.

"What are you being paid for" I asked very simply and they both looked at each other.

"I'll ask one more time. What are you being paid for" I asked clenching my fists.

"F.. For work" One of them replied

"Then why the fuck  laws we're not being followed in the hotel of east branch. I've got damn legal notice. Who was there at that time " I yelled

"Who was there in incharge" I roared

"I.. I.. " One of them mumbled and I looked at his badge.

"I didn't build hotel for your fun. When it was a teenage party then why was alcohol served. One girl is admitted. And it has all come on me " I screamed banging my fists on table and he flinched.

"Si.. Sir.. The..girl didn't die..she wa... " He was going to say but I glared him.

"You Know What Kartik, I Think You Should Resign" I deadpanned and he looked at me shocked.

"No sir. I promise, all this minute issue will be.. " He was speaking when I signed his termination letter.

"Ashamed that my hotel chain had a manager like you who thought it was minute issue. I wish it was your daughter at her place. Then we would've talked about this small issue! Get The Hell Out Of Here " I roared

"And you! You're HR. This matter would've come to you right. Why wasn't it solved! I got a god damn legal notice and I hate that " I screamed

"I.. I'm sorry sir. This won't be repeated ever. I assure you" He said

"That better be. Otherwise next termination letter will be yours for sure " I warned and he nodded looking down.

"Out now. " I snapped and he went out.

"Mrs. Jain, tell team to hire a new HR" I commanded And she nodded.

After that I got engrossed in my work again.

It was evening when I got a call from Nishant.

"Yes" I asked

"Where are you" He asked back

"Office of course" I replied typing on my mac book.

"It's saturday!" He said

"I know! I'll be there directly from office! Bring me something good from restaurant " I told

"Okay! " he replied and I cut the call.

"Sir...The Turkey clients are ready" Mrs. Jain told and I smirked.

"Details on my table tomorrow morning Mrs. Jain " I commanded and she nodded.

After a while, I wrapped up the work and directly reached Tennis court.

"We're playing doubles" Nishant said handing me the veg wrap and I munched on the food.

And the next three hours were something which I live without any worries every saturday!

And I don't like to loose...in Tennis too.

"Next saturday, I won't be here" Nishant told as we drove home.

"Why?" I asked

"Aashi wants to see a night show in drive in theatre" He told

"Ugh! That's why I don't believe in this love and all ! Where's the freedom man" I mocked when he smirked.

"We'll talk about this once you marry" He said 

"Not you too Nishant ! !" I replied gritting my teeth.

"Why! You know Ananya since months. You're like together since months. And You know Mr. Goenka, his dad too. So what's the problem " he asked

"Yes I know her and I know this marriage is going to happen one day but not when I don't want" I said

Well, Ananya is my....kind of fiance! But why everyone wants to just get me married !

"Everyone know that! Get that changed buddy" he replied 

"Again, not happening" I stated and sped up.

"Why even marrying her?" He asked 

"Not again Nishant. Ruh is enough for that " I muttered

Reaching home, we both went to our rooms.

Changing and laying down on bed, I checked my phone and sighed seeing the message .

"You talked to dad?" Ananya asked 

"Yes I did!" I replied and instantly I got a message back.

"So, You again denied for marriage. Third time! " she wrote

"Ananya! You too know why we're marrying. And more then that, I ain't ready for that now." I typed back.

"I like you Arjun! You know that." She wrote.

"I know that. And You're good. But, you & your dad can't force me for this thing! Remember we haven't signed the deal yet" I told

"And you too remember, the deal won't be signed till you marry" She replied and I sighed.

"Good night Ananya" I wished

"Good night baby" She texted back.

"Trust me Arjun, we're the kind of  permanent thing" Her another message came and I chuckled bitterly at the first word and the last word of the sentence!!

"Remember one thing Ananya....Nothing in this world is permanent !! Nothing " I replied putting the phone away and slept.
