ARJUN'S POV

"What you doing tomorrow Naina" That bastard spoke and I was on the verge to loose my patience.

First thing, the reason of her tears and heart break was standing right in front of me and I wasn't able to punch him. My hands irked to do that.

Secondly, he was the one to leave and now he behaved as if he wanted it all back.

Third and most important, she's mine and I hate the way he even looks at her. I can take out his eye balls and play snooker with it.

I was about to speak something when Naina spoke.

"I've plans with my boyfriend tomorrow" She said and I looked at her... Well shocked.

And more then me, that asshole was shocked but covered that shock very fast.

"You have a boyfriend" He asked chuckling as if it was a joke.

"Why? I can't have a decent one? " She mocked and I hid my smile.

"No I mean, You didn't seem to be doing boyfriends" He smirked a bit

"Boyfriend. It's a singular word. Not like girlfriends you see. Which is plural" I spoke this time and he looked at me.

"Excuse me" He said

"Not excused. This is my office Mr. Arora.  I've another meetings lined up. Now you're excused" I stated and he glared me.

"I hope you know that talking this way can cause you a lot" He said

"And I know that you still don't know that talking this way, is going to cost you a lot" I replied and he clenched his fists.

"We'll surely meet again" He said to Naina and then giving a formal handshake to me, left.

And Naina sighed sitting on the chair.

I looked at her bending to her height and kissed her forehead.

"Kiss me already. That man freake.. " She was saying before which I kissed her.

She has me wrapped around her and I don't mind it at all. Because only she, she has the right to do so.

And I felt her wrapping her arms around me.

"I Love You" She mumbled as I kissed her forehead again.

"So, plans with boyfriend tomorrow huh, without boyfriend knowing it" I teased and she giggled

"Of course I have. Without boyfriend knowing it" She replied and I smiled looking at her.

"Just.. Don't get ill this time " I mumbled caressing her cheek and she smiled kissing my cheek when her phone buzzed and she giggled.

"Happy Birthday Arjun" She wished and I smiled.

"Itna rukha sukha (such a dry wish) " I asked when she tiptoed her self wrapping her arms around my neck and kissed me.

And I would want to live infinite more birthdays like this with her.

"Thank you for even existing" She whispered kissing my forehead and I smiled.

"Thankyou for being here right now" I mumbled when my phone rang.

"Home" I said and she nodded while I picked up

"Happy Birthday. Come home soon" It was Nishi and I chuckled

"In half an hour sweetheart. Tell everyone to go to sleep. And you too" I said and she hummed cutting the call when I looked at Naina who jumped on my table and sat.

I sighed and gestured her to get down and she huffed when there was a knock on the door.

"In" I mumbled when I saw Naina's secretary and Mrs. Jain with a bouquet and.. Cake box.

"Ma'am, your orders. And sir a very happy birthday" They wished and I smiled.

They kept the things and turned to go when Naina stopped them.

"Where you going. We cutting the cake so wait" She said when Mrs. Jain smiled.

"It's your personal time. Enjoy that" She winked and Naina and she laughed.

"Wait here you two. We'll cut cake" She announced and I looked at the soul which made everyone smile.

"Stay Mrs. Jain and Jiya" I insisted and they both nodded.

Naina opened the cake box and putting the sparkle candle on it she handed me the knife.

"Make a wish" She said

"You" It slipped of my mouth without any thought and she looked at me but closed my eyes with her palms.

"Make a wish" She again said and I sighed.

I don't know if this is really true or not but yes, just her and my family. It's my wish.

I opened my eyes and cut the cake while she sang the song like a kid.

As I fed her the cake she denied.

"I want a bigger piece" She pouted and the women near us laughed

"Kid" I muttered and cutting a bigger piece fed that hungry woman.

After a while, we were in parking area when she looked at time.

"Okay it's real late. See ya. Bye" She said when I took her car keys.

"Ar.. What" She asked

"You're not going to drive home this late" I said

"It's Mumbai Arjun. It's never too late here" She replied

"No means no. It's half past twelve and I'm not letting you go alone. I've sent security with Mrs. Jain and Jiya too. " I told and she smiled

"That's sweet but our homes are literally opposite. You'll get very late" She reasoned

"So it's okay. I'll get some more minutes to spend with you" I cheekily spoke and she laughed

"But my car.. Well driver will send it home tomorrow" She questioned as well as answered herself.

I unlocked my car and opened the door for her.

As she settled herself, I closed the door and sat inside myself.

"Can't believe it's one year" She said

"I knew you before that too" I shrugged

"Yeah I mean, we knew each other as kids of friends of our parents" She replied and I hummed.

"So what your little head planning for tomorrow" I asked and she smirked

"It's for me to know for you to.. " She raised a brow

"Dot dot dot" I completed her idiotic sentence and she grinned.

As we reached her home, she looked at me and sighed.

"That's it I guess." She mumbled and was about to go when I held her hand.

"What? " She asked

"Marry me na. " I said and she laughed

"Shut up. Bye" She mumbled kissing my cheeks and I kissed her forehead.

"Take care" I whispered and she smiled.

"Don't pack your schedule tomorrow." She said and before I could speak, she closed the door and ran inside.

I took a deep breath looking at her disappearing figure and then left home.

And as I reached there, I saw everyone waiting.

"Happy Birthday" Everyone screamed excitedly.

"Thank you. You all didn't sleep" I asked

"Oh how can we. Come on. Cut the cake" Ruhaan said and I nodded as I went and cut the cake .

After taking blessings from elders, I went to my room and texted Mrs. Jain to not put any meetings for tomorrow.

And then I slept.

As I woke up next day, I got ready and saw mom in temple.

"Morning mom" I wished

"Good morning son. Happy birthday" She wished and I smiled touching her feet.

"Always be happy. Achieve heights and.. " She was saying when I spoke.

"Give me a daughter in law" I said and she looked at me.

"What" She asked

"Your dialogue from last four five years" I smirked and she chuckled

"Now I've given up" She said and I chuckled while she handed me aarti ki thali.

I prayed, and I really prayed with all my heart.

Breakfast at today's table was all my favorite.

As I was about to leave after breakfast for office Ruhaan stopped me.

"You want something? " I asked

"No. I've to give you something" He told handing me a.. letter.

"What's that? " I asked when he smirked but said nothing tapping my shoulder and went away.

I took out the paper from envelope and first sentence made me chuckle.

Hey shit head!

This has to be of course Naina because no one else would dare to send me this.

So it's your birthday and I've whole powers in me to make your schedule totally clear for today.

What the fuck!

I looked at my phone and dialled Mrs. Jain first.

"I'm so sorry sir. I was forced" She whined as she picked

"You should've informed me" I told calmly

"I'm sorry sir. I was told not to do so" She mumbled

"I guess I pay you Mrs. Jain" I said

"Jo tera hai vo mera hai (what's yours is mine) " A voice sang from back ground

"Short cake " I muttered

"I knew you were going to blast on Mrs. Jain so I had to be here just for giving her Z plus security" Naina spoke and I sighed

"I'm sorry sir" Mrs. Jain said

"It's okay Mrs. Jain. You too take a leave today" I added and cut the call.

Sighing I looked into the letter again.

So since one hurdle crossed, we come to main task.

Your chauffer for now, is waiting outside the main gates of your mansion. Please take a seat and come whereever you're taken to without a question.

She's such a bossy bitch!

"Ruhaan" I called when he looked at me.

"What's her plan" I asked

"I don't know" He shrugged

"You for sure know. You're not telling" I narrowed my eyes.

"So when you know, that I won't tell then why don't you go and enjoy your day" He winked and I sighed going but Ruhaan stopped me again.

"Bhaiya, you need to change I guess" He said and I looked at the tuxedo.

"I guess" I mumbled and went upstairs.

"Aru, you didn't go to office till now" Mom asked as she saw me.

"Am.. Yeah. Actually I need to attend a casual meeting so... Need to change" I told and she nodded while I left to my room.

Opening my closet I looked around just to find a paper bag.

It was written on it.

I picked it out to find a white T shirt, black pants and shirt.

Wear This one! You'll not look monkey!

Idiot! 

PjAnd I changed in the clothes and opened another closet to keep my watch & take out another when I found another small bag there.

When did this woman do so much!

Always mocking one!

It was a black watch and went great with the outfit.

But there was a perfume inside too and a note stick to it.

Least don't smell bad while hugging me!

I never smell! Such a dork she's!

But as I sprayed it, it was amazing!

After getting ready, I smiled as I put the ring inside my pocket.

Well yes! I know birthday is mine but I wanna surprise her by proposing her today.

It was already half an hour and as I went outside, I saw my Driver.

"You're driving me" I asked

"No sir. But there's a note for you. And happy birthday" He wished handing me a box and I saw a short cake inside it.

A literal chuckle came out of my mouth.

Don't laugh and it's not for you. It's for me. You've to pick my parcel and outside mansion a car's waiting as I told.

It read and I thanked driver and went outside.

There was a black car and as I opened the passanger side door, I was shocked.

"You" I asked

"On your service sir" She said and I chuckled

"So you're my chauffer for today" I asked

"I don't drive that bad" She whined when I chuckled again sitting inside.

She was wearing a woollen top which black bell bottoms and she looked really cute.

"Where's shortcake" She asked

"Just in front of me. Looking cute " I muttered and she raised her brow.

"The one which can be eaten" She said when I bent towards her and spoke.

"Short cake, I may tell you that I can eat you" I whispered in her ear and smirked looking at her to see her all red.

"Shut up pervert" She mumbled and I laughed

"Here's the short cake" I said handing her the box

"Open the box? " She told and I did the same to see a... Well there was an artificial short cake which looked hell lot real.

But it was exactly same as of that day when I called her short cake for the first time she was eating it.

"Don't ever dare eat it" She warned and I smirked.

"I would rather eat the real one" I smirked

"Ugh. I'll throw you out" She whined and I laughed

"So where we going" I asked

"Just wait and watch" She replied and I hummed.

After a while, she stopped the car on bridge and opened the glove box picking out two cards.

"Pick one" She said

"No. We not playing that" I told

"Sush. Pick one" She said and I sighed pikcing one.

"Temple" I read

"Temple we go" She grinned

"What was another" I asked and she showed me other card.

Temple!

"Sorry but a little cheating for God. To thank him" She sheepishly grinned and I smiled.

We drove to the temple and joined our hands in front of God taking blessings.

"It's a temple of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Anything specific" I asked

"Shiv prem hai, Or sati us prem ki parakashta (Shiva is love and Sati is the perfection of that love) " She replied looking in front of the idols and I looked at her.

I was speechless.

And hence I didn't speak till we were back in the car. She looked at me and raised her brow.

"Just thinking, how did I get this much lucky" I said and she chuckled holding two cards again.

I picked one.

"Movie date" I read and she sped up the car to the drive in theatre.

"Same place" I told and she smiled.

We took two tickets and parked our car inside.

"Come on back seat. You'll be comfortable" She winked

"You remember exact words" I said

"Each and every word" She whispered and we went on the back seat.

She where as came with popcorn tubs and ice creams.

The picture started and for the whole time Naina kept her head on my shoulder muttering something or other about the movie while I listened to it.

I love listening her.

For a while she even played with popcorns trying to shot them inside my mouth.

"I'm too bad at shots" She whined after a while

"You're bored by movie" I said and she pouted yet nodded licking the ice cream spoon.

"Don't do that" I warned

"Why" She asked

"Just don't" I stated

"I will" She said and licked the spoon again when I grabbed her neck and kissed her.

She was too shocked but then giggled wrapping her arms around and kissed me back.

"You look seductive while doing so" I muttered while she blushed.

"You wanna eat" She asked gesturing the ice cream tub.

"I ate right now" I said

"Sush. Stop being so much cheesy" She whined

"You like being cheesy" I protested

"Yes but you're.. Ugh" She whined again and I chuckled.

I took Naina's hand in mine and watched the movie.

Which was real boring yet I loved it.

As we came out from there, Naina looked at me.

"Pick one" She grinned and I picked it again.

"Dhaba" I told and she laughed

"Let it be my hotels come on." I added

"That was your fate. Its dhaba. And come on. Food in dhaba's is delectable" She said

"Yes but does it look good that I the owner of one of the biggest hotel chains eating in dhabas" I asked

"Better luck next time" She sang and drove to well... Dhaba but it wasn't a roadside one.

It was a very beautiful aesthetic dhaba.

"See. Dhaba" Naina smirked and I chuckled nodding.

We went inside and Naina ordered proper authentic Indian food.

"Diet breaking" I said

"Oh Shut up. Your diet broke in morning. You've had popcorns and coke" She smirked

"Dumbass" I muttered when she stuffed some food in my mouth.

"It's delicious actually" I said and she smirked

"Now eat. I'm really hungry" She mumbled and started eating

"You're always hungry" I commented just to get a water bottle hit on my shoulder.

After eating that finger licking food we were back in the car and I looked at the time.

"4 pm it is. Now what? " I asked when she smiled

"Okay come on pick one" She beamed and I picked one.

"Old Age home" I mumbled and she smiled

"What was in another" I asked when she showed me the chit.

Orphanage it was.

"This time, let me take you somewhere" I said and she looked at me for second but nodded.
