leisure.

Distracted.

Again, he was distracted.

The echoing chatter of everyone on the pitch was a blur to him. Kazemaru always found himself losing his grip on reality sometimes. He'd stare straight ahead, forget where he was and why he was there, and nothing would feel real for a good five minutes. He'd dig his nails into his palms as a desperate attempt to ground himself. Closing his eyes and blocking out all the noise until he felt alive again.

"Yo." A sudden voice caught the tealette off guard. Kazemaru gripped his clipboard and looked over at the male beside him, taking a drink of water and wiping the sweat from his brow. "Lost your nerve?" Fudou leered.

"No. Don't waste your time." Kazemaru shot back, barely glaring at Fudou who only raised his eyebrow and nodded to himself.

". . . She doesn't belong here." Fudou mocked dramatically, a sigh slipping past his thin lips. "That's what you're thinking. It's written all over your god damn face."

Well. For a while, maybe that was what ran through his mind all day. Not so much anymore, though.

"You don't get it do you?" Kazemaru shot a glare to the other male, his gaze piercing deeper than a knife. "That's exactly why Kageyama wanted her on the team. She's nowhere as strong as you, Sakuma or Genda, but she's fast and nimble." Kazemaru already seemed to be talking to himself at this point, forgetting anyone else was in the room.

Forgetting that she didn't look at him the same way anymore.

"She has no problems putting all of her trust into anyone on the field. The way she can run across the pitch and make a flawless back pass without even looking over her shoulder. . ." A sigh slipped past his pale lips.

As if on perfect cue, the white haired female kicked the ball behind herself to be perfectly received by Jimon. He then passed to Sakuma who shot the ball towards the goal. Genda had punched it back towards the field, but Park had immediately kicked the ball back towards her captain. Without batting a lash, Sakuma shot it into the goal.

There was some sort of dreamy look on his features, to be honest, Fudou was a little disgusted. He grimaced.

"You have a lot of time don't you. To watch Park." Fudou almost scoffed, placing his water bottle down. Kazemaru blinked his eyes a few times before frowning. It was his fault for rambling on like that. Maybe he'd have gotten a better response from Genda or Sakuma, but definitely not Fudou.

"Not even I have the leisure." Kazemaru muttered under his breath. "To watch her."
