expect the worst.
[ a/n; i typed this on my phone so it's a damn mess lol ]
It'd been about two weeks since her fist came in contact with his jaw. It took only two weeks for things to become so terribly wrong.
So terribly unbearable.
Nosaka's stunts wouldn't be stopped at this rate. Not when everyone would easily bow down to him, not when he still reigned as the emperor.
Despite how much she'd tried to get her point out to him, he wouldn't understand. The pure insults he shot bad towards her; "this is such a redundant thing to argue about."
No one heard them.
Not a damn person cared.
"My comrades are not redundant." After she knocked him square in the jaw, her voice writhed with anger. Dipped in the most vicious venom.
Never in his life, had he been confronted that way. As far as everyone else was concerned, no one would dare lay a finger on him. Even Haizaki didn't go that far, nevertheless, those two are actually friends now.
A lot of members looked at her differently. The glare that Anna gave her constantly. . . Some wouldn't say good morning like they did before, and so, Park refused to go into the canteen unless it was empty. If she did, a fight would almost break out every time.
Someone had something to say to her, and while she wouldn't respond, Fudou wasn't going to take any of it. Neither would Yeo, or Yushin. And despite how badly Kazemaru wanted to stand up and tear someone's throat out for her, he stopped every fight, and took her outside.
Kazemaru, Endou and Fudou tried to convince her, but she wouldn't do it anymore. She'd skip breakfast, and sit by herself on the staircase outside.
Teikoku shows no weakness. She wouldn't dare cry.
They all thought she was as shallow as could be, as wicked as Orion. For punching their dear emperor. Their dear emperor that couldn't care less.
If it weren't for her, Nosaka would be forever lost in the abyss.
"You are not responsible for the version of you that others created in their minds."
Her wakeup call brought him back to life, and even still.
Even still. . .
"It doesn't matter how many times I apologize. It doesn't matter what I do, I'll be blamed for everything."
"Not everything is about you."
Every time she was shunned, every time she was insulted, she never responded. She refused to give into her anger, and simply took the beating. Park was infamous for bottling everything up, and soon, breaking apart piece by piece.
"Mio, it's getting cold, come on let's go back inside." Kazemaru exhaled, rubbing the female's shoulder.
". . . No. I want to stay out longer." Park mumbled in response, staring into the void of nothing.
"It's already past curfew."
"Who cares. Let them kick me off the team."
"Don't say that. . . Tell me what's going on." Furrowing his brows, Kazemaru brushed some hair from her forehead. "I can't read your mind."
"I hate this all so much." Park short back, hesitantly. "Everyone's losing their god damn mind because I punched a teenage boy, as if he didn't treat the entire team like tools." Now that shes started, she wont stop.
"I punched him, so what? I apologized, as if hes a fucking child. No one said jack shit when Haizaki and Hiroto were going to gang up on Ichihoshi for god knows what reason. This team is so ignorant I'm losing my mind here." Frustrated, Park rested her head on his shoulder.
"And the second I mention how I feel about this situation, 'it's not all about me'. As if I didn't spend two hours a day at five in the morning, letting Nosaka talk about all his worries. I'm not doing it all to be praised, but yet I'm still considered a shallow bitch."
"You're neither of those things."
Randomly, and so suddenly, Park burst into tears. Kazemaru expected this, he'd seen it happen before after all. He simply wrapped an arm around her, letting her wail onto his chest.
"I can't take it anymore." Clinging for dear life, Park just went on, sobbing her heart out. "Ichirouta, I just want to go home. I don't care about this tournament, I just want you to take me home. . . !"
"I'm sorry, Mio. . ."
"I wish I was dead."
There wasnt much he could do at all. He'd just hold her, and sweet talk her, until she'd calm down. It'd taken her fifteen minutes to cry all her tears out, bawling, as if she was dying. It certainly felt like she was.
Afterwards, Kazemaru would take her back to her dorm, get her a glass of water, and make sure she swallowed down her medication.
Stroking her hair, he'd bid her goodnight, and have to leave.
Seeing her this way was breaking him apart, too.
He was always scared that she'd swallow that whole bottle and never wake up.
