coffee mugs.
A cute couple's DIY that Kazemaru saw online, would consist of his Friday date with his girlfriend. After school, they'd walked together to Park's house and she rummaged through her things for the supplies as he waited with Cho.
Kazemaru wasn't as crafty as Park was, and he didn't doodle in all his notebooks like she did either. Though, seeing this project online had him immediately thinking about her. So he bought two, plain coffee mugs for the craft. Well, neither of them drank coffee, but it could be used for hot cocoa or tea - and Park definitely drank those. Even still, there shouldn't be a problem with filling the mug with Pepsi.
"We're just decorating them. It's not that special, but I thought you'd be interested." The teal haired male chirped, flashing the female beside him a quick smile. Park brought down all her art supplies and tossed them on the coffee table as they sat on the carpet, but they'd only really be needing the sharpies.
"Of course I'm interested. We're doing it together." Park responded with a chocolate-box grin on her face. She always managed to make his chest tighten, and his heart beat palpitate faster. He'd never get used to this feeling of butterflies in his stomach.
With that, they both grabbed a marker and attempted to start on the mug. . . Though, this wasn't going very well. They didn't know what to draw, or write. That's when Park had perked up, with a much better idea.
"Why don't I make one for you, and you'll make one for me? That makes them more special, right?" The white haired girl muttered before lifting her eyes to Kazemaru. A smile quickly turned up on his face and he nodded.
"That's a good idea, I like that." He turned back to the mug set on the coffee table. "We could write something, like a little message."
"Yay! This is more fun!" Park's expression had brightened up immediately, and she reached over to grab another marker. Immediately, the girl went ahead, drawing on the mug. Inspired by this sweetheart's sudden enthusiasm, Kazemaru got to work as well.
After a few minutes, they'd both finished.
"I want to see yours first!" Park quickly moved her finished mug away from the tealette. She set it on the ground, and Cho sniffed inside.
"Okay, okay." Kazemaru chuckled. "It's probably not as good as yours. . ." After all, he wasn't an artist like she was.
Park's eyes practically glittered, holding the mug in her hands. Rather than doing anything obvious, like the Pepsi logo - Kazemaru drew a cherry blossom branch, and a plethora of little pink flowers. With a black Sharpie, he'd wrote a small message.
You are my flower
"It's perfect. I love it." She'd almost burst out crying tears of joy, as she ran a finger along the ceramic mug. "Here's yours." Setting this mug down, she handed over Kazemaru's.
She'd clearly put a lot more effort into it, and a lot more detail. It was the Inazuma tower in black as a silhouette, and she sky was a sunset in more pink than orange.
Though, reading her message, his hand tightened around the handle. . .
You are my strength
"Mio. . ." Furrowing his brows, he lifted his amber gaze to the girl. She tucked some hair behind her ear and smiled.
"I don't want you to ever forget it, Ichirouta."
And so, Kazemaru refused to let go of her for almost an hour.
