Hawks smirked at how she clung to him, hands gripping his shoulders a little bit too tight from her fear of falling.

"Hmm~ I wonder what happens if I let you go..."

"NO!"

They were high up in the air and the buildings looked very small and the clouds were close enough to touch. Being the playful guy he was, his hands let go of her and raises it up in the air. Y/N panicked, wrapping all her limbs around him.

"STOP THIS FUCKERY!"

"Oh no~ Your life now depends on yourself!"

"I SWEAR! KEIGO! IF I DIE I WILL HAUNT YOU!"

"I don't mind being haunted by a cute girl like y-"

Her muscles lost their strength from holding too long, releasing slightly and making her lose grip on his body. It was as if everything was in slow motion. Her hands slipped from his shoulders, legs feeling the pain from holding onto his waist, upper body falling backward, and Hawk's shocked expression. Thanks to his fast reactions, his arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her close to him.

"Whoop~ Don't want you to go dying just yet."

Her eyes were watery and her lips were quivering because her life had just flashed before her eyes. He felt slightly guilty, using both hands to securely hold her before flying to a high rooftop. Gently placing her down on the roof, letting her calm down slightly.

"I'm sorry. I was a bit too excited."

"You better b-be! I nearly died!"

He chuckled, sitting next to her as she scrunched her nose in frustration. Hawks rested his head on her shoulder, brushing his messy unkempt blond hair into her neck.

"Don't worry. I won't ever let you die as long as I'm around."

She blushed at how close they were, his faint cologne teasing her senses. His wings drooped, one of them wrapping around her as she shivered in the cold night.

"T-Thanks."

"I wanted to show this to you."

He pointed at the cityscape, a sudden flashing purple light from a central building before the other buildings surrounding it changed in color. It was like a chain reaction, the most beautiful scene that captured her eyes.

"Wow... This is really beautiful, Kei-"

Y/N turned her head to face him and accidentally touched his nose with her lips, making the hero flinch backward with a blush. Her heart was pounding against her chest, her mind turning numb from being with Hawks alone.

HER LIPS ARE SO SOFT!

"S-Sorry... I didn't mean to, erm, kiss your nose."

He swatted his hand and gave her a smile, brushing his hair with his gloved hand. Hawks cheekily pointed to his lips and leaned a bit closer to her,

"I wouldn't mind it on here~"

It was like all reasoning snapped in her head, her features stuck in a shocked expression as if she was trying to comprehend everything. Hawks sweatdropped at her malfunction since she froze for a good 10 seconds, the silence to make a confident hero like him be awkward.

"I, uh... I'm joking, joking! Haha! Only do that if you, erm... If you have actual romantic feelings for me."

He rubbed his hair and playing with his glasses, not knowing what else to say because she really stopped working. What he did not know was that her mind was running a check on her own feelings on whether it was romantic or admiration. The way her heart started beating so fast could have been plain admiration. The way she would imagine a future with him could have just been a normal fan's fantasy. The way she would want to spend more time with him could also be a result of being a fan... but was it really just the admiration for an idol? 

"Mphm?!"

Her hand had grabbed his collar, all the confidence flooded into her. His body stumbled forwards, eyes wide open as his hot breath tickled her nose. She had craned her neck towards him, smelling his scent that invaded her mind. Then, last but not least, her soft lips crashed onto his slightly chapped ones, molding together in a sweet kiss.

She liked him romantically.

Y/N closed her eyes, not wanting to stare at his big ones it such close proximity, feeling how his lips felt so perfect on hers. His body was stiff but he slowly relaxed, finally realizing what was happening. Hawks' body felt hot, ears burning as he knew very much that...

She loved him romantically.

He too closed his eyes, pushing himself closer to deepen the kiss. A hitch in her breath was caused by the unexpected placement of his hand on her waist. She was no longer in charge of the kiss and he took over by moving his lips.

"Mhmm~"

Her fingers clenched his jacket tightly as he smiled in the kiss. Hawks pulled back to observe her flushed face, a silver string of saliva connecting their wet lips that were illuminated by the soft moon the hung above. A gentle smile plastered on his face and he could admit that his facial muscles would probably become sore from smiling too much.

"S-So, you like me romantically?"

"Hnn."

She looked away, embarrassed from her sudden action that changed their relationship. Her head nodded and her cheeks were cupped by his hands. Even though his glove, she could feel the heat he was radiating. Hawks brought her face close to his, foreheads touching as he whispers.

"I'm so happy and I can't express how I feel... I truly, truly do love you, Y/N..."

"M-Me too... I-I love you too."

His heart pumped faster, a brighter smile formed on his lips that could challenge the sun on a summer day.
