To walk into the hospital room and see my love sitting up laughing and eating, made my day. As soon as she saw me her smile grew and she started crying I climbed in bed with her and held her close. God how I have missed these arms around me. She had her glow back and she was ALIVE.

I pulled back and just looked at her, didn't realize a thug was crying till she wiped my face. I'm so damn Happy to see her awake and alive. My adoration for her beauty was interrupted by someone clearing their throat.
We both looked and it was Royal tears sliding down his face too.

"I'll give you time with your pops. I love yall"

Then I kissed her stomach and walked out with her uncle in tow, while she looked at me lost. Awe damn, guess they didn't tell her, lol.

I was happy. No words could have expressed how I was and what I was feeling. My princess, my oldest was still alive and well and is giving me my 1st grandchild. Just how it should be. I dont really know how or what I should say bit we do need to talk.

I sit in the chair, take her hand, look in her eyes and say the 1st thing that comes to mind.

"I'm sorry, sorry I wasn't a better father, sorry I couldn't and didn't protect you, sorry you have had to deal with so much alone. I'm sorry baby girl. I have never loved you less or thought of you as less, I just.... I ju.......(. Gco)"
"it's OK daddy. You were still there and you still are. I forgive you and I love you. I talk to mom, she says she loves you always and she doesn't blame you and that she sent ma to you, she sent her to us."

Damn this is something I needed to hear. I love my wife don't get me wrong, I just always had this feeling in the back of my head that I was betraying Kimani mom. This like a weight lifted off my shoulders. But WTF did she just say she talked to her mama?

"baby, Whatcha mean you talk to her"
"well she was there. And she talked to me and made me feel better, so I'm here."
"thank god for her. Even in death she still has my back. Damn I miss her but you remind me of her so I'm good."

With that I heldy baby girl and she went to sleep holdong on to my shirt. Something she did when she was little and was scared but she will never have to be scared anymore.

I was laying there saying my thankful prayers and I must have dosed off because I was awaken but being lightly tapped on the forehead. I opened my eyes with a death glare to see my brother laughing like it was funny.

I was about to go off till he waved foe me. To follow him. I slowly slide from under Kimani and followed him into the hall where Dylan was standing....

"what's good" I said yawning. Didn't realize how drained I really was.

We got him...........................
