Third Person POV

"HEY TOM!" Matt greeted loudly outside Tom's door. The sudden noise made Tom jump in surprise before he looked up and realized it was Matt.
"Jesus- Matt don't scare me like that!" Tom snapped angrily.
"Hey! No need to be so hostile!" Matt huffed. Tom sighed before smiling.
"Agh, sorry Matt. Something's been on my mind." Tom's eyes stared down at the floor before gazing over at the tall ginger.
"How was work?"
Matt grunted at the thought of work as he walked over to Tom's bed and collapsed into it.
"Hmph, Teresa was being a butt today." The ginger complained.

Tom chuckled lightly. Even though Tom and Edd were great friends, he couldn't deny the fact that he and Matt were really close. Even though Matt isn't the brightest bulb, Tom still trusted him more than anyone else. Matt would always talk to Tom about his coworkers, how Teresa would always steal his nail file while he was using it, and how she would pull his hair when he wasn't looking. So, Tom had gotten used to Matt needing to rant about work.

"Jeez, what did she do this time." Tom smirked before leaning back into his chair. Matt sat up on Tom's bed and continued to rant about Teresa for a good 10 minutes. But Tom didn't mind, in fact, some of the stories Matt tells is really fun to listen to.
After finishing his story Matt then finally turned to Tom.

"Anyway, why aren't you playing with Edd and the new guy downstairs?" Matt asked curiously. Tom bit his lip, hesitating on whether or not he should tell Matt what happened a couple hours ago. He still didn't know who or where his disease came from, and he thought that Edd, or Matt had something to do with it. Even though Tom always thought that he was straight, he knew that the flower petals wouldn't start randomly when there weren't any girls around.

"Eh, I don't know. Don't really like the new guy." Tom grumbled before he slumped into his chair. "Really?" Matt furrowed his brow. "I thought he was alright. Not as good as me. But pretty alright."

Tom took a deep breath, considering his options. "Anyway, why aren't you downstairs hanging out with them?" Tom asked, trying to avoid the question Matt threw at him. Matt started at Tom in confusion, Tom hasn't been this secretive in a long time.

"Well I'm going to, I just want to change and lie down for a bit." Matt explained.
"You should come with me and play with them! It could be fun!" Matt smiled.
Tom rolled his "eyes" before he denied his friend's request. Matt huffed before practically forcing him to agree. Although it took a long time, Tom eventually agreed because of how pushy Matt was being.
Matt beamed with excitement, mentally, and physically patting himself on the back.
"Alright! I'll go change, I'll be right back and we could go down and play with Edd and uh- the other guy!"

The blue Brit nodded and smiled while Matt happily trotted out the room to get changed.
Tom sighed as soon as Matt left the room.

While Tom sat there and waited for his friend to get back, he silently laid back in his chair and just thought.
Not much time passed before the ginger bounced back into the room and talked him into coming downstairs with him.

As soon as the Brit made it downstairs he made eye contact with the familiar Norwegian sitting on the couch.
"Oh hi guys! Wanna play super smash bros with us?" Edd asked, handing over 2 black controllers. Matt nodded excited before sprinting over and launching himself into the couch.

Tom just mumbled a simple "Sure" as he made his way down the stairs and in front of the couch. Edd scotched over to his left, leaving a spot open next to him and Tord. Tom sighed before grabbing the controller and plopping down onto the couch next to the norski.

"Hey, what happened back there? Chocked on your stubbornness?" Tord snickered to himself. Tom didn't answer. Tord frowned at the lack of reaction to his joke and just looked back at the tv in front of him. Tord didn't know what this guy's deal was, but that didn't matter. As long as Tom didn't interfere with his plan, Tom shouldn't be any problem.

AAAAA omg I'm so sorry for not updating this book in so long. I recently started falling out of the eddsworld fandom. I'm really sorry about that. But I'll still try to update this book as much as I can! I don't really know when I can post the next chapter, but it'll probably take a while. Thank you all so much for the support.
