(PoV: Shadow)

  I didn't feel the warmth of my little Lapis as I was waking up that morning. I shot up and looked around the bedroom. I ran down the stairs, he was nowhere to be seen. Rouge still asleep on the couch. I pulled the blanket off her, waking her up.

"Damn it Shadow what's the deal?!" Rouge growled. She stopped herself, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yell. Is Sonic still sleep?"

"He's gone," I clenched my fist, "I can't find him."

"I'll get the group to start searching," Rouge started typing something into her communicator before telling everyone to start looking for Sonic.

  I double checked the house, even the spot above the fridge he hid in sometimes when we played. He had left his headband and all his sweaters. He almost never left with put wearing one now, I knew something was wrong. I skated outside, he wasn't in the backyard. He wasn't in town, in the wood, on the beach. I didn't want it to be true, but I left to Eggman's base. I walked up, most of it in ruins.

"What happened here?" Rouge looked at the damage, "Claw marks? Explosion residue, those are spin attack marks," he pointed out the dents and retracted on the metal of a broken robot, "Sonic must have done this."

"Lapis... where are you?" I picked up a torn piece of a white cloth.

"Shadow! Thank goodness you're here, please help me. Sonic has gone completely mad. Her worse than with the Metarex!"

"What?" I felt an emance power coming from the base. Another explosion and metal sonic flew out and collapsed, "Sonic!"

  A dark hedgehog appeared in front on me in less than a second. That dark aura. Black fur that was darker than my own. Those white eyes that were filled with depression and sorrow. I knew those bright red shoes, with those gold buckles. It didn't say anything, instead, tears started running down his cheeks. I stepped forwards and it hugged me.

"You should be taking better care of him," it said before it's fur changed back to the sapphire color I knew and loved.

  Tears streaming down that peach mussel. Bags under his eyes as those emerald eyes opened, showing me they had lost their spark. I kissed him and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Sapphire... let's go home," I picked him up. I noticed he was only wearing the sock with my symbol on them, "you look very cute."

"Sha-dow," his voice cracked and breath hitched, "He took, over. I-I didn't..." He burst into tears unable to speak.

"I know, that's not the real you. I've got ya," I held him close and held the red amulate around his neck.

"Mind if I take that off your hands?" Eggman asked recognizing the Chaos Emerald.

"You can eat shit," I growled, "Chaos Control!"

  We were back at home with Sonic helplessly crying into my chest. He said before it was dangerous for him to cry, now I knew why. That dark side would take advantage of his state of mind. I looked at the fridge, Peanut rested there. I gave in and quietly cried with him. Ignoring the calls from a pissed bat because I left her behind. I just need Sonic with me at this moment in time. I wanted him with me forever. I loved him, more than I thought I could ever love anyone.

--- Hours Later ---

  Sonic carefully held the box in his hands as we walked out in the backyard. We picked out a cherry blossom tree for Peanut. I help dig the hole and Sonic place the seeds with Peanut inside. He carefully placed the fertilized dirt over it and patted it down. I watered the fresh patch of dirt and sat back as Sonic curled up next to him.

"She has a new life now," Sonic spoke with a slight mix of happiness and sadness, "She'll be beautiful."

"Yes, she will," I kissed his forehead, "just like you are."

(PoV: 3rd Person)

  Sonic held Shadow tighter. They stayed there until nightfall. The stars overhead with a new of the galaxies arm glistening brilliantly in the sky. Shadow gently brushing back Sonic's quills reviving small purrs. Shadow slowing gaining a lustful desire, he didn't want to hurt his healing partner, but it had also been almost 3 months since he last did anything with Sonic.

"Shadow~♡" Sonic moaned, Shadow not noticing he had moved his hand so low.

"Lapis, are you still in pain?" Shadow asked, hoping his answer was no.

"Not yet," Sonic replied smiling.

  Shadow had taken Sonic upstairs. He laid Sonic down and opened quickly disappeared, returning with a rose, and a few things for later use. Sonic sat up, wrapping his arms around Shadow's next. He was merely enjoying the moment. Shadow placed the rose in Sonic's quills. He left the thigh-high socks on Sonic, removing everything else. He carefully tied Sonic's hands behind his back, kissing his neck as he did so.

"Shadow~♡" Sonic moaned again, feeling that familiar hardness in Shadows lap.

"I missed that voice of yours," Shadow whispers, scattering a few rose petals he had brought with him.

  He lifted Sonic and began peeping him, leaving an obvious hickey on his neck. Shadow nibbled the now red, blue ears. Sonic found himself enjoying this submission to his very dominant partner. He kissed Shadow cheek before he felt his entrance opened as Shadow started pumping a finger in and out. Sonic knew what was next after the second finger, Shadow followed the same process each time. Shadow knew he knew, so instead he had Sonic lay down with his face and chest on the bed, his hips raised facing Shadow. He waited for him to enter, but something else entered him instead. Shadow sucked on his entrance something new he suddenly decided to try. His tongue exploring a new part of Sonic. The tongue that Sonic new for exploring beyond his lips now explored beyond his tail.

Sonic moan to this new action, enjoying the surprise from Shadow, wanting him to surprise him again and again. Wanting to explore more things with his dark lover. He gladly gave himself to Shadow, letting him do with himself as he pleased.

"Enjoying this?" Shadow stopped, leaving a dark hickey on Sonic.

"I would... enjoy... anything... you do, aah!" Sonic panted.

"Anything?" Shadow raised a brow, he opened a box he brought along with him.

  Something cold entered Sonic and made him whinge from the temperature. Shadow turned on a switch and the cold 'toy' began vibrating gently. It was smaller than Shadow, but the same shape as his member. He left Sonic to adjust to it for a while Shadow prepared to enter Sonic alongside the 'toy'. He when in slowly, not wanting to hurt Sonic at an unbearable amount.

"Shadow~! ...nyaha~♡!" Sonic shouted.

"Ngh, we can... keep trying new things next time too," Shadow grunted.

"Please~♡" Sonic moan in response.

  He began thrusting into Sonic, pushing the switch in the 'toy' higher. It lasted so much longer with how slow Shadow was moving, but the added vibration made the slowness feel just as amazing. Shadow was slowly raising the switch towards max. He was raising his pace of thrusts into Sonic as well. Sonic a moaning mess, practically screaming Shadows name with each trust both his and the 'toy' hit his sweet spot. Sonic couldn't take the tension for much longer. He felt the sweet release as he came into the sheets below him. Shadow moved Sonic so he was on his lap now, starting to lift Sonic's hips and slamming him down. His tied hand and helpless shouting made Shadow hornier. He bounced Sonic on his own member, slamming him down one last time before he came as deep inside as he could. He shut off the 'toy' and pulled it out. He left himself inside Sonic a while longer. Slowly moving him before pulling out. Sonic had collapsed over Shadow, panting and exhausted.

"Shadow... that was..." Sonic spoke trying to catch his breath.

"Shh... let yourself rest. It's been three hours already. I'll prepare something for next time," Shadow kissed his lover and readjusted the rose in his messy quills, "We can take a bath when you wake up."

"Let's live together, in one house," Sonic said.

"I'll move your things into my home, just sleep already," Shadow looked at Sonic, his eyes already closed.

  Living with Sonic meant, see him every day, being with him all the time, and being able to do this more often. He kissed the ear of his sleeping lover and looked around. He wondered if he'd have to repaint his walls a brighter color. He'd let Sonic pick that.
