(PoV: Sonic)

  I woke up in bed alone. I hated that, I looked at the top of my dresser, there was a red bok with a light red ribbon. Shadow had left me another present.

"I really need to get him something in return," I said getting up, ignoring the soreness in my backside, "oh~ Shadow."

  I opened the box to a beautiful amulet made from the red chaos emerald. The gold trim around it and fine gold chain let it hand over my lower chest, right above my waist. I read the note with his neat writing all over it.

  For my little Lapis with the brightest emerald eyes,

  I leave you a chaos emerald amulet to protect you in my short absences in the future. I may not say it, but you mean the world to me. I cannot tell you how eagerly I'm waiting for my permanent return to your side. Every night I've spent with you in my arms has been magical. I wouldn't change you for the world. You're my precious sapphire.

   - Shadow The Hedgehog

  I hugged the note and let myself fall onto the bed.

"Shadow The Hedgehog, I need to tell you just how much I love you," I sighed.

"You what?" I heard terrifying growls coming from my doorway. I looked, wanting to deny my theory. Unfortunately, my theory was right. Amy had let herself in again, and I was going to turn into a blue pancake for Shadow to find laying around somewhere, "Sonic, tell me I did not just hear you say those words to someone other than me."

"Okay, I-I-I didn't. In-in fact I... I didn't say anything. I just... um... I just yawned," I did a fact stretch and yawn, "See I-I'm just waking up."

"Don't lie to me hedgehog," I felt like she had a flaming, raging aura around her.

"You just asked me to lie, ahh!" I dodge a hammer she three at me destroying my wall, "Amy come on, please try and understand."

"You know what, I should be hammering down Shadow. He stole you from me, but he's nowhere to be found. So I'll just deal with you for falling for his tricks!" She tossed another hammer at me almost hitting my dresser.

  I need to get her out of here, I walked over to my balcony, "Amy please, have a heart, ahh!" I ducked and she shattered the door to my balcony. I grabbed my shoes and jumped down.

"Get back here hedgehog!" She shouted as I ran off.

  I hid behind a tree so I could slip on my shoes. I was buckling them when I started hearing trees crash down behind me. I quickly got up, only to face Amy behind me.

"A-Amy! What a-a pleasant surprise," I backed away cautiously, "w-why don't we take a stroll through the woods?" She smashed down the tree next to us in one, "no? Okay then see ya," I took off full speed to Tails's workshop.

"Sonic, what's going on?" Tails asked as I burst in, ignoring the gust of wind.

"Oh no, nononono," I panicked looking around, "Tails lock the door," I said running around in panic, only stopping to look out the windows, "she gonna kill me. She's gonna kill him."

"Hey Sonic," Knuckles came in with Blaze and Silver.

"You okay? You look like you've seen a ghost," Silver asked, he placed a hand on my shoulder which only made me jump.

"Amy find out?" Blaze asked.

"Yeah," I sank down with my head on the ground.

"About what?" Knuckles scratched his head.

"Sonic and Shadow are dating," Blaze and Tails answered in sync.

"I knew it," Sliver said, "That's why you guys have been so cozy."

"Wait how did she find out?" Blaze rubbed my back.

"Well I woke up with a gift Shadow left me, and the sweetest most romantic note..." I got lost in my daydream for a second before calling myself back, "a-and well... in the moment of reading the letter, Amy heard me say I l-love him. I'm not sure how long she was there, but she's really mad."

"Oh you love him, that's so sweet. Do you have the letter?" She held her hand out.

"Y-yeah," I had never let it go, I handed it to her.

"Oh that's so romantic," Blaze said reading, "I never knew shadow had this side to him. You're a lucky hedgehog."

"Sonic the Hedgehog, get out her now!" Amy was banging on the door.

"Sonic my plane's in the garage, go hide," Tails pointed to the garage door.

  I grabbed my note and ran into the garage. I jumped onto the plane, and hid the note in my amulate. I curled up into a spiny blue ball under the controls of the plane.

(PoV:3rd Person)

  Tails opened the door leading Amy in who was angrily gripping her hammer's handle.

"Amy hi, how are you doing?" Tails asked, slightly nervous.

"Alright, where's he hiding?" She growled.

"Where's who hiding?" Blaze asked.

"I know he's here. Now tell me where's Sonic the Hedgehog?!" She shouted with a growl.

"Amy how about you calm down and tell us what's going on," Blaze guided her to the sofa and sat her down.

"I don't have time for this tell me where he's hiding," Amy stood up and aimed her hammer at Tails.

"Amy please, I'm his best friend. I'm not going to let you hurt him," Tails put his hands on his hips.

"Fine," Amy started walking around, "I'll find him... myself!" She smashed a bookshelf.

"Silver go help Sonic," Tails whispered as Amy smashed a vase.

"On it," Silver whispered and snuck out.

  Silver looked around for anything he could use. He found a box large enough to fit Sonic as a curled up ball.

"Psst Sonic," Silver whispered into the plane, "it's me, Silver. I'm gonna get you outta here."

"Silver?" Sonic came out from under the controls.

"Hurry, curl up and get in," he held out the open box.

  Sonic didn't hesitate to crawl in a curl up. Silver floated up to a window when Amy busted the door open.

"Sonic are you hiding in here?" Amy snared, "Oh hi Silver. Whatcha got there."

"Nothing, just needed a box to store some stuff at home. Why?" He didn't dare to move.

"Mind if I take a look?" Amy asked with a scary grin on her face.

"Look see," Silver only opened one side, making it appear empty, "empty."

"Silver put the box down," Amy demanded.

  He sighed and quickly sat the box down in front of another the same size. He used his power to open the second box and the wall of the first box. Sonic quickly rolled into the next box as Silver closed both boxes completely.

"Gotcha! Huh?" Amy opened the too to an empty box.

"You know Sonic might be in the plane," Silver said.

  Amy went to search the plane, Silver picked up the second box, kick the first in its place. He flew out waving goodbye to Amy.

(PoV: Silver)

"I knew Amy could be scary but not like that," I said as we flew over the forest, "How have you dealt with her for so long?"

"I think it's mostly luck, and some false charm," Sonic answered, "I honestly have no idea when she decided we were a thing without me."

"Sonic get down," I closed the box seeing Eggman.

"What for?" Sonic asked.

"Shh... Eggman's here. He might give us away if he sees us," I whispered, "I've gotta get you someplace Amy won't look."

"Silver what are you thinking?" He asked as I looked at the ocean near By, "Silver no. Don't leave me there."

  I kept the box closed with my phykokenisis and took us over to a very small rock formation in the water.

"You'll be safe here Sonic," pulled him out of the box.

"No nononono Silver!" He was clinging to the box.

"Just wait here. I'll get you later," I dropped him onto the rocks and left.

(PoV: 3rd Person)

"Silver!" Sonic called being left alone; surrounded by the very thing he feared, water.

  By nightfall, Amy still hadn't given up. She was still looking for Sonic.

--- Sonic's Bedroom ---

"... control," Shadow came back for the night like he promised. Only to see the room destroyed, "What... the fuck?"
