THE FOLLOWING NIGHT
THE KARAOKE BAR

"Can't you even pretend that you're sad about Bella's wedding to Alpha Patrick?" Tyler asked as I drank a glass of vodka. The lunch ended badly for Bella but good for me. I think my dad must have found out that the butler is Bella's mate but how did he find out about them?

I came to the karaoke bar with Tyler to celebrate Bella's wedding even though I'm sure that she won't let my dad decide her fate. She wouldn't let him control her life.

"I suppose I could pretend but I won't," I drank another glass.

"Bro, slow down with the drinking," Tyler said.

"Why? It's not as if the alcohol affects my health," I honestly said.

"I guess you're right," Tyler shook his head in agreement.

"I've had to deal with Bella for over a century and a half so let me celebrate this," I said wiping the stain of vodka from my cheeks.

"Yeah, she's always been a pain in the ass," Tyler pointed out.

Well, Bella wasn't meant to be this bad bitch but I was responsible for her turning out like this. Bella and I could never get along cause we were worlds apart and to be honest, I didn't want us to get along. Our brother and sister relationship was better off as toxic and selfish.

"So what about you and Ariella?" Tyler asked.

"What can I say? She didn't sign up for me so we are obviously not fine," I said while having my last glass of drink.

I'm done for the night as long as vodka or any other alcohol is concerned.

"Hmm, are you letting her go? Have you even told her about your past?"

"Nope!"

"When will you tell her?"

"Never," I honestly said.

"What? You must tell her. You can't hide that from her," Tyler said. I told Tyler about how I knew Ariella so he's basically aware of our past.

"Yeah, I'll tell her that we met four years ago at her high school and I was their History teacher. I'll also tell her that I killed a few of her high school friends and then I compelled her to forget about me. You know what? I'll be sure to tell her that Steve didn't intentionally cheat on her with Rachel cause I was the mastermind behind that. Tyler, I'll tell her everything and I'm sure she'll forgive me.," I ironically said.

"Okay, I get your point but there was no need to say all that," Tyler said. My eyes darted to Jenny who walked passed our table. I hoped she didn't hear us. Perhaps the loud music must have prevented her from hearing but she's a vampire so....

"Ty, I know Ariella feels something strong for me but she's fighting it. I'll prove to her that I can be good for her," I told him.

"It's not about you being good or not. It's about what you are", Tyler said.

"It's not my fault that I was born into a vampire family. Besides being a vampire is awesome and I'm not ashamed of who I am but I hate what I did in the past I've stopped being a vampire beast for four years now," I told him.

"Hey, I'm sure she'll love and accept you for who you really are. Don't forget that Dorothy always wanted her mate to be a vampire so she struggled with accepting me as her mate since I'm a werewolf," Tyler stated, he finally drank the glass of vodka that's been in front of him since we ordered our drinks. He has a point though, Ariella really needs to accept me for who I am. I'll be the happiest man alive when or if that ever happens.

My heart started pounding so fast giving me a signal that Ariella was here so I paid attention to her footsteps. By now, I knew every detail about her. How she walks, how she eats, how she smiles, how her lips move whenever she talks, how her body reacts to my touch. I can't help but think about her the whole day.

"Hey, guys," Dorothy squealed to our table.

I glanced at Ariella who was wearing a curvy lemon spaghetti gown that revealed the top part of her sexy breasts. I noticed that she was comfortable with clothes that revealed skin...I also love her in such dresses, I love her in any type of clothing. I love her in no clothing at all.

She looked so hot in the dress that I don't mind looking at her for eternity. That dress is sexy but I also want to take it off her and make love to her with all of my soul and body.

"What are you guys doing here," Tyler asked them, bringing me out of my perverting thoughts.

"Obviously to have fun,"
Dorothy said while Ariella and I were gazing into each other's eyes.

"Aren't you guys even gonna say a word to each other?" Dorothy asked making this situation more awkward.

"Babe, let's go next for the Karaoke challenge," Tyler said causing Dorothy to smile.

"Forty points for this cute couple," the host dressed in a light blue top and white bagging trousers shouted.

Dorothy and Tyler went to the stage happily. Ariella sat on a chair next to me but she remained silent.

Their voices complimented each other. They sang in a perfect rhythm. The song they chose gave me goosebumps because Ariella and I danced to it on her homecoming night. Even though she couldn't remember it, I knew that she felt connected to the song.

"Eighty points for this loving couple," the host announced when Ty and Dorothy concluded their beautiful performance. Everyone including Ariella and I were cheering for them. The both of them were squealing for joy.

"Are we going to be like this? You sure are good with the silent treatment," I finally spoke to Ariella. She touched her hair and said, "I already told you that I'm leaving."

"All the more reason why we need to get along before you go," I said.

"I'm not interested," her brows furrowed.

"I won't force you," I said and she shrugged.

"Who wants to go next?" The host asked. My biggest enemy, that bastard, Zac Tyger appeared from nowhere and went to the stage. He took the mike and said, "I composed an original song and I'll love to share it with everyone," Zac announced. Most people here cheered for him.

What is he trying to prove? That he can sing? I've heard him sing before and fuck, it was terrible.

That's it, I've heard enough. Without thinking twice, I rushed to the stage and punched the hell out of Zac's head. Zac hit me back and I used my powers to throw him off the stage.

"You bastard, how dare you to talk about my wife like that?" I barked at him, clenching my fist...

He growled and launched himself at me throwing heavy punches at my chest. I was not affected by his attack. I punched him twice as hard and both of us scattered the glass tables close to us. At that moment, all I cared about was killing this bastard. To think I was feeling guilty for attacking his pack, I wanted to reunite him with his mate but he was coming after Ariella. None of the vampires, witches, and werewolves here dared not to interfere in this fight but they all kept on cheering, anticipating who would die first.

"Does it bother you that your wife turns me on?" Zac barked making me lose it completely. I threw him to a glass table a few inches away from Ariella's table. The glass table broke tearing his body badly.

"Sylaq Steel Stop!!" Ariellla shouted.

"No, I'm going to kill him!" I yelled.

"This is why I could never choose you and this fucked up life. It's all messed up and shitty. You know what? Kill each other 'cause I don't care," Ariella shouted so loud that I'm sure that the whole world heard her.

She ran out of the bar and I turned back to see Zac's white wolf that was stained with blood. I thought he was gonna attack me but he went out of the bar and I also dashed out of there to find Ariella. Zac's wolf was not heading in Ariella's direction which made me realize that he pulled that stunt to get me angry. By the looks of it, he was successful in his mission.

"Ariella, stop! Where are you going?" I said as I reached up to her.

"Far from you!" She screamed, anger evident in her voice.
