ARIELLA'S POV

FORTUNATELY, Steve's injury wasn't that critical so the doctor discharged him a day after he was admitted. However, his parents didn't let him write the exams and they also said that he wouldn't be attending the homecoming party.

MR. Wrong also left our school without warning. I spent the last two weeks writing exams, decorating for Christmas, and thinking about MR. Wrong.
My heart couldn't forget the tiny yet memorable moments that I shared with MR. Wrong.

Steve, my boyfriend was at home recovering yet I didn't think about him, yet I didn't crave him but Sylaq Steel was like a forbidden drug yet I wanted him so bad.

Where did he go to? I even asked the Principal he never answered.

Should I find him?

"Focus on your boyfriend, Steve Willows," my brain screamed out.

"Find MR. Wrong now or else you might never see him again," my heart yearned.

"Get two glasses of chocolate milkshakes, brownies, custard donuts, and some chicken wings," my stomach growled.

I obviously listened to my stomach so I quickly got up from my room and then went to get some chicken wings from the kitchen. So my kitchen was quite huge cause my awesome Mom loved to cook and my dad, Simon loved eating just like me. The kitchen was painted In lemon and purple colors. There was a medium island in the middle and there was a double-door fridge placed in the right corner, the oven was next to the cabinet and there was enough space to move about. We had no milkshakes so I settled for orange juice.

Beep! Beep!

Steve was calling but I cut the phone cause I didn't feel like talking to him. I turned off my phone.

I went back to my room which was painted in total white and after eating, I slept on the soft bed like a baby.

"Did you miss me?" Sylaq who was looking hotter than ever in a red T-shirt and black jeans whispered. I gazed into his green eyes and voiced, "yes, I did."

He took my hands and we started dancing on stage like two people in love. Sylaq leaned closer to me and tried to kiss me but it was an epic fail cause my alarm woke me up.

Dammit, it was a dream. A very hot dream though.

SYLAQ'S POV

Tyler and Dorothy were finally gonna get married so I went back to Mount Evie for their wedding. Tyler was my cousin and best friend and I could even call him my brother. The wedding ceremony took place successfully. It was only logical that Tyler married his mate, his true love, Dorothy.

In my absence, my dad had brought an outsider, a werewolf soldier to join our kingdom. His name is Zac Tyger. I was sure that he was here to finish me off cause when I visited his pack, I killed a few of his people and I almost killed his mate. He didn't even know that Alicia was alive but I was not gonna tell him that.

Every second of my time here was spent thinking about Ariella. To think that I got Steve injured and yet I wasn't even there to win her heart. Fuck, my luck.

Somehow, that human managed to make me care for her but I was sure that after I'd tasted her, I wouldn't even remember her name again. There was no way that I would just fall for a human even though she was the most beautiful one that my eyes had been blessed to see.

Two weeks later and I was still here cause of my younger sister, Bella. She had been making life difficult for  Nathan, my little brother so I stayed behind to protect him from her clutches.  Bella was a vampire beast,  she was ruthless like me but the difference between us is that I couldn't hurt my loved ones. Nathan wasn't just my brother, he was everything to me and I'd protect him to death. I was my brother's keeper after all. Bella Had no right to drag our brother into our endless battle.

The fresh air of my huge royal garden made me calm but my heart was yearning to see Ariella so tomorrow, I'd go back to Dobana. I deepened my claws into my hand, stopping myself to think about her in that way. It was very easy to hide my true form from Ariella and those other humans. They wouldn't guess that I was the animal that had killed their people because I was able to walk during day time.
