Where are you?
It has been 3 days.
She was discharged two days after.
Upon arriving home, without a word, she climbed up the stairs to her bed and curled into a ball, lying on her bed. Her eyes stared blankly at the bed opposite her.
Dipper stood silently at the door, watching his twin. He felt helpless.
Stan came up too, whispering, "Let her be, she needs time."
The two of them left. Mabel didn't even care.
She felt hot tears leak out of her eyes, making a stain on her bed.
Her tears continued flowing.
Do you think she even cared if the stain was getting bigger?
Her vision blurred, her eyes stung from not blinking. She was too tired to blink her eyes.
Unknowingly, she drifted off to sleep.
---
And when she awoke, she didn't bother to leave the room, or even take note of the time.
She detached herself from reality, ignoring any sounds.
She forgot how to speak.
She drowned herself in sorrow, she even forgot what she was feeling sad for.
What was his name again?
---
It has been a week.
Mabel lay on the bed, curled up in a ball, eyes red and puffy, slowly but surely slipping into unconsciousness.
Dipper went out to get more water. Unknown to her, Dipper had been sitting by her side all this while. He let her have her own way, but was there just in case something serious happens.
Mabel closed her eyes again, semi-conscious now. She was dying, and she didn't know it.
She heard a voice call out to her.
"Wake up."
It sounded more persuasive than forceful, as if the voice were pleading with her to listen to it.
Mabel ignored it, thinking it was probably Dipper again. She went in deeper into the darkness, feeling really dizzy. She didn't want to wake up at all.
"Wake up."
It sounded more persuasive this time. It was louder too.
She ignored it, but the voice was so loud...
It sounded familiar too...
"Come back... Shooting Star,"
Mabel knew that voice. She finally recognised it.
Bill.
"Bill!"
She woke up with a start to the familiar smell of hospital anesthesia.
"Doctor!" she heard a distant voice.
A few people rushed in, one holding a stethoscope.
"Are you feeling alright?" the person asked.
"Bill? Where is he?"
"Bill?" he asked back.
"Your brother is outside, if you were wondering."
The doctor looked at her, determining that she was finally alright, before he took his leave.
---
Bill he was here, isn't he gone, no where is he?
Was he in my sub-conscious?
Bill, you asked me to come back, but where are you?
