Day Six

I look hesitantly at the clock, as I am thrown into a temporary jail cell for awhile. I look towards the policemen, who are completely ignoring me. Unable to have my phone with me, I look at the empty area of the jail area. Hopefully, I am able get out, but the creator wants me to suffer for sure. I look towards the moving hands of the clock, and I hope to find him. I sigh sadly to myself as I glance at the floor, looking up as I find someone else being lead to this jail cell.

Immediately, I gasp to myself as I realize who it is. Choi Seungcheol, a sunbae from high school. I look at him with surprise, as he is also pushed into the jail cell. I look away as I see Seungcheol looking back at me with his dark, brown eyes full of daggers. I bite my lips hesitantly, as I wonder how I can talk to Seungcheol.

Before I can say something, Seungcheol speaks up with a dark voice, "Jeon Wonwoo."

That chilled laughter that could be heard afterwards, and I glance worriedly at Seungcheol, who is smiling at me like he's gone mad. I don't know what else to say, as he sighs with great grief. He sits a bit closer to me, and whispers, "I know who you are, do you know who I am?"

I nod quietly at his question, as he adds, "Aren't you not supposed to remember me?"

I look at him confusingly, as I reply quietly back, "What do you mean...?"

Seungcheol leans back onto the wall of the jail cell, finding himself amused with my confused expression. I don't remember Seungcheol being all confident; he was more calm and focused on baseball back then. He seems to toss such scared questions at me, "How long do you have to live?"

My hands fiddle with the bottom of my shirt, as I reply with caution, "About a week...left."

Seungcheol has the expression of being envy, and responds back, "Consider yourself lucky, tomorrow is my last day."

My eyes widen at the comment, as my mouth suddenly goes dry. But how am I able to recognize him and he could easily recognize me? The small sweat forming on my hands, cause me to face Seungcheol, realizing how his face is even more pale and skinner than when I remembered him.

Seungcheol adds to his statement, "The creator usually tries to challenge you, when someone recognizes you, it defines how much time you have left, which isn't much. That's when I realized, you need to entertain the creator."

"Entertain him? How?"

Seungcheol points to himself, and makes an interesting facial expression, "Doing something that your will won't do, that's what will entertain the creator."

Something that I won't do.........robbing a bank.

Thinking of it, I did something that I would do, listening to the creator, and protecting my friends from being taken from me. But never have I went against my own morals, which is something that scares me. Seungcheol adds to his statement, "Though killing may be extreme, violence, stealing, and things that are opposite of your character, that's what the creator is after. The creator wants every single part of you to break, so that the creator can take over what you can do. Break all forms of what your moral principals are, in order for you defeat him."

Seungcheol scratches his neck, as I roll my sleeves up. Loosing all form of the good morality that I have within me, how else can I defeat the creator? For someone who seems to recognize me, and give me a good piece of advice, the saying of you only live once comes into play. I stand up from the jail room, and smirk devilishly at Seungcheol. He looks up with excitement rising, and asks, "What you planning boy?"

"A way out of here."

"Unexpected of you, I'm in."

I glance at the policeman, who is walking over to us as he seems to wonder why I'm standing. Seungcheol stands up as well, standing next to me. His deeply scarred face gives me the chills, yet I'm taking all manners to get out and save my life. I motion the policeman to come near me, as I clench my hand. Like Seungcheol had read my mind, as soon as the policeman comes near us, Seungcheol grabs his wrist and pulls him forward. The busy police station didn't notice until I grab the keys from the officer.

I scramble to open the gate, as Seungcheol still holds onto the wrist of the officer. The other officers yell at us, as we manage to escape. Seungcheol knocks the other officer out, grabbing his taser and throws it at me. Seungcheol grabs the gun and points it at the officers, as we both slowly help each other out of the station.

"Attention, we have two armed runaways from station 317. We need to get them immediately!"

Seungcheol aims and shoots a bullet at the light, which goes out and sends sparks everywhere as the police officers cover their heads, and the civilians inside scream and cover their their ears. As they are distracted, Seungcheol grabs my wrist and runs out of the station with me, as we both make our way towards the opposite direction of the city.

"I know a place out of the city, follow me."

Though I know I shouldn't trust him, I run after Seungcheol, throwing trash cans and boxes at the officers following after us. They are right at our heels, as I continue to do what Seungcheol tells me to do. As we reach to a three path street, Seungcheol pulls me to a secret alleyway. He covers my mouth with his hand, as I silently watch the officers running the other direction. I sigh in relief, but the hairs on my neck get stiff and I get goosebumps as Seungcheol whispers into my frozen ears, "Thanks and good night."

Good night?

Before I could do anything to interject, Seungcheol grabs the taser from my pocket, and tases me right on the bare skin of my neck, making me scream soundlessly into Seungcheol's hand, and my vision darkens. My eyesight immediately blurs as the last thing I could hear is it the cold, bellowing laughter ringing in my ears.
