Day One & Two

⚡️A⚡️

I open my phone to try to call Minghao and Junhui, but I remember how they won't remember a clue about me. I turn on my engine, hurriedly driving down the street. Usually, the streets would be busy with loud cars, cussing, and children running. Today, everything is calm with barely any living beings on the streets. Humming to myself, I press on the brakes to stop my car. My eyes widen as I rub my eyes to make sure I'm not hallucinating.

Almost 10 cars are smashed horribly into each other. I could see blood flowing out of the cars. The road is blocked, and I didn't have much time. I park my car in a random parking lot, grabbing my backpack from the trunk. I had the necessities at least, some money, three water bottles, some food wrapped in plastic bags, toiletries, clothes, and my glasses. I put my charger and keys inside my backpack as I lock the doors. I grasp onto my phone as I start to head down the street.

I briskly put on my hood of my jacket, as I walk down the broken streets. Looking for the dance studio that Minghao and Junhui practices at, I look at the door that always welcomed me in. I open the door, revealing the huge practice room that we used to practice in. There, I could see Minghao and Junhui smiling and dancing. I clear my throat subtly, before walking inside. Minghao's smile disappears automatically as he hears footsteps, slowly looking up at me.

Junhui looks up at me too, with confusion. They must really not remember me...

I take a deep breathe before saying, "I heard you guys are the street dancers here."

Minghao laughs at my so-called compliment and brags, "Well, we are the best."

That brat never changed his personality, even when he doesn't know me. I scratch the back of my neck as I dare him, "How about a dance competition?"

Junhui and Minghao look at me as if I am a drunkard. I drop my backpack onto the floor, and add, "I can beat you. If I win, let me in your dance team.

Junhui laughs bitterly at me, standing up confidently and answers, "What kind of confidence is this? What if you lose?"

...Shit I didn't think about the consequence of me losing.

I blink in hesitation as Minghao interrupts, "If you lose, which is obvious, that phone and those shoes look pretty neat to keep."

I'm risking my own items to dance against the best.

I swallow the lump forming in my throat, replying quietly, "D-deal."

Minghao and Junhui start talking to each other in Chinese, which always reminds me of how they would do this to me whenever they pulled a prank. I didn't want them to lose their memories of me forever. I grit my teeth, and close my eyes as I start grooving and dancing to the music.

One problem.

I close my eyes, but I don't remember what I did. But when I open my eyes, I see Jun and Minghao staring at me as they had nothing to say. They look at each other before saying, "You've won."

It seems like both have danced, but I haven't felt myself muscles cramping as I did. I look down at my hands, seeing no scratches or hinges. I sigh carefully, as I feel the situation being weird and difficult to handle. I look at them as they nod, as I excuse myself from the room.

Another message pops up as I turn around to look away from them: Congrats! You have won. You have passed to save Wen Junhui and Xu Minghao. Adding in memories into their systems.....

As I pull away to look outside rather than my phone, I feel an arm wrapping around my shoulder. I jump in surprise, as Junhui says, "Yah, buy us food Wonwoo. You took forever from the park, we were so hungry."

Minghao follows after and pokes me on the side of the stomach, nodding. He ruffles his own hair, and he adds, "Yeah, I was waiting all morning."

They seem to remember that I went to the park today. I smile brightly and nod, as I put my phone in my pocket. At least I got two of my friends to remember me. As I leave the academy, another mission pops up onto my phone. It says: New challenge, saving the memories of your brother. Meet him at his workshop at midnight, and challenge him to a car drifting race.

I cuss angrily under my breathe, as Junhui starts to drive towards our usual hangout. I know I can't defea Bohyuk as he is a more talented driver than me, I don't know much tricks up my sleeve. I look towards the clock, as it's already 6pm at night. 6 more hours, which means I need to figure out a way again. It seems like closing my eyes seems to help, maybe I should do that as well for this round.

--
I drive towards Bohyuk's workshop, as he works as a model for a special designing company. I wait outside my car, fixing my leather jacket. I need a way to make sure to look cool as I drive, I don't want to look like an idiot. I look up as I see Bohyuk leaving the workshop, smoking as he does. Before I can scold him, I remember that he doesn't have a brother to stop from doing so.

I walk confidently up to Bohyuk, pulling on the cold expression I have whenever Bohyuk would get in trouble. He glares at me, and presses the cigarette under the sole of his shoe. He then replies rudely, "Who the hell are you?"

"I'm Jeon Wonwoo, and I dare you to a car drifting race. If I win, I get that backpack, but if I lose, you can take these shoes."

His ears perk up as I show him my prized shoes, it's the one that Bohyuk bought for me last year with his hard worked money. A computer is what I got him, it's kinda funny actually now that I think of it. He smirks and cracks his knuckles, saying, "Hm, what kind of confidence do you have to beat me?"

I shrug to myself, and reply quietly, "I have heard you are a great drifter. I'm pretty amazing myself."

He laughs like I have told the most hilarious joke. He fixes his light, brown bleached hair and responds back arrogantly, "Fine, lets go. But don't go crying to your mommy if you lose."

I laugh back with mimicry, rolling my eyes and thinking in my head, "We have the same mother you little f**ker."
