12
"Noona, where are you going? It's late now." Alec asked me the moment he woke up. I was busy putting my boots on. Why is he awake tho? It's still 11 in the evening.
"I am gonna go somewhere, so you have to stay here. Okay?" I told him.
"You're leaving us again here?" he asked sadly.
"I'll be quick Alec. Don't worry." I said and smiled at him. He nodded.
"Alright, at least buy us donuts noona, okay?" he said. I chuckled and nodded.
"Go back to sleep now Alec." I said. He nodded. I was about to went outside the house when my phone suddenly vibrated. I looked at it and saw Yuna's number.
My forehead creased. What does she want?
"Hello?"
"Yerin-ah... help us..."
"Why? What the hell happen? Where are you?" I immediately went out and locked down the door. I went to my car and drive to their house.
"Fire... there's fire... please hurry."
My eyes widened. I drove as fast as I can and luckily, cops didn't caught me. Damn, that was on full speed.
"Okay, you stay there okay? I am on my way." I said.
"Hurry please. Yebin is still inside."
My eyes widened. I ended the call and I arrived at their place. The whole house is on fire. I saw Yuna trying to get away from the firemen but they were too strong.
"Yuna-ah..." I called her. She turned her gaze to and went to me immediately. I hugged her as tight as I can. She was sobbing so hard.
"What happened?" I asked her.
"I didn't know, we were sleeping peacefully and then the fire started spreading." She said.
"Is Y-yebin inside?" I asked her. She nodded and cried.
I bit my lip and looked at the house. Should I go in?
We went in front the house and I tied my hair in a high ponytail and looked at Yuna.
"Stay here, I am going inside okay?" I told her. She shook her head.
"No! It will be risky Yerin-ah. P-please don't." her eyes pleading.
I didn't listen to her, instead I ran but a fireman went to me and stopped me. I looked at him.
"Miss I'm sorry but you can't go inside." He said. I tsked.
"My niece is inside. I need to save my niece." I gritted my teeth.
"Sorry ma'am but let us handle this, you can't go inside. Please go back in there." He said. I didn't bother to listen to him, instead, I punched him and he let go of me.
I ran as fas as I can. My bangs were distracting me but I didn't bother to move them. I bit my lip and looked around. There's too much smoke! I can't even see properly.
"Yebin?" I called out. I looked around and started coughing. "Yebin!" I shouted. I started moving from one place to another.
"Baby? Where are you?" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I can hear loud cries. I looked at the table and there I saw Yebin hiding. I ran and avoid all the fire.
"Yebin-ah?" I called her. She looked at me and ran to me. I immediately hugged her.
"Aunt Yennie!" she exclaimed and continued crying.
"Baby, hey, we'll get out of here okay? Aunt Yennie is here." I said, trying to calm her down.
"O-okay..." she said. I carried her and hugged her tight. I looked at the place. Fire is all over the place. How can I get through this? I closed my eyes and think of something.
You can do this Yerin. Do this for Yuna and your niece.
"Right, let's do this!" I exclaimed and started escaping the place. I was coughing while passing those fires.
"Ouch!" I exclaimed as I fell down. My eyes widened as I saw blood on my knee. I got hit by a sharp wood. Shit.
"Aunt Yennie, t-there's blood. Are you o-kay?" she asked me. I nodded and smiled.
"Yennie will be fine. Now, let's finish this shall we?" I told her. I tried going up but my legs are too weak.
I still managed to stand up and carried Yebin once again. This time I was carefully walking.
I started coughing so hard that I was running out of breath. A little more Yerin.
I sighed as we successfully went out the place.
"Yebin!" Yuna shouted and went to us. I put Yebin down and looked at my legs. Blood. To much blood.
My eyes went blurry and I can't breath properly. The last thing I saw was Yuna looking at me worriedly.
yuna's point of view
I bit my lips as I remember the scene earlier. Yerin carrying my daughter. I sighed and looked down.
This is my fault. I also texted Jimin about this matter.
Speaking of Jimin, he's now here. I took Yebin at Yerin's place and Sojung is taking good care of the three. I stayed here for 4 hours already and Yerin is still sleeping.
I am worried for goodness sake!
"What happened?" Jimin asked as he was staring at his sister. I sighed.
"It's all my fault. I'm sorry." I said.
"What happened Yuna? How come she became like this?" He asked.
"She saved Yebin, the house is on fire and she volunteered to rescue Yeb--"
"What's with Yebin and she's really concern about her? She's risking her life!" he exclaimed. I looked away.
It was painful.
What Jimin said hurts me. I sighed.
"Sorry Jimin-ah." I whispered. Good thing Yebin is not here!
"How about you? Are you okay?" He asked and looked at me.
"Me? I am okay. I j-just hope Yerin can wake up now. I am worried." I said and looked at her.
Moments later her hands move. My eyes widened and I pressed the button above her. Nurses came in together with Doctor Min.
"The patient is okay now. Good thing your brought her here as early as you can. It can lead her to death if you came late." He said. "Excuse me."
"Thank you doc." Jimin and I said in unison.
"Y-yah! Are two arguing?" She asked. I looked away.
"Tss. Oppa, I told you don't hurt Yuna." Yerin said and sat down. I guided her and made her food.
"I can't believe I was awaken because of your voices." I said.
"Why did you that?" Jimin asked all of the sudden.
"What? Aren't you proud of me? I rescued Yuna's dau- I mean niece!"
I heard Jimin tsked.
"You really are doing anything you can huh?" He asked. Yerin nodded.
I put her food on her bed table.
"Why don't you just get back and re-marry again? Ah! You two are giving me headache." Yerin said as she continued eating her food.
I sighed.
I hope that's easy.
