Years had passed since me and Gaara got married. The 4th Shinobi war had finally finished. Many people mourn for their love ones and too many youths die early. I felt so bad for that, but this is not the end.

"Gaara!" I yelled, "Here's your lunch, and don't forget to eat it!"

"Of course, I'll eat this, especially when you made this for me." he smiled.

"Have a nice day, Gaara."

"Take care, love," he kissed my cheek. "I'll be back before dinner, okay?"

"I'll wait for you," I waved my hands. "Bye!"

"Bye!" I watch him leave.

What a nice day...

"I wonder what Mom, Dad, and others are doing right now..." I sighed.

"Maybe I can walk around the village since I am already finished with the chores."

I quickly do my daily routines like bathing. I quickly brushed my hair and leave the house.

"It's nice to walk around again." I murmured.

"Y/N!"

I looked around to see who called my name.

"Hey, Kankuro, what's up?" I smiled.

"I am fine, Y/N," he said. "Where are you going?"

"Walk around, I guess,"

"Can I join?"

"Sure."

We walk around the village and a conversation made their way to my ears.

"Hey, how are you after birth?" a villager asked.

"I'm fine, but it hurts carrying a child for 9 months and deliver them. It gives me a lot of burden," a mother replied.

"It's hard at first, but when you see your child's face, pain will fade."

"You're right."

I sighed.

"Y/N, is there something wrong?" Kankuro asked.

"Nothing... it's just..." I frowned.

I saw Kankuro looked at the villagers from the corner of my eyes.

"It's because you still don't have a child, right?" he asked.

"Well... maybe." I smiled weakly.

"Y/N, maybe this isn't the right time for both of you to have a child, maybe you two are so busy that you two can't find a time to make one." he comforted me.

"You are right, but I want to make Gaara happy." I frowned.

"Gaara is happy with you, Y/N. Having a family doesn't mean having children, you know." he looked at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Having family is where life begins and love never ends." he replied.

I nodded at him.

"Kankuro, thank you for that." I smiled.

"Just wait, Y/N. There's time for that," Kankuro tapped my shoulder. "Don't lose hope."

"Okay, Kankuro. We will wait." I said, full of hope.

He's right, I have to wait. Things appear at the right time, maybe now isn't the right time.

"I am home!" Gaara yelled.

"How was your day, Gaara?" I asked him.

"It's fine, Y/N. Very tiring but now, that doesn't matter." he wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on my shoulder.

"Did you eat your lunch?" I asked him.

"Yes," he whispered.

"How is it?" I asked him.

"It tastes so good."

I turned and wrap my arms around his neck then kissed him.

"You missed me, don't you?"

"Yes."

"You smell good." he whispered seductively.

I laughed.

"Before that, can I have your lunch box? I will wash it for you."

"Okay."

Should I ask him about this or not...?

I sighed.

"Here," he put the lunch in the sink.

"Y/N, can I ask you something?" he sat at the chair behind me.

"What is it, Gaara?" I asked.

"Kankuro said that you were with him a while ago and you have a problem about something."

"I... I... don't have a problem." I stuttered.

"Don't lie, Y/N." His voice raised.

"Okay, fine, just... don't raise your voice, Gaara." I looked down.

"Sorry, Y/N," he comforted me. "Then what is it? Why don't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want to worry you."

"Tell me about it."

"Gaara, do you want to have... kids?" I asked him.

"Why do you ask?"

"Because right now I can't give you one, and maybe you will be happy if we have kids." I explained.

"Y/N, I would love to have kids but if we can't have one, it's okay." he smiled.

"But do you think I am-" I was cut off.

"Shhh... It's okay as long as you are with me, I am happy."

"Gaara..." I hugged him.

"It's alright, I am full of hope that we will have one soon," he brushed my hair. "By the way, we are going to Konoha for Naruto's Inauguration of being Hokage."

"Really?!" I jumped, squealing.

"Yes, we will see Dad and Mom and the others again."

"Yay!" I smiled widely.

"But first, can I do this? I missed you." he seduced me.

"You can." He pulled me into a kiss.

Y/N

I woke up at 5:00 in the morning and good thing Gaara is still in deep sleep.

I should get up and prepare breakfast.

I was about to stand up but suddenly, Gaara dragged me down, making me lay down beside him.

"Stay here, Y/N. It's too early." he said sleepily.

"Aren't you going to work, mister?" I poked his nose.

"No, work starts at 11:00."

"I am just going to prepare breakfast, you know."

"No, you don't have to. I'm going prepare it for you."

"Since when did you learn how to prepare breakfast? I thought Temari-chan is the one who prepares breakfast for you."

"You're wrong, then," he looked at me. "Now, just sleep with me. I am going to prepare breakfast for you later."

"Let me know." I hugged him.

"I will." he pulled me closer.

Gaara

I stretched my arms and sat. Y/N was still sleeping.

"Good morning, love." I whispered.

She is so cute.

I stand up, not letting her wake up and do my daily routines but today, I am not wearing my usual clothes.

"It is a nice morning to prepare breakfast." I murmured.

I walked towards Y/N who is still sleeping.

"Sleep well..." I tucked her hair behind her ears.

I opened the door and left the room.

What does she want for breakfast? Should I call Mom and Dad?

I reach for the telephone and dial Mom and Dad number.

"Aoshi residence, how may I help you?" a girl on the phone said.

"Good morning, this is Gaara. May I speak to Mrs. Aoshi?" I asked

"Hey, big brother Gaara, it's me, Aionie. Let me call Mom in a minute." Aionie said on the phone.

"Okay."

"Hey, Mom! Big brother Gaara is on the phone!" Aionie yelled.

"Okay! I'll be down a minute." Mom yelled back.

"Big brother Gaara, Mom is going to speak now."

"Okay, Aionie."

"Hey Gaara, what's up?" Mom said.

"Hey Mom, I was just wondering, what is Y/N favorite breakfast?" I asked her.

"Hmm... let me guess, you are going to cook for her, right?"

"Umm... yes." I scratched my head.

"Well, Y/N's favorite breakfast is pancakes with a twist."

"What do you mean?"

"The thing is find her favorite taste and that's the twist."

"Oh, okay, I think I got it."

She laughed, "Gaara, say hi to Y/N for me."

"I will." I smiled.

"Okay, see you soon, bye..." she said.

"Bye." I put down the phone.

Pancakes, huh? Maybe the twist is (your favorite flavor)...

I opened my eyes and Gaara isn't on the bed.

Where did he go?

I look at the clock and it's 9:00 in the morning.

"Wait, 2 hours to go before Gaara has to go to work." I gasped.

I have to get up now.

I stand up and do my routines quickly.

"What is that?" I sniffed, "Looks like someone cooks pancakes."

I run down the stairs and saw Gaara.

He's cooking pancakes, huh?

I sat down at the middle step of the stairs and watch him cook.

"He looks... handsome." I put my hands on my cheeks.

"Y/N, you are awake." he turned around to look at me.

"Gaara, who told you that I want pancakes?" I asked him.

"Your mom," he replied.

"You talked to mom?"

"I called her on the phone." He smiled.

"Why you did not wake me up? I want to talk to her." I rolled my eyes.

"Simple because you are heavy sleeper and she want to say hi to you."

"But still you did not wake me up." I glared.

He laughed and put the pancakes on the table.

"Don't be mad, you can talk to her later." He neared his face.

I blushed really hard.

"You look so cute if you n-." he cut me off.

Before I could finish my sentence he kissed me.

"Y/N, Gaara! It's too early for making a baby, don't you guys going to eat breakfast before you have some sexual interaction?" Kankuro appeared at the door.

We broke the kiss.

"Kankuro? What are you doing here? It's to early for the intruder to visit." I raised my eyebrows.

"I am just going to inform you that we have to go at konoha immediately." Kakuro explained.

"Why?" Gaara asked.

"Because Naruto's inauguration will be on 2 days and we usually arrive at konoha for 3 days."

We both walked near him for more information.

"Is it possible?" I asked.

"Maybe yes if there is a heart."

"Why did they reschedule it?" Gaara asked him.

"I do not know yet. The council did not explain why."

"I see..." I put hands on my chin.

"Alright, we are packing our things. We are heading tonight." Gaara said.

"Alright Gaara. I'll tell the council about this." Kakuro said and left.

"Do you think we are going to make it?" I asked Gaara.

"Yes I am pretty sure about it." Gaara hugged me.

"Tell mom that we are going tonight." He touched my cheeks.

"Okay." I smiled and reach for the telephone.

I am excited at the same time worried because I didn't think we can make it.

I sighed

Maybe I have to become more optimistic like Gai-sensei and Lee. I remembered when we saved Gaara from those Akatsuki. I almost die worrying about him, but at least we saved him and we arrive at Konoha for less than one day.

I dailed mom number.

"Aoshi residence how may I help you." Astin said on the phone

I know it was him because of his voice.

"Hey Astin it is me Y/N."

"Hey Y/N-neesan what's up?"

"I am okay how about you there?" I asked

"Yes we are okay. Actually we are getting ready for Aione's birthday at the same time for Naruto's proclamation as Hokage." He explained.

"I see... Astin can you please tell mom and dad especially Aione that we are going to attend Naruto's inauguration and Aione's birthday for less than one day."

"Less than one day?" He asked "How will you be able to make it?"

"Do you remember when we rescued Gaara? We arrived less than one day." I smiled

"But it's different situation you know." He said.

"You and Gaara have to be more careful because we still can't tell that Charles and Therese are spying on us." He sighed.

"How do you know?" I asked him.

"I think I saw them from far when we have our investigation after they attacked which is brother Gaara's proposal." He replied.

"Why you did not tell me?" I crossed my arms.

"Because I don't want you to worry and mom said that I shouldn't tell to you nor brother Gaara because it might ruin your engagement as well as your wedding." He explained.

"But still I have to know this thing Idiot." I raised my voice.

"Sorry Y/N-neesan. I am just concern about you and brother Gaara." He apologised.

"Okay apology accepted." I calm my self "But we have to discuss with this when we arrive."

"Okay Y/N-neesan, but I can't stop worrying about it. I don't think you are going to make it." He said worriedly. I can sense him.

"Astin remember those words I always tell you whenever we have fights?" I asked him.

"Yes."

"We will because we can." We said in union.

"Okay, can't wait to see you guys tomorrow." I laughed.

"Me too Y/N-neesan. Don't worry I'll tell mom and dad that you two would come."

"Okay see you bye." I put down the phone.

Hn. Why should he be alive? He'll just ruin everything. He must be dead. Why?

Gaara

"Y/N are you ready? We are departing soon!" I shouted.

"Yes just packing some stuffs!" She yelled back.

"Hey Gaara are you both ready?" Kakuro appeared at the door.

"Yes. I am just waiting Y/N."

"Where is she?" He asked.

"Upstairs." I replied.

"Okay but be quick." Kankuro smiled and left.

"Gaara I am ready let's go and I think they are already waiting for us." She said carrying her bag. "I'll carry that for you."

"Are you sure?"

"It's okay I can carry this things." I said and I carried her bag.

"Thank you." She smiled.

"They are here!" Kankuro yelled. "What took you so long?"

"Nothing important." I said.

"Hmm..." Kankuro smirked.

"Let's go. We might not be able to be there on time." Y/N said.

I lay down the luggage at the back and sat next to her.

"Y/N looks like there is something bothering you? What is it?" I look near at her.

"Nothing it' just that..." She looked down.

"It's just?" I trail her hair behind her ears so I can see her face.

"It's just about Clarles and Therese." She look at me.

"What about them? They are already dead, what are you worrying about?" I asked her.

"Astin told me that they saw them after they attacked which is our engagement and I think it is the reason why they did not show up to our wedding." She cried a little bit.

I feel my anger tense up hearing those things.

"Don't worry Y/N nothing will going to happen and besides I'll be here beside you." I comforted her.

"Gaara still I can't stop worrying." She frowned.

"It's okay Y/N. I am here." I held her chin up.

I calm her down and hugged her.

They will never separate us again Y/N... never...

Y/N

"Gaara are we there?" I asked him, sleepy.

"We are here Y/N." He hugged me tight.

"Let's go." I said

I saw mom and dad together with Erin and Aione waiting for us at the front gate.

"Y/N it's glad to see you again." Mom hugged me.

"Same to you Gaara." Dad added.

He nodded and smile.

"Hey Y/N-neesan it's been a while." She hugged me..

"Hey Aione you look so feminine, and your hair grew longer." I rub my chin.

"Well Y/N-neesan as long as I can remember you are taller than me but now I think I am much taller than you." She tease.

"But still I am much prettier than you." I laughed.

"But I am cuter than you." She grin.

"Alright let's head home." Erin said.

"Where are the others?" I asked him.

"They are at home waiting for you and brother Gaara." Erin replied.

"We are so excited to see you again you know." Aione added.

"Well I guess we should go." Gaara smiled.

"Okay." I smiled.

"Hey guys!" I yelled.

"Y/N-neesan, brother Gaara." Zoey said and hugged me.

"Long time no see." Astin tap my shoulder.

"How are you guys?" I asked them.

"We are fine Y/N-neesan." Dale replied and smiled.

"By the way where is Akira? I haven't seen your wife, Astin"

"We want to see her as well as our niece." Gaara seconded.

"Don't worry you'll see them soon. They are just resting." Astin smiled.

"Okay then, I can't wait to see them."

Gaara

"She is so cute isn't she?" Y/N pinched her cheeks gently.

"Yes she looks like Astin." I smiled as I put my hands on her head.

"Gaara? Do you want to have a child?" Y/N look at me.

"Y/N are we going to talk about this again?" I asked her.

"I really want us to have a child and you see I can't give you one." She forwned.

"It's okay Y/N as long as we are together we will be okay even if we don't have a child." I rubbed her back.

"Brother Gaara can I speak with you privately?" Astin opened the door.

"We want to tell you something." Erin added.

"Okay, what was that?" I asked them.

"Um Y/N-neesan mom is calling you down stairs." Astin looked at Y/N

"Okay I'll be back but Erin and Astin we still have to talk about it." Y/N said as she put her back to the crib.

"Yes Y/N-neesan we just have to discuss it with brother Gaara." Erin said.

"Okay." She left.

"What about it?" I asked them.

"It's about Charles and Therese." Erin closed the door.

"They are not dead after all." I crossed my arms.

"Brother I think they are going to attack you and Y/N-neesan. I am pretty sure they will get their revenge." Astin said.

"So that's why we should be ready for it." Erin added.

"I wont let them lay a hand to Y/N." I closed my hands turning into a fist.

"Don't worry borther I'll talk with the elders about it." Erin tap my shoulder.

"But that's not what I am worrying about." Astin looked down thinking deeply.

"Then what is it?" Erin looked at Astin.

"They are with another guy who calls himself Leo and he usually kidnap a newly born child or their mother and offer them to his god as a sign of his faith." Astin explained handing us the picture of him.

"So this is he?" Erin grab the picture.

"That's not the only thing." Astin said "I wonder who is pregnant among the girls. Akira isn't pregnant."

"Nor Zoey and Y/N-neesan" Erin sighed.

"Maybe we should figure out whom it was" I suggested.

"You are right." Astin nodded.

Hopefully Y/N isn't pregnant but if she is I'll protect her and our baby. I 'll make sure that they are safe even if I die.

Y/N

"Mom, I believe that that you called me!" I yelled

"Yes." Mom said.

"What is it then?"

"Y/N seems that you have a problem, what is it?" Mom asked me.

"Mom it's nothing important it's just that..." I pause for a minute to think "It's just that I can't give Gaara a child." I looked down.

"Y/N do not think about it too much." Mom smiled "You know I also felt that way when I can't also have a child but your father and I did not lose hope that someday we be able to have a child."

"And you were born." She tap my shoulders.

"Do you think I am infertile?"

"No Y/N, believe me Y/N you and Gaara will going to have a child at the right time." Mom cheered me up.

"Thanks mom." I smiled.

I didn't notice the time and it's already 11:00 pm.

I stand up but I lost my balance.

"Y/N are you okay?" Mom cached me.

"I am oka-" I said as I rushed to the kitchen sink.

"Y/N what happen to you? Why are you vomiting too much?" Mom asked as sh rub my back.

"I don't know mom."I drink some water.

"Did you eat too much?" Mom asked worriedly.

"No mom. Actually I did not eat yet." I explained. "My last meal was at Suna."

"Then maybe to are just tired. Why don't you rest? I'll tell Gaara that you sleep early."

"Okay mom." I tried to walked but I fell to the floor.

"Take it easy Y/N." Mom help me to stand. "Tell me what exactly you feel."

"This past few days I always felt dizziness and almost everyday I puke a lot." I explained.

"Maybe you should go to the doctor by tomorrow." Mom suggested.

"I will mom but please do not tell Gaara about this. He will surely worry a lot." I pleaded.

"I won't tell him but you should rest." Mom ordered.

"Okay mom." I thanked mom.

"Gaara?" I asked him sleepy.

"You are awake." He sat beside me "Mom told me that you fall asleep so I carried you here.

"I guess we should be ready for Naruto's inauguration." He kissed my forehead.

"Okay what do you want for breakfast?" asked me.

"Anything sweet I guess."

"Okay let's go downstairs I'll cook for you." Gaara slid his hands onto mine as we left.

"Hey Gaara, Y/N." Someone yelled from behind.

"Hey Temari-chan long time no see." I waved my hands.

"It's been a long time." Temari-chan said "Gaara you looked different."

"I still look the same." Gaara monotously.

"Well you look more professional." Temari said.

"Hey Temari is that Shikamaru and Shikadai?" I pointed them.

"Yeah. We are going to Naruto's inauguration and we saw you here."

"I see..." Gaara nodded.

"He is so cute Temari-chan. Shikadai looks like you but his hair looks like yours Shikamaru." I looked at Shikadai.

"Well I think we made a good combination." Shikamaru smiled.

"By the way where's others?" Gaara asked.

"They are already at the inauguration site and I think we should be there by now." Temari chan answered.

"Okay let's go." I exclaimed.

"Hey !" I waved.

"Hey Y/N and Gaara. When did you arrive?" Tenten asked.

"Yesterday night." Gaara replied.

"Join us." Ino said.

"Hey is that Sarada and Inojin?" I asked them.

"Yes they are." Sakura smiled.

"Aww... they are so cute." I giggled.

"Where is Naruto and Hinata?" I asked.

"They are just preparing." Shikamaru replied.

"Okay the-" I was cut of by Sakura.

"He's here

I saw Naruto on the top of Hokage's castle waving his hands.

"Hey!!" He yelled at the crowed.

"I did not thought that you loved kids." Gaara whispered.

"Yes I do loved kids because since Dale and Aione was born I was the one who took care of them." I explained.

"I love to see you Y/N happy especially if we have our fist child." Gaara smiled.

"And I would love to see you changed their diapers." I tease him.

"I am willing to do that for them Y/N and for you." He pulled me closer.

"We will figure it out if the time comes." I pinched his nose.

He then kissed me passionately.

"Hey Y/N, Gaara long time no see." Naruto yelled.

"We are fine how about you? Are you okay now?" I asked Naruto.

"Yes I am fine. I comforted Himawari and she understands now." Naruto replied.

"How about Boruto? He is probably traumatize."

"Don't worry he is fine, I already explained him about it." Naruto smiled.

"Well congratulations then Naruto." Gaara and Naruto shook their hands.

"Where are you guys heading?" Naruto asked.

"We are about to walk around the village. It been a long time since when we took our tour ." Gaara replied.

"Why don't we eat at Ichiraku Ramen?" Naruto suggested "My treat."

"Really?" I jump, squealing.

"Of course." He smiled.

"Hey Naruto!" Sakura yelled from far.

"Sakura, Sasuke join us we are going to eat at Ichiraku Ramen." Naruto yelled back.

"Okay." Sakura and Sasuke ran towards us.

"Hi Teuchi-san and Ayame-san." Naruto waved his hand.

"Hi Naruto we are expecting that you would come here and eat." Ayame-san greeted.

"Well I miss your Ramen so that's why I come here." Naruto rub his belly.

"Wait is that you Y/N and Gaara?" Ayame-san pointed us.

"Ayame-san it's been a while since I ate here." I smiled.

"Yeah we missed you so much and Gaara." Teuchi-san said.

"Everyone in this village talked about the both of you when you are gone." Sakura added.

"Hmm... Looks like everyone missed us." Gaara wrapped his arms on my waist.

"Have a sit." Ayame-san pointed us where to sit.

We sat and I felt myself starving.

"Naruto how was your inauguration?" Teuchi-san asked.

"It was very awesome you know. I used to dream of being the Hokage when I was a kid but now I already fulfill it." Naruto smiled widely.

"Well all of your hardships has paid off." Teuchi-san smiled.

"Sakura, Sasuke how about Sarada? How is she?" Ayame-san asked.

"She is fine Ayame, she is starting to is walk." Sasuke smiled.

"Yeah Ayame-san." Sakura seconded.

"Here is your Ramen." Teuchi-san serve the Ramen.

"Itadakimasu." Naruto said hungrily.

I was about to eat the ramen but suddenly I felt something bad.

"Y/N why are you not eating your Ramen?" Gaara asked.

"Is there something wrong?" Sakura added.

"Nothi-"

Before I could finish my sentence I felt my stomach turned upside down.

I look for a empty space to vomit.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" Gaara rubbed my back.

"Yes." I replied.

"Is there something wrong Y/N? Please tell me I am so worried about your health." Gaara hold my hands, worried.

"Y/N! what happened?" Sakura asked.

"These past few days I always vomit a lot and most of the time I felt like I am going to collapse at no time." I explained.

"That's normal Y/N." Sakura smiled.

"What do you mean it's normal?" Gaara asked, confused.

"I also experienced that when my period stop and besides I am a medical ninja." Sakura cheered me up.

"What do you me-" Gaara was cut off by someone.

"Hey hey look who's back." The voice from behind.

"Charles?" Gaara growled.

"I thought you are dead." I glared at him.

"Speak for yourselves." He grabbed me and touch my stomach.

"Don't touch her!" Gaara yelled.

I tried to punch him but he pointed his kunai on my neck.

"She is not the one I am touching Gaara. The one inside her womb." He smirked.

"Put her down!" Gaara formed his sands around him.

"As you wish." He pulled me and I fell to the ground.

"I am not done yet Gaara and Y/N. I'll return and when the day comes I'll make sure that your precious gift will die!" He disappeared.

"Gaara." I cried.

"Shh... Y/N it's okay he is gone. I will never let him hurt you again Y/N." I hugged him tight.

"I promise."
