"Will you marry me?" I asked her nervously.

What if she answered no?
What if she is not ready for this?
What if she refused to be with me and go for another guy?
What if it isn't the right time for this?
What if?

"Gaara..." Y/N said, bring me back to reality. I see some tears flowing right out of her eyes, and it makes me wonder how she's still pretty even if she was crying. "Yes, I'll marry you."

I immediately stand up, realizing what she said.

"R-really?!" I stuttered, shocked.

I notice a crowd forming around us, as they cheer for me and Y/N.

"Gaara, you are the one who makes me happy and the one who made me realize that you're the one who I want to spend my life until my last breath." she wiped her tears.

I put the ring on her ring finger and we both smile at each other

"Well, congratulations for both of you, Gaara and Y/N." Tenten smiled at us.

"We hope that you guys will live happily," Sakura added.

"Thank you, guys. Without you all, I couldn't be with him." I said.

"Gaara, this is the first time I saw you actually smiling..." Temari said in shock.

"Hmm... Well, I do believe this girl beside me makes me happy." I smiled.

I hold her hand so she can feel my sincerity.

Y/N

I turned to him and hugged him.

"Gaara, I love you." I closed my eyes.

"I love you too Y/N, very much." he said and hugged me back.

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" the crowd around us cheered.

Wait, what? Kiss?!

I look at Gaara as his cheeks turn pink.

He is cute while blushing, if this is the way to make him blush, then I would tell the crowd to tease him more.

"Well, we should give the crowd what they want, shouldn't we?" he smirked though blushing.

I didn't answer his question but I let him press his soft lips onto mine, feeling sparks around us.

"Gaara, that was long," I teased him.

"I couldn't help it, I want more." he tells me.

"Oops, I think we should save that after the wedding." I touched his lips.

He just nods, but I could tell he's a bit annoyed.

"Y/N and Gaara, I am so happy for both of you." Tsunade-sama said.

"Uh… Tsunade-sama, can I ask you something?" I asked her, "The special kid that you are talking about is… Gaara?"

"Yeah, you got it right, Y/N." she smiled at me.

"I get it now," I laughed. "I must've been so blind!"

"Nahh! Gaara, when will be the wedding?" Naruto asked.

"Baka Naruto!" Sakura punched his head.

"I am just wondering you know," he said while rubbing his head.

We both laugh at them for arguing with each other.

"As soon as possible, so don't worry." Gaara answered in a monotone voice.

"If that's the case, I'll be the god father of the babies Gaara, Y/N!"

I looked at Gaara and so did he.

"Shut up, you idiot!" Sakura yelled again.

"So, you two are gonna make me an uncle soon, huh? Right?!" Kankuro asked.

"Kankuro?" Gaara glared at him

"Well, we just get engaged and we are still going to plan for the wedding, you know. But don't worry, if the time comes, we will inform you all," I said shyly.

"So don't be so excited, Kankuro." Temari hit his head.

We both laughed watching Sakura and Naruto, and Temari and Kankuro arguing with each other.

Gaara

I looked at her again.

"Y/N, I know I have already told you this many times, but I want to tell you this once more," I whispered. "I love you."

"Gaara, I love you too." she whispered back as I hugged her tightly.

I will never lose you again, Y/N, never again…
