———

Big Chill emerges from the cold mist, his icy blue eyes glowing ominously. His wings are fully extended, exuding an aura of frost. He glides silently, almost gracefully, towards the first guard.

The guard, realizing the immediate threat, raises his weapon and fires, but the bullets pass harmlessly through Big Chill's intangible form. In a swift, fluid motion, Big Chill solidifies and places a hand on the guard's chest. Ice spreads rapidly from his touch, encasing the guard in a thick layer of solid ice. The guard's eyes widen in terror before he is completely frozen, a silent scream forever etched on his face.

Big Chill moves to the next guard with a speed that belies his ethereal form. The second guard tries to radio for backup, but his voice is cut off as Big Chill exhales a cloud of freezing breath. The icy mist engulfs the guard, crystallizing his breath in mid-air. His movements become sluggish, and within seconds, he is immobilized, transformed into a lifeless ice sculpture.

The remaining guards attempt to regroup, but Big Chill is relentless. He swoops down on them, his wings creating a gust of freezing wind. The guards are thrown off their feet, and frost begins to creep up their bodies from where they hit the ground. Desperation fills their eyes as they realize the futility of their struggle.

One guard, in a final act of defiance, charges at Big Chill with a baton, swinging wildly. Big Chill effortlessly phases through the attack and, with a cold, detached expression, places both hands on the guard's shoulders. The guard gasps as ice races down his arms and torso, freezing him from the inside out. His heart stops, and he collapses, shattering into pieces upon impact with the ground.

As Big Chill looms over the frozen bodies of the guards, his icy breath filling the air, Mockingbird and Janet Van Dyne step forward, ready for the fight of their lives. Mockingbird's eyes narrow as she grips her batons, electricity crackling along their length. Janet quickly shrinks down to her Wasp form, wings buzzing as she takes to the air.

"Girls, run!" Mockingbird orders, her voice firm and unyielding. "We'll hold him off!"

Nadia and the other members of G.I.R.L. hesitate for a brief moment, fear and worry etched across their faces, but they know they can't stay. But Nadia didn't want them to get hurt. The other though turn and dash down the corridor, hearts pounding in their chests.

Mockingbird moves first, striking out at Big Chill with her electrified batons. The batons crackle with energy as they make contact with Big Chill's ethereal form, sending a jolt of electricity through him. For a moment, it seems to have an effect, and Big Chill recoils slightly, his form flickering. But the victory is short-lived as he phases through the next attack, materializing behind Mockingbird.

With a swift motion, Big Chill slashes at Mockingbird with his claws, cutting through her tactical suit and sending her sprawling to the ground. She gasps in pain, clutching her side where the icy claws tore through, feeling the searing cold spreading from the wound.

"Bobbi!" Janet cries out, darting towards Big Chill. She rapidly shifts to her full-size form mid-flight, delivering a powerful punch to Big Chill's side. The blow lands with a thud, but Big Chill barely flinches. Instead, he turns his icy gaze towards Janet, and with a flap of his wings, sends a chilling blast of frost in her direction.

Janet tries to evade, but the freezing wind catches her, sending her crashing into a wall. She groans as she slides down to the floor, ice crystals forming on her suit and skin.

Seeing both of her mentors down, Nadia grits her teeth. Desperation fuels her as she raises her wrist, aiming her Wasp stinger at Big Chill. "Get away from them!" she shouts, firing a concentrated blast of bio-electric energy straight at Big Chill's face.

The blast hits Big Chill squarely, the energy coursing through him and temporarily disrupting his focus. He screeches in pain, the intense light blinding him for a moment. His wings flare out, and he stumbles back, momentarily stunned.

"Go, go, go!" Nadia yells to the others, seizing the opportunity. She grabs Mockingbird's arm, helping her to her feet, while Janet struggles to get up, still weakened from the attack.

The group dashes down the hallway, Nadia helping the others as they run. Behind them, they can hear Big Chill recovering, his enraged screeches echoing through the corridor.

As they round a corner, the girls glance back and see Big Chill shaking off the effects of Nadia's blast, his eyes glowing with fury. They know they can't stop now.

"Keep moving!" Nadia urges.

Big Chill lets out a low, menacing hiss, his breath visible in the frigid air as he shakes off the effects of Nadia's blast. His glowing eyes narrow in fury as he watches the group retreat down the hallway. With a powerful beat of his wings, he lifts off the ground, his icy form gliding effortlessly through the air.

The temperature drops even further as he takes off in pursuit, frost forming on the walls and floor in his wake. His screeches echo through the corridor, a chilling reminder of the relentless predator closing in on his prey.

Nadia and the others can feel the cold intensifying behind them, knowing Big Chill is coming for them. They pick up the pace, desperately trying to put more distance between themselves and the relentless alien.

But Big Chill is faster. He glides through the air with deadly precision, his form phasing through obstacles as he closes the gap, his icy vengeance drawing nearer with every passing second.

As Big Chill glides through the hallway, the freezing air swirling around him, a group of heavily armed guards rushes in from the opposite direction. They immediately open fire, their bullets and energy blasts whizzing through the air. But Big Chill phases through the onslaught, the projectiles passing harmlessly through his ethereal form.

With a fierce screech, Big Chill retaliates. He exhales a powerful blast of icy breath, freezing several guards solid in an instant. Their expressions are frozen in terror as they become lifeless statues, their weapons slipping from their grasp and clattering to the floor.

Another group of guards charges at him, but Big Chill swoops down with lethal precision, his razor-sharp wings slicing through their ranks. Blood sprays across the walls as he effortlessly cuts through their armor and flesh, leaving behind a trail of carnage.

Amidst the chaos, Nadia quickly recalibrates her Wasp stingers, setting them to deliver a high-intensity stun blast instead of a lethal shot. She takes aim at Big Chill, her hands steady despite the fear gripping her heart.

"Come on... this has to work," she mutters under her breath as she locks onto her target.

As Big Chill turns his attention back to the fleeing group, Nadia fires. The stinger blasts strike Big Chill square in the face, delivering a surge of bioelectric energy. The impact causes him to shriek in pain, his form flickering as the energy courses through him. His advance is halted as he wavers in mid-air, temporarily stunned.

"Go, now!" Nadia shouts to the others, urging them to make the most of the brief reprieve. She keeps her eyes on Big Chill, hoping the stun will hold long enough for them to escape.

As Big Chill stumbles from the bioelectric stun, his ghostly form begins to flicker and fade. The icy air around him dissipates, and the temperature slowly rises. With a final, pained screech, Big Chill's spectral figure collapses into itself, transforming back into Y/N.

Y/N barely has a moment to catch his breath. He looks down at his trembling hands, the cold still clinging to his skin. He feels disoriented, his head spinning from the rapid change. "Not again... please, not again," he mutters, fear creeping into his voice.

Before Y/N can even process what's happening, the Carnitrix on his wrist pulses with an ominous green light. He clutches his wrist, trying desperately to stop whatever is coming, but it's too late. The device overrides his will, forcing another transformation.

His body contorts unnaturally, bones cracking and reshaping as fur sprouts across his skin. Extra arms burst from his sides, and his face elongates into a more simian appearance. Within seconds, Y/N is no longer himself but has become Spider Monkey—an agile, four-armed creature with a vicious streak.

Spider Monkey snarls, his instincts taking over as he surveys the area, looking for his next target.

———

In the dimly lit room on the bottom floor, the atmosphere is tense. The girls work quickly, patching up Mockingbird and Janet, who both bear the marks of their recent battle with Big Chill. Bandages and medical supplies are scattered around as they do their best to treat the injuries.

Taina, her hands shaking slightly, attempts to call the police again, but the line is hopelessly busy. "I can't get through," she says, frustration clear in her voice. "The blackout's got everyone calling in, and the lines are jammed."

Nadia, meanwhile, is hunched over a laptop, frantically trying to decipher the green symbol that had appeared on the screens and why the Carnitrix wouldn't come off. Her fingers fly across the keyboard as she sifts through data, her mind racing to find a solution. "There's got to be a way to stop this thing," she mutters to herself. "Why won't it come off?"
