[Chapter 21.. oof.]

~Recap "I'm sorry Roman."

He just nodded, internally accepting the apology but too scared to speak. Virgil felt bad, he just kept on backing away from Roman, tears streaming down his face. He then turned to run off to get Logan and Patton when The Follower was standing right in front of him, making his skin go pale(r) along with his hair.

Virgil's breath stopped as everything around him seemed to be closing in on him.

This couldn't be happening now?... Come on Virgil wake up!

But it wasn't a dream, It was all too real. The guy who was sent to figuratively hunt Virgil was there, in front of Virgil. Ready to take him back to "The Chamber" but it was really just an insane asylum room.

Virgil took a deep breath to try and compose himself but instead he ended up  losing his balance, his vision becoming spotty and not knowing why. For some reason Virgil began to recall the last time they had drug him off to their own asylum. He had felt the same thing, the sudden dizziness, spotty vision, losing his balance. It was all on purpose!

The guy who had been tracing Virgil for days looked very much like a federal agent, but Virgil knew all too well that he wasn't. The guy stepped towards Virgil giving him a hand as he was losing his balance. 

Virgil jolted up, taking his hand away from the stalker agent and wobbily bolting over to Roman, but Roman ended up running to him as Virgil dizzily fell to the ground.

Roman picked him up and glared at the agent looking dude who was whispering something into his earpiece that Roman couldn't make out. 

In that moment Roman decided to make a run for it with Virgil in his arms. He ran as fast as he could into the woods but it was hard due to the fact that he had two times the weight to carry. 

When Roman thought he was out of sight, he laid Virgil against a tree and looked around. He noticed that it was dark and he was surrounded by nothing but the wooded trees and his sleeping boyfriend. It's funny how just not too long ago he was a normal teen in high school trying to fit in until he met Virgil, now... 

Well, now he didn't know. All he knew was that he'd fight for his life to make sure that Virgil was okay.

It'd been awhile since Logan and Patton had seen Roman and Virgil last, they'd began to grow even more worried than what they were. At least Patton, Logan just became severely unnerved.

"Lo... what if they don't come back!?" Logan looked back at Patton after looking around for any sight of the duo or any sort of threat. "T-They will Patton... Don't worry."

Patton grumbled and laid his head on Logan's shoulder as he tried not to think about it, but that stutter was all he needed to know that Logan himself was unsure if anything would be okay.

After about fifteen minutes of just sitting in unsettling silence, Logan decided to stand taking Patton off-guard a little. "What are you doing Lo?"

"I'm going to look for the others." Patton's breath caught in his throat as he processed what Logan had just said. "W-Well then.... I'm going with you! And that stands!" As Patton spoke he stood and looped his arm around Logan's while looking up into the slightly taller boy's eyes.

Logan huffed in defeat, knowing all too well that he couldn't say no to Patton, especially when it was something as serious as this. "Fine. But be careful."

Patton jumped giddily in-taking an exaggerated breath as he squealed. "This is gonna be so fun!"

"Going to be."
