Virgil had just moved to Ballater City. He didn't know anything about the city and to be honest, He didn't want to be here either, but he had to because the school was great and his family had moved here because of work. 

Tomorrow was the first day of school, Virgil could be more excited, but he wasn't. He sat up from his bed to look in the mirror, Virgil brushed his light yellow and green hair out of his eyes only to have it fall back down. 

Virgil was the only person he knew that had hair that changed color with their mood... he could hide his emotions all he wanted, but his hair always gave it away. 

Thank god only I knew what the colors meant.

Virgil put his hood over his head and laid back down on his bed. He put his headphones on and with the relaxing feeling, his hair changed back to its natural hair color, dark brown, with streaks of light blue throughout it.

About 3 hours later Virgil drifted to sleep, he woke up the next day. Already off to a bad start. He woke up at 7:45 and school started in 15 minutes!

"Shit! I gotta go!"

Virgil jumped out of bed and grabbed a black t-shirt with a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and his black hoodie with purple patches on it. He fixed his hair and put eyeshadow on under his eyes. Something his brother taught him.

He grabbed his bag and ran out the door without a second thought.

Roman was sitting outside on a table with his buddies when a group of girls came over screaming.

"OH MY GOD! ROMAN! CAN YOU SIGN MY FOOTBALL?!"

Roman just laughed and took the girl's football.

"You got a marker?"

The girls squealed as they all were throwing their markers at him, he simply grabbed the one closest to him, signed the ball and handed it back.

The girls squealed once more as they left. Roman turned to Jon (Another football player) and smiled.

"Wow, The girls REALLY love you." Jon said as he rolled his eyes.

"Too bad I don't love them!" Roman said as he shoved Jon a little.

They both laughed a little then Jon pointed to a tree off in the distance and said.

"Hey, look at that freak!"

There was a kid in a black hoodie with purple patches, he had his hood over his head, Roman couldn't see his face. All he saw was his hair, It was deep blue with streaks of purple. He seemed to be drawing in something. The boy looked up and his hair immediately changed shades of blue, Red, Gray and Yellow.... strange, but cool.

"Uh, Yeah... Freak."

He didn't think he was a freak, Roman thought he was pretty cool. He's never seen anyone like him before.

Virgil was sitting under a tree outside of the school waiting for class to start. He pulled out his Journal to drawl when he felt like someone was watching him so he looked up and saw this masculine boy with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, he was wearing a football jersey. Virgil quickly looked back down at his journal. He felt embarrassed. His hair changed to fifty shades of blue, red, gray, and yellow.

The bell rang for class to begin, Virgil shuffled his stuff into his bag very sloppily and walked into the HighSchool keeping his gaze low. He got lost in his thoughts and wasn't paying attention to where he was walking when:

BAM!

Virgil found himself sitting on the hallway floor, his stuff scattered everywhere as he often did in his old school.

"Sorry Kiddo, You okay?"

Someone reached out, grabbed Virgils hand and pulled him up.

"My name is Patton, or Pat... or Dad, What's your name?"

Virgil dropped to his knee's and began picking up his papers and books, Patton sat beside him and helped.

"Uh, V-Virgil Black or Verge."

Patton smiled, he seemed very happy that this had happened, that Virgil had ran into him... why? I mean.. Virgil had never experienced such giddiness or happiness so, maybe this was normal?

"Hey Verge, wanna sit by us at lunch?"

Virgil picked himself up and threw his bag over his shoulder, keeping his glance low as he said.

"Y-Yeah.. sure, uh.. who else is gonna be there?"

Patton jumped up and smiled.

"Well, Logan, Roman, me, and hopefully Y.O.U!!"

Virgil grinned, his hair fading bright orange.

"Uh, y-yeah... I-I'll be there."
