The next 7 or so chapters are poems from my middle school days! I found them when going through old paperwork my mom sent me, so I thought I might share them. I cannot promise they are good and as usual you do not have to read them! Hope you enjoy! (Including this chapter!)

She longs for it
She longs in vain
For they know it will never
Come again.
The pretense of her past friends
Close, nearby.
And the warmth it brings
When she closes her eyes
A telltale sign of her old content.

No, her thoughts cannot go there
To thinketh that is to have a care.
With all her might
She wishes
She hopes
But nothing has seemed,
Or dared,
To keep her afloat.
She burns with lots of unshed tears.I
This cruel twist of fate
Will go much,
Much,
Longer.

The ghost of her past friends
Spread, afar
And the warmth it had brought
As she fell for the lies
A telltale sign of their betrayal
She longed for it
She longs in vain
For she knows they will never really come again.
