Y/N groaned as she started to wake up. She looked around to see her in her bed at home in Heaven. She turned her head to see Angel, asleep and holding her hand close to him. She was a bit caught off guard since he was a demon in Heaven. But she was happy to see him regardless.

She gently cupped his cheek, slightly waking him. When he saw she was awake, his eyes jolted open.

“Y/N. I’m so glad you’re okay,” he said, standing up.

“Yeah. But what happened? And how are you in Heaven?” she wondered.

“After you blacked out, I tried to get a couple of angels to help you when this bright light shone. It was the big guy and He put Adam in his place. Then He decided that you would be assigned what Adam said you would do originally then He let me come here since you fell in love with me and He healed you,” Angel explained.

Y/N smiled and said, “At least He gets it.”

“And now you actually get to do what Adam wanted as a cover to get to you to go to Hell. Which I would hope means you visit,” he added, a pleading look in his eyes.

“Of course I would,” she told him, caressed his cheek, then continued, “Even if I wasn’t given this position, I wouldn’t stop to find a way to do so. I promise you that.”

He smiled and cupped the hand on his cheek before kissing her palm.

“I also know this. I now have an actual reason to be redeemed now,” Angel said.

Y/N smiled before gently pulling him to her and kissing him. He eagerly returned it and when they parted, she scooted over and urged him in the bed. He obeyed and they cuddled while twiddling with each other’s fingers.

“And when you get redeemed, I’ll make sure you can come with me to visit the others as well,” Y/N told him.

“I appreciate that. But it’s more ‘if’ I get redeemed,” he responded.

“No. I have faith you will,” she stated then added, “Just make sure you bring Nuggy with you.”

Angel chuckled and promised, “I will. That’s for damn sure.”

They continued cuddling until they heard a knock at the door. He kissed her forehead before getting up and answering it. He was thrown off to see Emily.

“Hi! I’m Emily! Is Y/N here?” she asked nicely.

“Uh…yeah,” he answered then let her in.

Emily went up to the bed and sat on it.

“How are you feeling?” Emily asked.

“Good. Just tired,” Y/N answered.

“That’s good,” Emily nodded then informed, “I actually came to talk to both of you. The Heavenly court want to speak with you about what the Heavenly Father decreed.”

“You mean there’s more than what the Big Guy already said?” Angel asked.

“Yeah. They’re meeting at two, so you’ll need to prepare. But from what I’ve heard, it means major good news. Especially for the two of you,” Emily answered.

Angel and Y/N looked at each other before smiling and blushing.

“Well, I’ll leave you two lovebirds alone again. Just prepare for some really good news,” she said, heading for the door.

She then left and the couple resumed what they were doing earlier.

“You think the Big Guy’s gonna allow souls in Hell to be redeemed?” Angel asked.

“I hope so. I’ll even throw a portal for Charlie and the others to see,” Y/N said.

“Sounds like a plan,” Angel responded then added, “I love you.”

“I love you too,” she replied.

And they stayed that way until one and got ready then headed out.
