He brought her a little ways from the hotel before fully facing her.

“I hope this isn’t goodbye,” he told her.

She caressed his cheek then said, “I promise it won’t be. I’ll find a way to visit.”

Angel nodded with a small smile, but she could see the tears brimming his eyes. She pulled him down for a hug, which he returned while breathing her in.

“I’ll still miss you like hell,” Angel replied.

“I’ll miss you too,” Y/N replied.

“Know that I’m forever grateful for everything you’ve done for me,” he added.

“It’s the same with you,” she said.

They then parted enough to kiss. It lasted for a bit before they eventually had to part. He could see there was a slight bit of fear in her eyes from how they could make it work, but he simply smiled and caressed her cheek before singing.

During the parts he didn’t sing, they hugged each other close, her head in his chest fluff, just swaying side to side. When he was done, she pecked his lips before gazing into his mismatched eyes.

“I love you, Anthony ‘Angel’ Dust,” Y/N stated.

“I love you too, Y/N L/N,” Angel returned.

They then slowly parted before a portal for Heaven appeared. She was about to step through when she looked back at Angel, who gave her a sad smile. She did the same before officially stepping in and the portal closed.
