"What's my contact name on your phone?"

Chanmi laughed, looking up as Eric entered the library, their only safe "date" place now, and even there she felt unsafe. She worried that someone might catch them at any moment, and then she'd lose him for good.

"It's a crown and heart emoji," she answered. "Why?"

"We have to prepare," he said, sitting on the floor beside her. "If my parents find out, they'll probably send you away. Do they have your number?"

She shook her hand, playing with the ring on her finger. "We communicate through emails."

"Good. Anyway, our contact names for each other can't be obvious. A crown is obvious. Instead, call me... something else..." he said, trailing off.

"What's my name on your phone?" she asked curiously.

He didn't say anything, but even in the moonlight, she could tell he was blushing.

"What is it?" she asked again, suddenly very curious. She reached into his pocket and he squeaked in protest, starting to crawl away. "Why won't you let me see?" she complained, tackling him to the ground and taking his phone. She opened it, scrolling through his contacts until she got to one called "mimi❤️".

Chanmi held out the phone to him, displaying her contact name. "This? Why?"

Eric sat up, avoiding eye contact with her. "Chanmi... Mimi... it just makes sense," he mumbled.

She couldn't help laughing, he looked so cute and flustered. "Your contact name for me is obvious too," she pointed out, placing the phone in his palm. "What do you plan on changing it to?"

"Hm, I honestly have no idea," he said, pouting at her. "I thought you'd come up with the ideas."

Chanmi sighed, leaning against him. "Give it to me," she said after a moment, and he handed over his phone. She typed new names into both of their contact names and then gave him back his phone.

"The son?" he asked, raising his eyebrows at her. "What does that have to do with you?"

"Eric Sohn, Eric Son, Chanmi Sohn, Chanmi Son," she said, winking at him. "It'll be my name too someday, right?" she teased.

He grinned, placing a kiss on her forehead. "Alright. What's mine on your phone?"

"Mimi," she said, holding it up to show him. "I think that's kinda cute."

"Just like you," he commented, ruffling her hair before casually throwing his hand over her shoulders.

"You're quite the flirt, aren't you?" she teased, curling into his side.

"Only to you."

"Not true," she said playfully. "I saw the picture of you holding hands with Dayeong," she said, enjoying the way his ears tinted pink as he became flustered. He chewed on his lower lip, slowly meeting her gaze.

"Chanmi..."

"I'm just teasing!" she laughed, shoving him playfully. "Gosh, do I look like I'd get jealous over something like that?"

Eric stared at her for a long moment, actually considering the question before he muttered, "maybe."

"Maybe," she admitted. "Maybe I am a little jealous. But I trust you. I wouldn't seriously question you," she assured him, putting her head on his shoulder and closing her eyes. "I miss you," she said after a moment. "I liked working for you way better."

He chuckled. "Are the new recruits giving you a hard time? Tell me about them."

"Their names are Hyunjun and Sunwoo. And no, they're not giving me a hard time. They just... have a lot more energy than I do," she admitted, laughing. "They're so hyper, so eager to learn. It's kind of cute, really. They're doing really well too. They're both super talented and they work well together. I think they'll end up being added to your larger team of guards. Hyunjun was actually there at the airport last time. He's almost ready to start working full time, and that was his first 'field day.' Sunwoo started more recently, but he catches on so quickly that I think he'll be ready soon too."

"Are you having fun teaching them?" Eric murmured, his voice sleepy as he ran his fingers through her hair.

"Surprisingly, I am," she admitted. "Maybe I should retire as your guard and just be a teacher."

"Maybe you should," he agreed. "Though it would be great if you could wait to do that after we get married. But no pressure. If you want to, go for it."

"I don't know," she wondered aloud. "Honestly, I'm still deciding. We'll see."

"You know I'll support you in whatever you decide, right?" he said, kissing her forehead and leaning away so that he could meet her eyes. The intensity in his gaze gave her the idea that he wasn't just talking about her career.

"I know," she whispered. "I know."
