Chapter 46
Angela
"Bryan!" I yelled from across the room. He was in my house at the wrong time. I didn't invite him, nor was he welcomed. "What the fuck are you doing here?!"
"You are not getting married!" He yelled as if it was supposed to be a demand.
I couldn't believe this motherfucker burst in here and ruined a moment for Randall and Dion. The mood changed dramatically, but it usually does when Bryan enters a room. Randall quickly slipped the ring on Dion's finger as I walked over to Bryan with Michael standing close behind me.
"You don't have a say as to what I do anymore, Bryan. And what you WON'T do is come into my home and interrupt whatever is going on in here! You were not invited and not welcomed!"
"This is a family function is it not!" Bryan uttered looking around.
"Yes!" Vicki yelled walking from the other side of the room. "But last time I checked Father, you disowned every last one of us, therefore YOU have no family here!"
Bryan huffed looking back and forth between Vicki and I. "I am still your Father!"
"Funny? That's not what you said when you kicked me out!" Vicki snapped.
"And that's certainly not what you said to me either!" Randall chimed in. I looked at my children standing up for themselves and standing up to Bryan.
"WE HAVE NO FATHER! A Real Father wouldn't disown their children - All 4 of us." Mari added as she walked over and joined the group.
Bryan scoffed at Mari, looking as if she was crazy.
"4?" He laughed and held his chest. "Just as stupid as I thought. There are only 3 of you. Sounds like your Mother has been telling you stories again." He looked at me.
"Stories, Bryan?" I asked. He was playing me for stupid. "Seriously?"
"Angela, have you taken your meds lately? You're having hallucinations again. And now you're getting the kids to believe you. I've spawned only 3 children." He smiled and looked at all of us.
He turned and smiled at everyone as they watched our drama unfold. He loved being the center of attention. I looked around and people were shocked and dismayed by the display of Bryan's behavior.
"I'm NOT stupid nor am I hallucinating, Bryan," As I stepped forward smiling slyly. "But you may be."
He chuckled, "What are you talking about? Are you delusional?"
"Far from it, Bryan. Far from it."
"Is that so? Why do you say that?"
"Look behind you." I said, smiling from ear to ear. The smile on Bryan's face began to disappear as he stared at me.
I narrowed my eyes, glaring at him as I tilted my head. "What's the matter, Bryan?"
He tightened his lips and pointed his finger at me, Michael stepped closer and I quickly grabbed his hand. I wanted Bryan to experience this and I wanted to see all of it. As Bryan slowly turned his head, Bryan David walked forward through the crowd heading straight for him. Bryan's eyes bulged out as he came face to face with his doppelganger.
Amanda walked behind Bryan David and confronted Bryan. Bryan stepped back not expecting to see both of them ever again.
"YOU!" Bryan pointed at Amanda. "How could you! YOU SIGNED AN AGREEMENT!"
"You're right, I did." She said calmly. "But HE didn't!" She looked at Bryan David looking back at Bryan with such anger, he looked like he wanted to mutilate him.
"How could you, is the question I should be asking you?!" Bryan David said, towering over Bryan. "I am the reason everyone is here. I made sure to keep meticulous tabs on everyone for this exact moment."
"Why? For Money!?" Bryan shouted. "I've given your Mother plenty of money for years!"
"NO! Revenge." Bryan David uttered. "You paid off my mother and threw me away as if I was a piece of trash. You disowned your oldest daughter because she wanted to marry for love and you wanted money." He said pointing at Vicki. "You forced Randall to marry for money, when deep down he knew he could never marry for love, until now!" He snapped.
I was having a proud Mother moment. Amanda and I held each other as we watched everything come to fruition. I was so proud to have found Bryan David and have my children happy. That's all I ever wanted.
"And what about Mari, I didn't force her to marry!" Bryan said, still trying to justify his actions.
"No, you didn't. Only because the groom was still in love with Randall." Bryan David said pointing to Jeffrey. "But you forced her to play a great hand in poker by exposing the REAL you by telling your secrets, lies and deceptions in a very well known story," Bryan David held up a book and looked at Mari smiling. "I just helped her with information to keep the story honest and true."
"So it was you who sent the pictures?!" Mari gasped. Mari had told the truth, she wasn't the one who leaked information to the press, it was Bryan David.
"Yes it was me the entire time."
"Shit, I didn't even catch it. Never would I have guessed it was him!" Vicki mentioned.
"YOU BASTARD! YOU'LL ALWAYS BE A BASTARD! YOU RUINED ME!!"
"NO! YOU DESTROYED YOURSELF! And if I'm a bastard, then I'll be your bastard son who helped show everyone you are NOT the man you claim to be!" Bryan David yelled.
Bryan looked around at everyone looking back at him. He was such an embarrassment and we were done with him. I could see his anger had built up and he was ready to lash out. He turned and his eyes landed on me.
"YOU BITCH! I SHOULD HAVE NEVER MARRIED YOU!" Bryan yelled as he charged towards me.
Michael stepped up and his right hand connected with Bryan's left cheek, knocking him the fuck out. "I'm sorry." He said, looking at me. I went to him and held his hand as he winced in pain. He had made a direct hit.
"There is nothing for you to be sorry about."
"I was just tired of him attacking you and this family. I was tired of it." He exclaimed.
"We all were, Brah." Randall said. "Thank you for stepping in."
"Yes, thank you Michael." Mari said.
"Well, we can't let this asshole stay on the floor and ruin this night anymore than he already has, so I'll call Spencer to have him collected." I grabbed my phone while Michael went to ice his hand.
"Sorry everyone for the interruption," Mari said as she tried to get everyone back in the spirit of the moment. "You know us Worthington's - we know how to have fun and drama all in one night!" She laughed with Vicki and Jacobi joining in trying to make light of the situation.
"Spencer, you need to come along with a few staff members and collect Mr. Worthington immediately." I instructed him over the phone.
"Yes Ma'am. I will be there shortly." He disconnected and I returned to Michael.
"How's your hand?" I saw he'd wrapped it with an ice pack and a gauze bandage.
"It'll be fine. How are you?" He caressed my face gently, gazing into my eyes and smiling. I held his hand against my face, closed my eyes and enveloped his warm touch.
"I'm having a wonderful time." I chuckled and leaned against him as he wrapped his arms around me. He kissed the top of my head and held me tight. We stood in the kitchen enjoying each other's embrace before Vicki came to tell us Spencer had arrived.
Spencer came along with 4 staff members to pick Bryan up, carrying him to an awaiting car. After he'd left the premises, everything started to normalize and the atmosphere started to relax.
However, Jeffrey was still waiting for Randall.

Randall
The dinner was more eventful than I had expected with the arrival of Father and Jeffrey. After Michael put Father to sleep, it was time for me to confront Jeffrey. Everyone was having a great time, with a shit show to enjoy. A few people were walking and talking, enjoying their dessert as the night went on.
"Randall," Jeffrey called out to me as I stood with Dion. "Can I speak to you privately?"
"No, you cannot, Jeffrey. Why are you here anyway?"
"I wanted to explain my actions to you and to apologize." He looked regretful but he's done so much, I'm not sure if I could accept his apology.
"You can apologize, but it won't make up for your actions, Jeffrey." I uttered.
"I'm sorry." He said, stepping toward us. Dion stepped closer to me, lacing his fingers with mine, claiming me directly. "I was hurt you didn't choose me." Tears filled his eyes as he looked at Dion.
I looked at Dion who gazed back at me lovingly. I smiled and caressed Dion's cheek reassuring him I wasn't going anywhere. I looked at Jeffrey who hadn't taken his eyes off of us. "It was hard for me too, but I moved on. You should too." I voiced. I turned, holding Dion's hand pulling him along the way, leaving Jeffrey behind having to accept the consequences of his actions.
Dion and I sat down at the table to finish our dessert; I planted a sweet kiss on his lips, promising more later on; I saw Jeffrey, out of the corner of my eye, turn and leave after finally realizing I had made my choice and I was sticking to it.
"I know I was interrupted and things happened so quickly, I didn't expect the proposal to go as it did." I mentioned. Dion caressed my cheek and grinned.
"It was perfect. Very memorable." He said looking at the ring on his finger. I held his hand and pulled it off and he looked at me. "What are you doing?"
"I was interrupted," I smiled. "Dion Riviera, will you marry me?" I asked again gazing directly into his eyes. Tears started to swell again, just as before.
"Yes, Randall Worthington. I will marry you." He smiled as a lone tear made its way down his cheek as he laughed. I slipped the ring back on his finger and kissed his finger and then his lips. I pressed my forehead against his as we sat together within our own moment.
"I love you, Dion." It felt so good to say it.
"I love you too, Randall."
The engagement party was absolutely outstanding, even with the intrusion of Father and Jeffrey. The crowd thinned out as the night went on, leaving just the family in the Lake House.
"Ok Bro," Bryan David said as he came over, shook my hand and hugged me at the same time. "It was nice being here. And congratulations to you two."
"Good looking out Bro. It's good to have you here. You're leaving?"
"Yeah, I gotta take my Mother home, but I'll be back another time."
"Good, you are always welcome, remember that." I said, shaking his hand again.
"Will do." Bryan David nodded and held out his arm for his Mother to take a hold. I watched them say goodbye to Mother and Michael, who were standing nearest the door saying farewell to those leaving.
"A'ight Randall," Vicki said, stumbling over to Dion and I. I could tell she had a blast, she was tipsy and feeling nice. "Call me if you need some help planning the wedding, okay?"
"I will." I chuckled and looked at Jacobi. "You're driving, right?"
"You know it. She's gonna knock out in the car. So is this one too." He said pointing to Mari who was leaning against the wall.
"Damn, both of them?"
"Yeah, when these two get together, they go head to head."
"You need help getting them to the car? We're about to go home too."
"Sure, if you can get Mari, I'll get Vicki." I nodded and guided Mari towards the door with Dion following behind me.
"Oh my babies, you're leaving?" Mother said as we reached the door.
"Yeah, we're outta here Mother. Jacobi needs to get Vicki and Mari home. And we're heading home as well."
"Oh okay. I'm so glad to have had everyone here. Even the idiot entertainer. Did you have a good time?"
"It was a blast Mrs. Worthington, thank you again for all of this." Jacobi chimed in giving Mother a hug.
"Well I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. Y'all be safe going home, okay."
"Yes Ma'am." Jacobi and Dion replied in unison.
"Yes Mother." I smiled as I passed her.
We helped put Mari in the backseat while Jacobi placed Vicki in the front seat. I waved as they drove off while we walked over to my car. I opened the doors and we both jumped in. As soon as the door closed, I cupped Dion's neck, pulling his lips to mine. I kissed him deeply, something I had been wanting to do all night long. He let out a soft moan, it was music to my ears. He pulled away from me panting.
"Let's go home." I grinned and started the car.
It was time for our own little private after party.
