Chapter 19
Mari
Vicki was coming out of her bedroom when I let myself in; she looked as if her and Jacobi had just finished playing around. Her hair was all over the top of her head, I startled her by opening the door.
"Shit girl," Vicki held her chest, breathing heavily. "I forgot you were staying here."
"Sorry, my bad. But guess what?!" I said excitedly.
"Wassup?" Vicki walked to the kitchen with me following as she grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.
"I found him! I found our brother!" Vicki's eyes grew large, covering her mouth to avoid spitting out the water.
Vicki swallowed hard and wiped her mouth. "Are you serious?"
"Yup, I found him on Facebook."
"The power of the internet, just like Natalie said."
"Oh and it gets better. He knows about us! All of us!"
"Shut up! So his mother wasn't too quiet about telling him his father was, huh?"
"Nope. And he wants to meet us."
"Well damn, for real? When?" she asked. We walked out of the kitchen and sat in the living room. Jacobi walked out of the room with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Oh shit, I forgot Mari was here, I'm sorry." He said, walking back into the room.
"I see y'all was getting busy!" I said winking, sticking my tongue out and smiling.
"Shut up, girl. I gotta get mine in when I can. What about you?"
"What about me?" I answered.
"Who are you getting down with lately?"
"No one you know about." I smiled slyly. Vicki looked at me and twisted her lips and the corners of mouth curled up.
"Mmmm-hmmm. Who is it?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?"
"Yes, I would! Are you still hooking up with Michael?"
"No. That was a one time deal. Don't worry about it. I have someone fulfilling all of my needs."
"Keeping him on the DL, I feel you. Does he know you're a Worthington?"
"No." I answered honestly. I hardly ever like to tell anyone that I'm a Worthington as it comes with a stigma that I can't seem to shake.
"Good. The less he knows, the better." Tell me about it. I don't want people to associate me with the scandals that follow Father.
"So do you think we should contact him?" I wanted to reach out to him and figured Vicki would like to know our brother as well.
"Sure, why not? What would it hurt?" She shrugged. "Are you going to tell Randall?"
I had to think about it, would I tell Randall? How would he react to knowing that not only Father cheated on Mother but while she was pregnant with him. "I don't know about that one yet. I think I want to take one step at a time."
"I understand that. Randall probably wouldn't even know how to handle it or he wouldn't believe it."
"True. He is so like Father in so many ways."
"More than you know." She said under her breath.
"What do you mean?" Surprise came across her face, she didn't expect me to hear her.
"Huh?"
"What did you mean when you said more than I know?"
"I don't think Randall is faithful in his marriage. As a matter of fact, I don't think he ever was."
"Really? What makes you say that?" I asked.
"Randall was deeply in love with someone that he kept a secret. I never got the chance to find out who, but when Father arranged his marriage to Marianna, he took it hard."
"Really? Wow. I didn't know."
"Well that's because you were too busy with school to pay attention. Randall was devastated."
"Father didn't approve of the person he wanted Randall to marry?"
"I guess they didn't fit into Father's category of eligible partners for his children. Randall didn't speak to Father for days."
"Wow, I must have been so busy not to notice Randall and Father not talking. I've never known them to not agree."
"I think you were just busy with your own life until Father got involved in it."
"Yeah, and then my eyes opened." My phone started buzzing; I grabbed it out of my bag - It was Janelle. "Hello?"
"Girl, you have gone viral!" she screamed over the phone.
"Wait, what?" I sat up making sure I heard her correctly.
"Yes girl, check the app! Your book is blowing up with the last chapter putting it over the top. You have over 40k views on the last chapter alone!" I pulled out my laptop and opened up the site. Janelle was right, people were talking about the last chapter so much, the entire story was trending.
"What's going on?" Vicki asked as I smiled.
"Holy shit! Janelle, it's trending!"
"I know! You know what this means right?"
"What?"
"Once the views reach 50K, they are going to offer you a publication of the book." Janelle stated.
"Really? Oh my goodness." I covered my mouth as I couldn't believe the success of the book.
"I'll call you tomorrow. I just wanted you to know. Congratulations!"
"Thank you. Talk to you tomorrow." I smiled the biggest smile as I disconnected. Vicki looked at me as if I had some serious issues.
"What is going on with you?"
"That was Janelle, my editor. My story has gone viral."
"Congratulations Sis! It was the mention of our brother that did it huh?"
"Yep. I didn't mention that he was found, but I did say that another sibling may have been born. I left it off as a cliffhanger."
"I'm glad Father is out of town otherwise he probably would have come over here."
"You think?" I closed my laptop and packed it away in my bag.
"I'm sure he thinks you are behind the story, he just can't prove it."
"Well, I ain't telling him." I got off the couch and grabbed my overnight bag. "I'm heading to the shower." Vicki waved at me as I walked to the bathroom.
I was happy Father wasn't in town because knowing him, if he didn't show up here like Vicki said, I'm sure he would be waiting for me when I got home.

Marianna
It had been a few days since I had spoken to Jaidi about finding out who Jeffrey Abrams was. Randall had left earlier, stating he had to work on a case for his father. I didn't believe him at all but we haven't really been on speaking terms since our last blow up and he stormed out of the room. I had planned on filming more content with the kids for our channel, but I had a few videos that hadn't been edited yet, so I figured I would upload them when I got out of the shower. Just as I was heading for the bathroom, Jaidi called.
"Hey girl, wassup?"
"I got some news for you. Are you sitting down?"
"I am now." I took a seat in my vanity in the bathroom.
"Ok, so Jeffrey Abrams is the son of some rich family and yes he is engaged to be married to Randall's sister."
"Ok, tell me something that I don't know." I was getting irritated, I could have told her that information.
"Ok. How about, he's gay." Jaidi blurted.
"What?!" I yelped.
"You heard me bitch, he's gay."
"How did you find out this information?"
"I'm looking at him right now."
"Wait, what? Where are you?"
"I'm at a club at the moment, on the northside of Chicago. He's here with a few other fabulous looking men as well."
"Just because he is with a few gay men, does not mean he is gay."
"Birds of a feather," she started. "You already know the rest."
"Still, that doesn't mean," I started and Jaidi interrupted.
"Check your phone." I looked at my phone, Jaidi sent me a video. It was of a gorgeous man giving another man a very provocative lap dance. Jeffrey barely had on anything; a pair of hot pants, thigh high boots and a leather harness vest.
"So, that's him?"
"Yup. Apparently, he's been gay for quite some time. You think that's why Randall doesn't want his sister to marry him?"
"Maybe. I don't know. Could be, but I'm not sure. How did you find him?"
"I have my ways. The less you know, the better." she laughed. "So what now?"
"You're at a gay club?"
"Yes."
"Why?" I asked.
"Besides the fact that gay people are the funniest people to be around, I myself am gay." She retorted.
"Since when?"
"Since I came out of the closet last year."
"Where have I been?" I asked not knowing my sister was a lesbian.
"Married with children." Jaidi answered, making me feel as though I need to spend more time with my sister. "So what are you going to do?"
"I don't know." I honestly didn't know.
I wanted to believe with Jeffrey being gay, that was the reason Randall got upset. Not with the fact that Jeffrey is gay but with the fact, his father wanted his younger sister to marry him, knowing he was gay. Everyone, who was anyone, would know that the relationship was planned for the benefit of the family and there was no love between them whatsoever. I'm sure he would want someone better for his sister or someone who would be at least the slightest bit interested in her.
"Where's Randall?" She asked.
"Gone. He's working on a case for his father since he's out of town."
"Or so he says," Jaidi said quickly. "I'm gonna see if I can get Jeffrey to open up."
"What do you mean, open up?"
"I'm going to join their party and see what I can learn about him. I'll call you tomorrow." Jaidi disconnected leaving me looking directly at the phone.

Randall
I decided to take a break from preparing my notes for the case Father gave me for a friend of his. I needed to get out of the office for a while, so I went to a bar which was located nearest to the office building. I found a table in the corner away from everyone as I sat and watched the patrons of the bar come and go. I worked my way on to drink number 2 when someone I noticed strolled through the door.
It was Jeffrey's friend, the Beautiful Man with the long flowing hair. I watched him glide across the floor, finding him a seat at the corner of the bar. He was alone. He intrigued me so much, I wanted to know more about him. I scrolled on my phone, contemplating should I call Jeffrey or not. Suddenly, a waitress came over with a glass of Hennessy, placing it on the table.
"This was sent by the gentleman at the bar." She said smiling. I looked over and there he was holding up his drink, giving me a virtual clinking of the glasses.
I nodded in approval and took a sip. "Thank you. Could you please ask him if he would like to join me?" The waitress nodded and left to go and speak with him.
He looked over in my direction, smiled, grabbed his drink and left the barstool walking over to my table.
"We meet again." He said approaching the table.
"Yes, indeed we did. Please sit." I motioned to the empty chair on the opposite of the table. He sat down, keeping his eyes on me.
"I don't believe we were ever properly introduced. My name is Fabian Devereaux." He said, holding out his hand.
I took his hand and introduced myself, "Nice to meet you Fabian. I'm Randall Worthington."
"Nice to meet you as well." He kept his eyes on me while he took a sip of his drink. "So what brings you here, around this time of night?"
"Work actually. I needed to get away for a moment."
"Really? What is it that you do?"
"I'm a lawyer." Fabian sat back and crossed his arms in front of him. He was one of the most beautiful men I had ever met. His hair flowed straight down his back; the way he looked at me was so sexy and tempting. He was very easy on the eyes.
"Sexy and smart. You're the entire package, huh?"
"I guess you can say that." I answered, finishing my drink.
"So how long are you going to work tonight?" Fabian asked, finishing his drink and waving the waitress over to order another.
"Well that depends." The alcohol filled my body allowing my courage to build on my curiosity.
"On what?" Fabian waited for my answer. I looked at him; he blushed and shook his head, breaking out eye contact. The waitress returned with two glasses of Hennessey.
"You." I said without hesitation, throwing Fabian off center. He smiled, letting me know he was definitely interested.
"Oh really? Well what do you want to do?" He asked, sipping his drink.
I gulped my drink in one full swallow, leaving the glass entirely empty. "You." I stated boldly.
Fabian's eyebrows raised as he tilted his head, blinking slowly. He wasn't sure what he heard, but he had heard me clearly and correctly.
"Ok," he leaned in towards me. "Where do you want to have me?" He whispered.
"In my office," I looked at him confidently. "On my desk."
