On a beautiful summer afternoon here in Happy tree Village, a F/c skunk named Y/n L/n is very well known in this entire town as Splendid's true number one fan and she is very proud of it too. Ever since Sniffles let her borrow one of his comic books of Splendid in his heroics adventures, she eventually became obsessed with the flying squirrel superhero and became an official fangirl.

She began saving up her money on buying Splendid comic book and merchandise and when went on a trip to the local convention center with her best friend, Sniffles, she was given a signature on her favorite comic book by the superhero himself, Splendid that became her most prized possession that she hung it up on a wall in a picture frame in her room with the signature written in black marker.

She later then developed a crush on Splendid after meeting him for the first time at the convention center and after he signed her favorite comic book on that day, but it just the feeling of true love and not the thoughts and feelings that gives her the mindset of a Yandere that kills her victims in cold blood whenever some girls tries to flirt with Splendid.

Overtime, she has slowly becoming more desperate to be saved by Splendid from any danger that might happen to her like almost getting killing by Fliqpy by a knife stab or him throwing a grenade at her or nearly falling to her death from a very high point like a tall building or a steep cliff. So all she needed to do is find a way to get Splendid's attention without sending everyone else in danger like Flipping Out Flippy by using loud noise like an air horns or popping a balloon or anything that is involved with being in the war or creating some kind of disaster like faking her own death or being ended up in a burning building that she started.

Y/n completely understands about Splendid trying live among the rest of the residents in Happy Tree Village like baking his family's famous banana bread, doing laundry and even going out shopping for groceries at the local supermarket and with everyone sending out cries for help that only Splendid could be able hear with his super hearing from his squirrel ears. Hopefully one day she will have the opportunity to tell her feelings towards Splendid and hoping he has the same feelings for her as well.

Today she has to go to work at the Daily Acorn, the place where they make the town's local newspaper for everyone to read what's been going on lately here in Happy Tree Village and Y/n works there as the photographer to take pictures for the newspaper and whenever there's a story involved, she has to go with one of the reporters that takes notes for the newspaper.

She also knew that Splendid actually works at the Daily Acorn as a reporter because it wasn't hard for her to see through his disguise to blend in with the public. All that Splendid wears over his red mask and cape are nothing but a pair of glasses, a fedora and a red tie, but Y/n doesn't even bother trying to expose his secret identity to everyone as she kept that secret to himself.

Right now, Splendid is writing a story about the grand opening of a new grocery store opening up at the downtown section in Happy Tree Village while Y/n is busy installing the parts on her camera. So far, everything is going good until Lumpy was proof reading the paper and found out that the paper is only missing one thing, a photo.

Lumpy: Hey! Where's the photo shot of the store at? (Points at the dotted-line box) It should be right here in the paper.

Splendid: (Shrugs) Don't look at me, Lumpy. I'm a reporter not a photographer.

Lumpy: Well, we can't publish a newspaper without a picture. I need you to go out there and write down a few more things about the new grocery store and bring a professional photographer with you to get some pictures.

Splendid: *Sigh* Alright then.

As Splendid grabs his notepad and his No.2 pencil, Lumpy looks around the office for the perfect photographer to assist Splendid on getting the pictures of the new grocery store for the newspaper, but before he was about to choose Mole to do the photography job, Sniffles stopped him just in the nick of time.

Sniffles: Not so fast, Lumpy! You remember the last time you hired Mole to be the photographer, he's so blind that all the photos that he had taken are nothing, but a dime a dozen. I suggest you let Y/n take the photography job, she has the best kind of experience as a photographer since high school and I know that she can take a bunch a photos that are worth of fortune.

Lumpy: How would you know?

Sniffles: Because she's my best friend, ya dunderhead.

Lumpy: Oh, right. Ok, Y/n you got the job. Go with him to the store and get some photos for the paper.

Y/n was surprised that she is going with Splendid to the new grocery store to get some shots of the newspaper as she tried her best to hide her blush when riding on the elevator with Splendid.

Splendid: Hey. You feeling alright?

Y/n: Huh? Oh! Yeah I'm ok. Just nervous about the job we have to do. I just hope nothing bad happens at the store and I just hate it when Splendid has to save everyone that are in danger whenever he is enjoying his free time like making his banana bread, do laundry or just reading a good book.

Splendid: You really cared about him, don't you?

Y/n: What?! How would you know?! It's not like I have a huge crush on him, It's just that I wanted to get his attention to express my feelings towards him. I would try anything to get his attention, but I didn't want to create a scene where I am in danger like getting trapped in a burning building or even a fake kidnapping like a damsel in distress.

Splendid: I see. You just want to tell that you are in love with him and I know he can understand what you meant by getting his attention in the best way possible.

Y/n: Are you sure? How would you know that Splendid would accept my feelings when I tried to think something to get his attention without causing any problems?

Splendid: Well, between you and me, I already knew that you can see through my disguise, Y/n.

Y/n: What?! How did you know that I knew your secret identity and even after I kept it a secret from everyone.

Splendid: Duh. I have super hearing. I can hear everyone in this entire town. But, I want to tell you something, Y/n.

Y/n: Really? What do you have in mind?

Splendid: Ever since that I signed your favorite comic book at the convention center and seeing you jumping in pure joy after I signed it, I started having a crush on you as well. I've been hearing that you were so desperate to get my attention and I can understand that you don't want to cause any form of destruction of whatever plan you can come up with, but you are not like Lumpy with his own brand of stupidity as he thinks that he mixes it all is to keeps us on our toes.

Y/n: Really? You really mean that to me?

Splendid: Of course I do. I sometimes hide myself behind the trees or in the bushes to watch you enjoy doing your favorite activities and seeing you dusting the same comic book that I signed you for on hanging on a wall in a picture frame in your room along with all of my trademark merchandise has really made my heart smile.

Y/n: *Sniff* Thank you for understanding my love for you, Splendid. That really made my day.

Then without thinking, Splendid gave a quick peck on Y/n's cheek as a token of his love and appreciation to his number one fan, which made Y/n blush more redder than a ripe tomato.

Splendid: I can tell.

Y/n: Does that mean that we are-

Splendid: In a relationship now? Yeah, I guess you can say that. Well, we better get going to the grocery store and get those photos if we want to sell of some good papers to the people of Happy Tree Friends and I was happy to partner up with you instead of Mole after he nearly exposed my secret identity to the entire world.

Y/n: Yeah, but you can't blame him for being so darn blind. It's Lumpy that should be blame, I mean his stupidity is the real reason that almost got your secret identity exposed.

Splendid: Yeah, maybe you're right. No wonder why everybody hates him so much! They should run him out of town before everything gets even more worse.

Y/n: Yeah. I think you should vaporize him with your heat vision or freeze him with your ice breath while smashing him with your powerful strength. After all, I'm Your Biggest Fan.

Splendid: Ain't that the truth, sweetheart~!
