"Miss Y/L/N, a moment?"

Y/N stops in her tracks and rolls her eyes before turning around to face her teacher. Of course she had to be the last to leave the class, only for him to call her and conveniently be left alone. Just Y/N things.

"Yes, Mr. Kim?"

As Namjoon smiles at her, his dimples appear, catching Y/N's eyes once again. To her, Namjoon is an excellent teacher and a nice guy who has been nothing but kind to her to which she's thankful for.

Still, he's been giving her strange vibes, as if he's been fancying her. Every time she ran into him inside and outside school, he's been so casual. Too casual like they're friends.

Sometimes, it's like Namjoon is actually flirting with her with his eloquent speech, deep voice, gentleman qualities, suave intelligence and adorable clumsiness and personality. He's been giving her way more attention than the other students, it is stupid not to understand his intention.

Six years of age gap might be fine. Except Y/N is a minor. Something a teacher should know already before making moves on his student.

If age is just a number, in this situation, jail is just a place, too. Fitting.

"So, I've been wondering... I bought two tickets for a movie to watch with a friend of mine, but he suddenly got an urgent business to attend to, and... Are you free this Saturday?"

"Oop-" Y/N screams in her head. "Is he asking me out now? For real? No, you better be for fake!"

She composes herself. "Uh, why? You can ask any one of your teacher friends or other friends...?"

Namjoon sighs deeply before prepping himself and finally meeting her eyes. "It's because... I'm... Y/N, I... I like you... for a long time and I just wanted to spend a day together like normal people. A guy and a girl."

Y/N's jaw drops. She's seen it coming but it doesn't feel real to her. Her teacher confessing to her? She couldn't help but let out siren noises. "Wee woo wee woo wee woo-"

Namjoon widens his eyes. "Wha-?"

"Sir, I'm a minor in case you haven't realized. With all due respect, you're a great teacher and all, but if you don't use your 'intelligence', you finna go to jail."

"I- I-" Utterly shocked, Namjoon couldn't utter a sentence.

"I have nothing against you, Mr. Kim. Just... I'm rejecting your feelings and wish to stay as your student, nothing more. Let this be a wake up call. I know you'll make the right choice."

Y/N bows and spins on her heels, strutting out of the classroom, leaving Namjoon with his thoughts.

Thus, Namjoon snaps out of it because what the heck? Only immoral person would do something he did in his place. He pulls himself together and starts acting like a responsible adult, keeping his relationship with Y/N strictly professional.

Y/N graduates with high grades and gets into a good university thanks to Namjoon's help in her studies. He has become a true teacher and shares her happiness and many others', motivating himself to become a better teacher.
