twilight

I haven’t died

just compromised

and allowed myself to grow old

my mind screams

by any means

light a fire, before your heart grows cold

the golden years

my biggest fear

I am not ready to retire

my mind’s alive

my body willing to try

I have a lot to live, before I expire

I will not concede

I will succeed

I won’t go without a fight
