We all sit down for dinner. I was sitting next to belly across from Jeremiah. "Oh I've got soothing for you girls!" Susannah stood up happily. "That is what you had to stop by the country club for" Laurel said. She handed Belly and I a piece of paper. "You too have come to the age to be debutantes" Susannah said. "Debu what?" I ask. Susannah explained to us while Laurel objected every once in awhile. "So you think belly and Jenna can be taught manners!" Steven laughed. "Oh shut the fuck up asshole" I say. "I don't think this is really belly or Jenna's thing" Laurel said. "Plus they need dates and I went last year not going again this year" Conrad said "aww you think I want you to be my date no thanks loser" I say rolling my eyes. "So what do you girls think?" Susannah asked. "I think it sounds like...fun" I say. It didn't sound like torcher. Plus I could tell it meant a lot to Susannah. "So your gonna be a debutante?!" Susannah asked excitedly. I nodded.
