Sakura pov

Something is not right here, for some reason I feel like something bad is going to happen within minutes, but that could be just my imagination, but I also trust my instinct. So to be safe I held my gaurd up, ignoring the two boys that began to argue randomly, and the old geezer that snarled at the background. Kakashi-sensei was thankful the only one quiet, and when I looked at him, he had given me a look that said "what's the matter", but I only shook my head and and continued staring forward. We walked and walked, and I felt a vein pop on my forehead and my twitched from annoyence, feeling the urge to punch them right now!

"Face it loser, you won't become Hokage, because you are too weak and too dumb to be one."

"Why you duckbutt bastard! I'll wipe that smirk off ya face after this!"

"*Twitch*... Sensei, if those boys don't shut up this instant, I'm going to burn them."

"... *Sigh*, let's see what I can-"

Kakashi-sensei stopped, and I looked at him confusionly, following where he's glaring at, until my eyes narrowed, there was a puddle of water in front of us, which is suspicious because it hadn't rained in days.

' It could be an ambush, stay on your gaurd honey.'

' I think it is, I smell poison.'

My eyes never left the puddle, only glaring at it as we pass it by, and only tensed when the scent grew stronger. But then it happened, the puddle had turned into two Mist enemies and attacked sensei, trapping him in the chain-like knives that definitely smelled like poison. They smirked evilly that made me trembled in fear and anger, teeth clenching and fists tightening around my bags' straps, feeling the urge to use my fire magic right now, because I don't feel like using chakra.

' Then use it silly, show them the power of the dragon slayer!'

I smirked at the idea of burning those punks to hell, if they don't let go of MY sensei this instant, they will feel my dragon power. None of them seem to notice how I smirked, and I listened what one of the enemy said.

"Well well well, Kakashi Hatake the Copy Cat Ninja, we're disappointed that we caught you off gaurd so easily."

"The Demon Brothers, what do you want!?"

"Hehehe, we just want... the bridge builder."

My eyes winded in shock, and so did the rest of Team 7 and Tanzuna, but they quickly narrowed again as they suddenly looked at him, making me stand protectively in front of them and growled like a animal before speaking at them.

"Over my dead body, you'll have to go through me first, and, if you don't let go of my sensei this instant, you can kiss your sorry ass goodbye!"

"Hehehehehehe, this girl has some balls to speak bravely like that, especially towards her enemy. I like her."

"Too bad we have to kill her, along with her team and the bridge builder."

With that, both Demon Brothers as hard as they can, cutting him into a tiny pieces, and I stared at the scene in shock, plus I wanted to scream, but refrain myself. But then, I felt anger, and both my magic and chakra was spiking like crazy before glaring hatefully at them. I could feel my teammates' eyes on me, but I didn't look at them, I was only concentrating on the Demon Brothers. I snarled at them.

"Oh you both are so dead."

They only smirked, but then turned their heads towards Naruto who was shaking badly what we had just witness, and one of them suddenly ran towards him and threw his chain-like knives at him. I gasp but acted quickly, I ran towards Naruto, pulled out my kunai and, much to everyone's, except Naruto who was still standing their in fear, surprise, the kunai turned into a flaming kunai. I made it just in time, I used my fire kunai and blocked the poison weapon, missing me and Naruto just an inch.

"... Dragon style: Fire Kunai."

The chain-like knives started melting where my fire kunai touched, and it caused me to smirk at the look one of the Demon Brothers had, shocked, confused, angry and disbelieving. I looked back behind me after the weapon melted and fell to the ground, seeing Naruto was giving me a look like I've grown another head, but I ignored his expression and glared at him, making him squeak, and I dare say, it was rather adorable.

"Naruto, get your head in the game, this is no time for panicking, we still have a client to protect, you big scardy cat!"

That seem to snap him out of his ceaser and pout at me, and I couldn't help it but sweat drop, is he kidding me?! I only scolded at him and turned my head back to my opponent just in time to see him running with another weapon towards Tanzuna, so again I acted quickly and got to Tanzuna before the enemy, and, without any warning, I used another fire magic attack after throwing my flaming kunai knife at him, which he dodged it.

"Fire Dragon FIRE FIST!!"

Normal pov

Sakura's whole fist turned into fire and she had just in time  landed a direct hit into the enemy's stomach, making him cough up a few spits before crashing against a tree and it knocked him out. Just then the other Demon Brother also crashed against the other one, and without warning a branch came out of nowhere and landed hard on his head, knocking him out too, and Sakura's fire kunai turned back to normal. She was about to go fetch it, until someone unexpected appeared, their sensei Kakashi Hatake.

"Wow, that was an interesting battle, I got to say I'm shocked."

"EHHHHH!!? YOU WERE ALIVE THIS WHOLE TIME!!? YOU BASTARD!! WE'VE COULD'VE BEEN KILLED!!"

"And yet here you are, alive and well, not a single scratched in sight. I was about to help, but it looked like you 3 had it all under control, especially you Sakura, good work."

Kakashi then gave his angry students an eye smile before glaring at a still shaken up Tanzuna who Sakura was now trying to calm down.

"Well Tanzuna, I believe you should gave an explanation why were you being targeted by Mist ninjas. Oh and Sakura."

Sakura tensed, knowing full well where this is going, so she hesitantly looked at her sensei, seeing he was gaving her that look whenever they need to explain things. She gulped, waiting for Kakashi to speak, only tensing up more when she also Naruto and Sasuke's eyes on her. She feels so small right now.

"... Yes sensei?"

"You own us an explanation as well."

"Yes sir."

Team 7 listened carefully the problem Tanzuna explained, and Sakura felt sorry for the crappy life they had live in, but Kakashi was still not happy that Tanzuna lied to them and to the Hokage  plus mad for putting his team in danger.

"That's still no reason to lie to us Tanzuna, you paid for a C-Rank mission, but it turns out this is an A-rank mission."

"The Land of Waves is a very poor land, how do you expect us to pay that kind of money if we're being robbed by that man? I thought you would understand my situation, but guess I was wrong."

Seeing this guy lose hope made Naruto and Sakura stare sadly at him, and Kakashi was about to say something, but Sakura interrupted him by yelling at him, making all of the boys and men stare at her in disbelief and shock.

"We are not going to abandon this mission sensei! I refuse to go back to Konoha until this mission is finished!"

"Sakura, we weren't payed to go on a A-rank mission."

"I don't care! No matter what you say, I. Will. Not. Abandon. This. Mission."

Naruto was suddenly on her right, and surprisingly, Sasuke had joined the debate, ganging up on their sensei with determine and challenging eyes.

"Sakura is right, we can't just ignore helpless people that need to be freed. How can we call ourselves ninja if we do that!? We'll be more like cowards than fighters."

"Hn, besides, it would be great experience for us in the future, we'll get stronger by it. Let us continue this mission."

With that Sakura grab both boys hands and nod her head proudly, showing Kakashi that they are not going anywhere, and it made Tanzuna to look at their sensei hopefully, silently praying that he'll say yes. Kakashi was silent for awhile, seeing a perfect image of a true team standing up for the innocent, just like how his old friend would've wanted. Kakashi gave an eye smile and spoke.

"It's decided then, we'll continue this mission, but, we must be careful from now on and never drop our gaurd for a second."

With that Naruto and Sakura cheered along with Tanzuna while Sasuke gave a small smile and shoved his hands into his pockets. Kakashi shook his head and waited for them to finish.

"Damn, did we look badass or what?"

"We sure did Naruto, we sure did."
