"Sakura sweetie! It's time to get up!"

Sakura groaned, but did as Shizuka asked and forced herself to get up, then she looked at her alarm clock, but froze when she saw the time. This made her jump out of bed and with speed put her ninja clothes on, then dashed out of her room and into the kitchen. She quickly took her jam toast bread before she give Shizuka a quick hug and fled out of that house while eating her breakfast.

' Shit shit shit I'm going to be late! Why didn't my alarm go off!?'

' I think you forgot to set it sweetie, you trained very late last night and was too tired to bother.'

' Damnit why!?'

Sakura had dodged every citizen that she almost ran into, then decided to use the roof since going through the villagers were taking too long. She was already out of breath at how fast she was running to where the exam will be held first: The academy. She groaned and panted when she finally made it to the place, and her teammates were waiting for her there. When she finally arrived by her teammates, she bended down a little and panted, trying to catch her breath, ignoring how the boys were looking at her.

"Hey are you alright Sakura?"

"I-I'm... pant pant pant... f-fine. S-sorry I'm late."

"Actually Sakura you're just in time."

"Oh thank Kami."

Sasuke and Naruto watched as Sakura took a few more breaths, then straighten herself and sighed before giving a apology smile. Sakura, after a few more seconds, was the first one to walk inside with the boys behind her, though they were confused why most people were crowded by the door where they should go through. Looking around for a bit, their eyes narrowed when they saw that the sign was wrong, and Sakura immediately knew that it was a genjutsu. Just then a girl got punched in the face by a guy that looked like their age, and that had set Sakura off and immediately began to marched at the direction. Sasuke and Naruto shivered, knowing full well what is going to come, and was ready to prevent her from knocking the guys into next month.

"Hey!"

Everyone's attention jerked at Sakura's direction after she yelled, and a few genins gasped in shock as she pushed them out of her way and walked passed them. The guy who hit the girl blinked in surprise at her action, and the other one who was also blocking the doorway raised an eyebrow as he saw the two boys behind looked ready to interfere if anything goes south. Sakura had glared towards the two boys, and cracked her knuckles while standing next to the girl who got punched.

"Who do you two jerks think you are punching a girl like that hah!? Only rotten punks does that!"

"... Heh, looks like we got ourselves a feisty one here."

"So it would seems. The girl wouldn't get punched if she had listened. This is the 3nd floor. So why don't you-"

"This is the 3nd floor my ass! We know you cast a genjutsu in this room!"

With that Sakura, while the two boys looked surprised along with everyone in the room except Sasuke and Naruto, brought her hands together in a hand sign and yelled out "release". Everyone gasped as the number that once said 3nd floor, change to 2nd floor. Naruto and Sasuke couldn't help it but grin/smirk at the situation, and stood beside her and began to join in.

"Genjutsus won't work on her. Sakura has the sharpest eyes and nose in our squad. She could see and smell it a mile away."

"That's right, even we saw that this place was casted by a genjutsu. So why not get out of our way so we can go do our exams, or you'll be messing with Team 7, believe it."

With that Sakura placed her one fist against her other hand's palm and glared, Sasuke placed both his hands into his pockets and smirked, and Naruto showed his fist at the direction of the two boys and grinned. A pair of white eyes narrowed at the direction of Team 7, and could clearly see the bond among those three. One of the mean boys quickly recovered over their shock and smirked.

"Heh, not only feisty, a genius as well. Okay then, if you want to pass through here, show us what you got!"

With that, the guy was ready to kick Sakura, but Sasuke was quick and copied the guy's movement to block him, though with a blink of an eye, another boy had stopped them. Sakura narrowed her eyes at the boy's speed, and studied him, he had a black bow cut hair, wore green spandex while bandages were wrapped around his hands and arms to the elbows, his headband was tied around his waist, and lastly he had bushy brows.

' Wow, what a strange guy, I can sense he is powerful.'

' Really? You can sense his power?'

' Yes, and it's for another day before I will explain to you Sakura.'

Sakura silently nod her head, but then froze when she saw that the guy who stopped both Sasuke and the other boy's attack was suddenly looking at her. End narrowed her eyes as said boy began to walk at her direction, not liking the serious look he had, but then the boy suddenly smiled he spoke.

"My name is Rock Lee, and I would be honored if you would become my girlfriend, I would protect you with my life."

With that Lee smiled as his teeth shined, and gave her a thumbs up to go with it, and Sakura was confused while End gaped and then gagged big time. Sakura's team stared wide eyes in disbelief while Lee's team, which was the girl who got punched, and the white eye boy, sighed at his bluntness. To say Sakura was speechless, and recovering from the shock, Naruto immediately protested while Sasuke glared.

"H-huh?"

"Please say yes!"

' Sakura, don't you dare answer this-'

"N-no, I don't think so. We just met, I don't think you can just randomly ask a girl out you don't even know. And besides, not to sound rude or anything, but you're not my type, plus that eyebrows of yours are so bushy, who knows what can crawl out of there, maybe you should just go shave it or something."

With that Lee gasped before depressionily leaned onto a wall next to them, and it did made his team shook their heads. End had laughed at the answer she gave to Lee, then announced that it served him right, and didn't regret anything. Naruto, on the other hand, wanted to declare that Sakura was his girlfriend, but know that he will so get hit and abused if he opens his mouth, so he did the smart move and stayed quiet. Sasuke said nothing, but he did smirked at the boy's depression after Sakura insulted his looks, especially his eyebrows, that guy was sure sensitive about it. Just then the boy from Lee's team approached them and spoke.

"Looks like we'll be getting interesting challenges this year."

"... And you are?"

"Neji Huuyga, I was about to ask you the same question."

"Well you can forget about it, we don't give trash like you our na- ugh!"

"Sasuke! That was rude!"

Before Sasuke can finish his sentence, Sakura had pulled on his ear hard that cut him off, and had to listen to his lecture. Neji raised an eyebrow when Naruto gulped and stood a few steps away from Sakura while Sasuke tensed at her harsh tone. Then letting out a sigh, Sakura had let go of Sasuke's ear before focusing on Neji and spoke.

"Excuse his rudeness, he should know better thant to refuse to give his name and insult while the other had given theirs politely. Anyway, my name is Sakura D. Haruno, and these are my teammates, Naruto Uzumaki-"

"Yo!"

"-and Sasuke Uchiha."

"... Hn."

Sasuke placed both his hands into his pockets and sulked while Naruto waved his hands with a big grin on his face. Neji stared at them blankly, before nodding his head, satisfied that Sakura at least had manners while her teammates didn't, even though Naruto did nothing wrong, Neji could tell the difference. After that Sakura smiled before she excused herself while grabbing both of her team's hand and dragged them away. While they did walk away, the two boys that blocked all the genins' path smirked as they hide before they transformed into jonins.

"So that's Kakashi's team huh, looks like this year will be very interesting."

"Heh, I'm rather curious how this will turn out, let's see what these genins got."

With that the two jonins disappeared with a puff of smoke, leaving the other genins that began to take their own route to get to their location. Though, unknown to anyone, one of the team's genin began to follow Team 7 as nobody was looking, not even his teammates noticed his absence.
