The next morning I awoke in The Doctor's arms on the bench. His arm was securely around my upper torso, kind of like how you would hold a teddy bear.
I poked his cheek.

"Wake up big ears!"

He woke up with a fake upset face.

"Wake up billboard head!"

"Watch it Timelord!"

He laughed and pulls me out of the seat.
We run to the TARDIS control room to see where the TARDIS landed.

"It seems like we landed in Washington D.C, April 2nd, 4506."

I squealed excitingly.

I ran to the room where the Doctor kept all of his little costumes.
I found a black futuristic battle suit, black combat boots, and a samurai sword.

Perfect.

I stepped out and he looked at me.

"Why are you wearing that?"

"You never know what you're going to find in the future Doctor."

He scoffed and opened the door and I followed.
Right when I stepped out I heard a gunshot, and on instinct I fell to the dirt.

The Doctor looked at me frantically.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

I looked around and we were surrounded by a group of people. Consisting of mostly adults and very few children.

I looked over at a young child holding the gun, smoke billowing out of the top.

We where in a big field of dying crops.

"DIANE WHY DID YOU PULL THE TRIGGER!!!"

The little girl started to cry.

"I was scared."

I looked over and saw a group of 5 disgusting people with green expired faces...

Zombies.

We traveled to the Apocalypse great.

I pulled my samurai sword out of it's sheath, and ran towards the zombies.

"Kathryn! GET AWAY FROM THEM!"

One grown man held The Doctor by his arms.

I ignored him and sliced one of the zombies heads off.

I jumped up and sliced down one whole zombie in half.

I laughed and flipped backwards, slicing the zombie behind me head off.

I never really knew how I got this skill, I could do this ever since I was younger.

I finished off the last zombie, and wiped a bead of sweat off my forehead and looked behind me. The group stared at me in awe.

The Doctor squirmed out of the guys grip and ran to me.

He tackled me in a hug.

"Wow Kathy how did you learn how to do that?"

"I dunno, as long as I could remember."

He laughed.

"You never cease to amaze me."

I smiled.

"Ahem."

I looked over to see a woman with a long red braid in and a beautifully crafted face that made me kinda jealous.

"I'm Anne. These little things are my children Diane and Derek. They are both twins"

She motioned to two young teens bickering, they both had red hair. Casey had long hair and Derek had his swept to the side. Derek looked over at me.

"Hello there gorgeous."

I laughed.

"Leave her alone Derek you're fourteen!"

Yelled Casey.

The both started to fight, so I ruffled Derek's hair.

"Sorry kid I'm twenty-three I'm too old, but I bet you'll find a pretty girl someday."

Anne smiled.

"This is my older daughter Karina, and my husband Donovan."

Karina was very beautiful her hair was a deep shiny red and she had beautiful cheekbones, so long story short she was way more beautiful than me.

Her husband was very handsome, but I already loved someone else... I think.

"I am Kathryn, and this is The Doctor."

"Doctor? Doctor who?"

I smiled.

"Just Doctor."

Donovan looked over at the Doctor.

"Could I talk to you for a minute?"

The Doctor nodded and he followed him into the building next to the camp.

"Kathryn, do you think you and Karina can go find crops for dinner tonight?"

I nodded and I followed Karina.

I was picking a grape bush when she said.

"Is he your boyfriend?"

I smiled.

"No...yes?...It's complicated."

She giggled.

"It's funny you really don't find very many English people here."

She sighed

"I used to have a boyfriend before this started a couple months ago. I loved him so much, and he loved me...He was going to propose when I turned twenty last week,b-b-but h-h-he."

I grabbed her shoulders.

"It's okay just calm down. You're so beautiful, and beautiful people should never cry."

I hugged her, and she said.

"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever met."

I sighed.

I grabbed the grape vine and we headed back.

We walked into the building and we saw everyone huddled together.

I sat next to The Doctor, and Katrina sat next me and started to braid my hair.

I giggled.

"Hold still!"

When she finished she placed a golden flower in my hair.

"Awe you look so pretty."

The Doctor looked at me.

"Quite right too."

He said his ears turning a bright red.

We heard a gunshot in the distance.

Donovan stood up.

"Bandits."
