-10- I never knew
"How did you get here?"
The Doctor asked.
I shook my head.
"I built a makeshift teleporter, wasn't very hard."
The Doctor smiled.
"You're amazing Miss Colburn."
"Yeah yeah I know, now I'm sending this ship into the void, so we better skedaddle."
I ran down the hallway, and dodge the daleks as fast as I could.
"Doctor!"
I run into the reception room, and see River hunched over her broken teleporter.
"Come on!"
I grab River and The Doctor's shoulders and we evaporate and return to 1888. We appear in Vincent's house and Vincent just sits there in his chair.
"I'm going to fix my teleporter."
River scampers over to the TARDIS and walks inside. Vincent stands up and hands me a painting.
"What's this?"
Vincent smiles, as I look at the painting. It was a painting of The Doctor and I.
"Doctor look at this."
The Doctor looks over my shoulder and smiles.
"Did you paint this while we were gone?"
He nods.
"Thank you, and Vincent please take care."
Vincent waves goodbye as we enter the TARDIS, and I set the painting on the chair.
"Doctor, Vincent told me about the art museum you took him to. We need to go there now."
The Doctor nodded, and started flicking switches. When the TARDIS landed I walked into the museum and walked up to one of the employees, The Doctor following closely behind.
"Excuse me, but can you tell me this history of this painting... here?"
I walked over to Vincent's portrait of me, and the employee trailed behind me.
"Yes, this painting was painted portrait of a woman that is unidentified. There is a myth behind this painting, it's told to be that this woman was very important, and there is a message for her behind this painting. That only the woman can see"
I took a breath.
"Ma'am that girl is me."
The woman looked at me, then the painting.
"Dear God! Who are you?"
"I'm Kathryn Colburn, and I need to see what this message says."
The lady nodded, and I took the painting off the hook and carefully flipped it backwards. The color drained from my face as I read the three inked words. I placed the painting back on the hook, and started to leave.
"Miss Colburn are you alright?"
I start running outside, and into the TARDIS.
"Kathy! What's wrong!?!"
The Doctor grabs my shoulders and spins me around.
"Tell me what's wrong."
I gulp.
"I-I'm..."
I look down, and he lifts my chin so I have to look at him.
"Tell me."
I sigh.
"I don't know if you'll like this or not, but I'm...a Timelord."
He freezes up and I can feel a tear fall down my face.
"I'm sorry I didn't know I-"
He kisses me in surprise, and I kiss him back. He pulls back a stupid grin on his face.
"That's great!"
He hugs me and I hug him back, and I feel him nuzzle his head into the crook of my neck, tickling it with his stray wisps of hair.
"I guess your right."
Sorry this was a bit short than usual, but for the sake of the story I had to leave it off there.
