I was taking a little walk around the fields when I heard screams and a bright light.

I ran into my house and saw both of my parents dead on the floor smoke billowing out of their lifeless bodies. I saw two metal creatures with eyes stalks staring at me I backed into a corner hoping they would leave me.

Please someone save me

I heard a whirring sound coming from outside.

"Six year old female goes by the name of Kathryn Colburn...Dalek Kwo, would you like to do the honors?"

"EX-EX-EXTERMINA!-"

All of a sudden the creatures or "Daleks" were silent. I opened my eyes, and heard a voice.

"Kid you better hold on to something."

I obeyed and grabbed onto the window sill.

I watched as Daleks where sucked into the dark black void.

This man was magic.

After the portal shut I looked at the man more closely.

He had dark brown hair parted to the side, with dark chocolate brown eyes. He had really high cheekbones wow.

He wore a brown coat with a white dress shirt, a bow tie, and red suspenders.

"Who are you?" I asked.

He looked at me.

"I'm the Doctor. Who are you exactly?" he smiled.

"I'm Kathryn Colburn."

"I love that name."

I smiled but then my eyes gazed over to my parents.

I walked over to my dead parents, and his smile turned into frown. He walked over to me and leaned over, and kissed my forehead.

"I'm sorry Kathryn, I couldn't save them."

I threw my arms around his waist and hugged him. Tears sprouted from my eyes as he hugged me back.

He put his hands on my shoulders.

"Kathryn, I have to go, but I promise I will come back every year okay? Also call your aunt she has to take care of you. "

I watch him go into his police box and go away.
