We haven't even really started our date and I'd already scared him half to death. I didn't even think about his anxiety when I drove him into the middle of the woods. We hardly know each other and he was right to think I could have been dangerous. But it really hurt me, that he thought I could ever hurt him in any way.

I inhaled and tried to clear my head. I could fix this. I could make this the best date he's ever been on. I grabbed the picnic basket from the trunk of the Impala then returned to Cas's side. Our fingers laced together and he smiled at me. God he was so cute.

We set off into the woods heading north. We walked hand in hand for about five minutes before we stumbled into the clearing. I had a buddy who came and set up some picnic stuff a few hours ago. There was a small table with a floral tablecloth over it and a few blankets piled up on the bench. He had strung some fairy lights in the lower hanging trees. Off to the left was a waterfall that spilled into a small pond. The rest was green grass and trees. It was really perfect.

I squeezed Cas's hand and the corners of my mouth turned upwards. I pulled him over the table and set down the picnic basket that was on my left arm. I dug through it until I found the two swim suits I had stashed in the bottom. I whipped them out and threw one to him.

"Get changed, we're going swimming." He laughed and we both turned away from each other and changed into the swim trunks.

Finally we both turned around and ran to the edge of the water. "Jump on three?" He asked with a cute head tilt. I nodded and he grabbed my hand and started counting. On three I let go of his hand and shoved him into the water. I heard him splash then come up gasping a little. He looked up at me and I started laughing.

He shook his head. I could see him trying his best not to smile. "No fair!" He shouted to me as he began swimming towards the edge. "Help me out, the waters freezing." He shivered for effect.

I grasped his outstretched hand, then I realized my mistake. He yanked hand on my hand causing me to fall forwards. I belly-flopped into the water, which was freezing. I came up for air catching half a breath before Cas was jumping on top of me while giggling.

I couldn't help but smile as we both sank under the water. We came up laughing and holding each other close.

The light bounced off Cas's eyes perfectly, making them shine and glitter. I pulled him closer. One of his hands reaching up to move some of my wet hair off my forehead before settling around my neck. My hands found his hips and I rubbed small circles with my thumbs. Both of his arms were now loosely wrapped around my neck. He pulled me closer and leaned in. I met him halfway, and our lips finally connected.

The kiss wasn't at all what I expected, it was so much more. Our lips slid together like they were made for each other. And I guess in a way we were made for each other. I felt electricity coursing through my veins and sparks where his skin touched mine. I had never felt better in my entire life.

We pulled away after what felt like hours. We both sucked in a breath waiting for the other to say something. The silence was too much so I opened my mouth.

"That was..." we both started at the same time then stopped. I started laughing and he joined me soon after.

I leaned in close and kissed his cheek. "Amazing," I whispered into his ear. I pulled away and saw him trying to hide his blush.

He pecked me quickly on the lips before climbing out of the water. I followed him and we dried off and changed into warmer clothes.

We ended up building a fire in the clearing to keep warm as we ate our sandwiches and pie for dessert. Once it got dark we watched the stars while cuddled together under the blankets. Overall it was the best night of my life.

Okay, so it's been like almost a month and I'm sorry. I've been super busy with volleyball on the weekends and school is killing me. I also really lost inspiration for this story but I'm determined to finish it. So I think this was really it! I will post an epilogue hopefully by the end of the week! Vote, comment, share, etc...
