"Zoyaaaaaaa"

I looked up from my phone "Yes" my eyes widened at a very stressed looking Adi with a clump of hair in his hand

"This was in the shower, are you an animal, that your hair falls out" he huffed

"Uh, technically yes, but I have long hair and it happens sometimes" I shrugged

He rolled his eyes, "Also, when you use a towel, why do you leave it on the floor"

"Uh, to dry, why do I feel as if I am being interrogated" I stood up slowly "Its a towel, why so moody"

"The floor is wet, if you want to dry the damn towel, hang it up" he honestly looked like he had fire coming out of his ears

I let out a shrill giggle "Sorry, it's just, you're cute when you're mad"

"Zoya, now is not the time, also why does the bathroom smell so strongly of fruits, what are you using in there"

"My shower stuff all has fruity smells, you dont usually complain"

"I" he pointed to his chest "Smell like a woman everytime I walk in there, its so strong, can't you use normal soap like normal people"

"Babessssssss, nothing about me is normal don't joke, please, I will hang up the towel from now on and clean up my hair, but the bath products stay"

He nodded "Fine, im going to get changed" Adi shook his head as he walked away

I looked down, muttering under my breath "3, 2, 1"

"Zoyaaaaaaaa"

I shuffled across the floor "Yes"

"Why are there so many outfits on the bed"

"Well I asked you to help me decide what to wear, you didn't so I wanted it all in front of me to pick, being this beautiful doesnt come easily, gosh" I looked down at my nails

"Zoya, I am this close to making you sleep in a seperate room"

"Hey, that's just rude, you love sleeping with me, don't even deny it" I poked my tounge out but he didn't seem to find that funny

"No, not when your feet are cold and you use my legs to warm them up, how many times do I tell you to wear socks " he began to pick up the dresses

"But I dont like to, Adiiii" I pouted "Now what will I wear"

He held out a dress "Wear this"

"You didn't even concentrate, that's not fair"

"You look good in everything you wear, you're driving me crazy, just wear the damn dress"

"Aw, that's true, I do, don't I" I flicked my hair "Thank you" I grabbed the dress, kissing his cheek "Dont be mad at me please"

His shoulders slumped "Look, I love you but"

I screamed loudly making him jump back

"What the hell Zoya, my ears" he looked very distressed, but not as distressed as me, the man I love, loves me back, can I get a hell yeah!

"You just said you love me, im allowed to scream, oh my god you love me, you loooooove me" I clapped my hands making him smile "I love you too, you have no idea how many times I dreamt of this moment, but none of them were like this"

He frowned "It wasn't special enough"

"No, it was, it's normal, it's so us, I didnt need a fancy dinner for it to happen, I just needed you and me" I wrapped my arms around him, crushing the dresses between us till he threw them back on the bed, lifted me up and span me around

"I know one of your fears was that you weren't my type of woman, and you're not, instead you're the woman of my dreams and I love you so much" he kissed my forehead "If I have to cope with hair in the drain, wet towels on the floor, fruity smells and clothes on the bed to have you then its all worth it"

"Aw" I squeezed his cheeks "You're adorable, now go, I need to get changed please" I shooed him out of the room "Those puppy dog eyes won't work with me, go"

I placed both USB drives down "Both of these USB drives show how you took advantage of Adi and had a meeting to steal everything from him, you have two choices, a public apology for your recent actions or I show these to the police and yes, Adi's mum is willing to testify"

Aliyana gulped "Look, its not what it"

"What it looks like is you took advantage of a man who was unconscious, you ruined his life, don't tell me it's not what it looks like, pick Aliyana"

"Ill make a public apology"

"Great, your stage awaits, come on" I pulled her hand towards the stage "Can I have everyone's attention please, Aliyana has an announcement "

Aliyana tapped the microphone, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear she cleared her throat "I guess um, im here to apologise, a year and a half ago, I met up with Adi, I helped him get drunk, then took him to a bedroom, it was there that"

I felt Adi's body tighten, I turned to face him "Its okay, you have to understand that this isnt your fault, you deserve justice" I watched as he calmed when I took his hand

"I made it look like we slept together, I took off his shirt and kissed him a lot, I am aware that my actions were not acceptable, I had no right to take advantage of him, I also tried to take his business from him, due to a break up with him years ago I became bitter and bent on revenge, I cannot apologise enough and I hope that in time Adi will forgive me" she stepped back, then ran down the stairs

"Adi, hey look, it's over" I smiled "Im so proud of you"

A man wandered over, holding out his hand "I just wanted to say thank you for your strength today, my son went through a similar incident and no one would believe him, but I feel with such a respected man coming forward, maybe this will open the path to change, because men are victims too" his eyes were teary as Adi shook his hand

Adi turned to face me "Zoya, I don't know how to thank you, for once I feel like I dont have to hide who I am or what happened to me, I used to think that there was something wrong with me because I didnt think real men went through what I had"

"They do, you are a real man, and its over, now we can move forward" I kissed his cheek "I love you"

"Hey lovebirds" Noor shouted "Keep it in the"

"Don't you even" I warned "After what you said, don't criticise me"

Noor shook her head "Aapi, that was a week ago, please let it go, im sorry" she held her ears "I have something to make up for it though" she waved her hand

I looked up to see my Abbu and Ammi walking forward "Ammi, Abbu" I ran forward about to hug them, only to remember what happened before

"Beti, we are so sorry for how we reacted, you know today we saw Harshvardhan and he explained how everything happened all those years ago, he was never to blame and neither were either of his sons, I shouldn't have ousted you from the house or tried to force you to marry someone else, I was so busy trying to be angry at you that I forgot you had grown up into a beautiful, kind and smart young lady, one that always fights for right even if its against her own parents, this is late, but im so proud of you Zoya" my Abbu wrapped his arms around me

I pulled my Ammi forward "Come, I want you both to meet him"

Adi looked up "Hello" he put his hand out

My Abbu shook his head, hugging him instead "Thank you for sticking with my daughter when we were to blind to do so, if you'll have us, we really would like to organise meeting you again properly, with your family too"

Adi smiled "It would be an honour" he looked over at my Ammi "I see where Zoya gets her good looks from"

I rolled my eyes "Always the charmer"

I huffed, trying to tie up the dori at the back of my clothes

"May I help" Anjana asked

"Oh uh sure" I waited as she tied it then turned to face her

"I just wanted to say, I hope we can start again, I can't apologise enough for my actions towards you and your sister, and to know that you saved my son, that you made Aliyana confess and you made him stronger just shows how much I failed as a mother"

"No, you were a great mother, I mean Adi is a great man and he didn't get that from nowhere, a lot of that is thanks to your parenting, I really just want to move on from the past now, and I would love a fresh start with you" I smiled as she hugged me, then cupped my cheeks

"Both of my sons are lucky to have you and your sister, thank you" she kissed my head "Now come" she pulled me out of the room to the front room

Adi stood up, clearing his throat "Beautiful" he kissed my cheek, then suddenly he was on bended knee

Oh no, I was going to cry.

"Zoya, more so Ziddi Zoya, from the first moment I met you, I knew you were something special, I knew there was a light within you so bright I had never seen it elsewhere, when I bumped into you, your attitude drew me to you, so carefree and to the point it was intriguing"

I let out a laugh at the memory of spilling a drink all over him

"I knew I wanted to get to know you so formed a very elaborate plan to get you to work for me, that was the day my life got better, from your constant bickering with me, to your shyness to your everlasting support and weird nicknames, loving you was easy, in fact I think I realised I loved you when you called me bro"

"That's my Aapi" Noor cheered making me shake my head

"What im trying to say, is that time without you was torture, you drive me mad but in all the right ways and I never want a day where I wake up and you're not beside me, so Ziddi Zoya, will you marry me and become the Mrs Big Shot to my Mr Big Shot" he pulled out a ring box from his pocket and opened it

I allowed him to slip it on my finger, then nodded, he stood up, kissing me then laughed

"I made Zoya speechless, finally"

"Oh shh, don't ruin the moment" I snuggled into him, so happy as I looked around at everyone congratulating eachother

My Abbu and Harshvardhan hugged, shaking hands then hugged again, my Ammi and Anjana ran to the kitchen to make tea for everyone as they complimented eachother on how they raised their children and Noor and Arjun hugged tightly then smiled back at us

I rested my head back into his chest, holding his arms around my waist "We did it, we really got there in the end" I sighed happily

"And I couldn't be happier, I love you Zoya"

"And I love you Adi"

Sooo, I decided to just write a longer chapter rather than two separate ones, this story has been a joy to write, and im so sad to see it go. Thank you for all the love, I had a lot of fun writing this, and your comments really did make me laugh:)
