I pursed my lips, looking anywhere but at Adi, "The thing is, is um, its quite" I laughed shaking my head

His eyes were alight with concern "You're scaring me, is something wrong"

Yes of course I was aware that I was acting like this was more dramatic than necessary, but for me it really did feel lile the end of the world, you know those moments you have where you're so certain that you couldnt be anymore embarassed, well this was my moment. I had stage fright and the only person watching me was Adi, maybe he was the only one that mattered and maybe that was why it bothered me so much. I gritted my teeth "I am inesperien"

He leaned closer "You are what"

I stood up, making him fall back "Im inexperienced Adi, you know when you apply for a job and they ask what experience you have and then you lie, well I cant even do that, I have zero experience, when you kissed me in the lift, that was my first kiss, like ever" I looked back at him only to see a smile on his face

"Really Zoya, that's it, you had me so worried"

"And so you should be" why wasnt he worried? "Do I need to repeat myself, I haven't done anything that you have, and usually people have done so by my age, dont ask me what my age is its offensive"

"Zoya, I" he stopped and chuckled before carrying on when I glared at him "I already know your age Zoya its on your file, but that's not the point, im happy, I want to be your first everything, it doesnt make me judge you, there's no certain age" he shook his head

"But what if im no good at you know" I tipped my head from side to side hoping he would understand what I was saying without me actually having to say it

"Zoya, its not like im asking you to jump in bed right now, you'll learn, I dont know why you're so afraid, take me as your teacher"

I shook my head "No, no, you cant be the one to teach me, I get to nervous around you, ill just have to find someone else" Now, you all know me by now, I speak without thinking first and let me tell you, there was no thought behind what I had just said

"What do you mean, you're going to find someone else to teach you" he stepped closer "Because thats not how this works Zoya, you're with me now, no one else can see you, touch you or have you the way I do"

I looked up at him slowly, why was he so much more attractive when he was telling me what to do? "Technically, im not with you now" I stuttered

Adi pushed my chin up with his index finger, my eyes met his "Im sorry, what did you say"

"Well you announced to the media we were dating, but we went on one date, you haven't asked me out again so"

He smirked "So you want me to ask you out again"

"Nooo" I shook my head "I want you to ask me because you want to, not ask me because I want you to ask me"

His brows furrowed before nodding "I think I understand, you want me to want to ask you out, not just ask you out because you want me to"

"I have no idea what you just said to me, why are you speaking in riddles, its like that friends episode, they don't know that we know" I nodded

"The what, you know what never mind Zoya, im not even going to ask, I dont know how I managed to confuse you, when I said the same thing you did, but fine, will you go on a date with me"

I smiled "Id love to but"

"But" he repeated

"But, I dont know if youre asking me because I want you to ask me or youre asking because you want to ask me" I went to walk away only to hear him shout after me

"Is it not possible that I want to just take you out because we both want to go out on a date" he reasoned, clearly very confused

"Oh Adi" I turned back to face him "Who said I wanted to go out on a date with you" I laughed, the expression on his face was priceless

I cringed at my phone as it rung in my hand, I knew this was going to happen, best to get it over with "Abbu, hi how are you"

"Don't give me that Zoya, what is this on the news, you've been whisked away to Paris and you're now dating, the whole world found out before we did" I hear my Abbu reply back, tone full of disappointment

I sat down sighing "I know what this looks like Abbu, but remember we had a deal, if I found someone for myself before you found someone for me, I could be with who I liked, and now I have"

"Zoya, beti, you found someone to be in a relationship with only today, I have had a man waiting for you here for a week, you've really dissapointed me, I dont like that Aditya Hooda, I refuse to accept him"

"But Abbu please"

"No, we had a deal and I beat you to it, im sorry Zoya, but its time you get yourself home, a working world is not correct for you, its time to settle down"

"But why can't I do both, its 2018 Abbu, will you atleast"

"No" he interrupted me "Do not make me send you back to Pakistan to live with your daadi"

"You cant do that" I whined, "If you would just"

"Its him or us Zoya, youve already succeeded in filling Noor's head with things she shouldn't think, I was patient but no more" his voice was stern "I expect you back in two days, say your goodbyes" then he cut off

I looked up to see Adi frowning at me "Everything alright"

I nodded "Yep, peachy, excuse me I need some air"

"Ill just get my shoes"

"No, I want to be alone" I pushed past him, trying not to cry

"Are you sure you're okay"

I looked back up at him, unable to control myself I held him tightly to me, allowing myself to cry, and that was when I realised, that his arms had felt more like home than the house I grew up in, that it was here I felt safe and happy, and above all the scariest thing that I realised was that this wasnt just a crush anymore.

I loved Aditya Hooda, I had finally fallen in love.

Im sure we're all very happy that Zoya loves Adi, but now she has a choice to make, what do you think she will decide?
