Red's POV

I need to clear my head. My thoughts are getting a tiny bit out of hand but I don't want to tell anyone. It's been about a month since we got out of there and everything's finally calming down and going back to normal. Max and Barney are finally getting along, Adam hasn't been as distant, Jess is feeling a little better, and Barney and his brother are pretty much inseparable. None of us have seen Cory or Shelby as much as normal but when we do see them they're always together and smiling so I'm pretty sure they're fine! (Even if their smiles are creepy...)

I don't want to ruin that and make them all upset...

Honestly, I don't know where I'm going. I'm just walking around the forest. Walking, and thinking.

Maybe... maybe Jin's death was my fault... if I hadn't have tried to get help and instead ran there as fast as I could then maybe he'd still be alive...

Before I can stop myself I start shaking and crying, but I refuse to sob and attract anyone's attention. I'm not a crybaby, I'm strong! I'm the best! I'm YouTube sensation Redvacktor!

But what if I'm not all that? What if I'm not as great as I believe I am?

Gah! I need to stop doing this! Get yourself together Red! I continue walking and look around, trying to find something to do. Something, anything. I just want to keep myself busy so I don't think.

That's when I hear the second pair of footsteps.

Purple's POV

I'm watching and following him. In a couple minutes everyone will believe me! I won't be the crazy guy in town anymore! And most importantly, I'll have my little brother back! I can't help but smile but I stop myself almost instantly. People always say my smile is creepy because of my unusually sharp teeth. There was this one time where Magenta was out of town for a while and rumors started spreading that I had killed her! Can you believe it?! Of course the rumors stopped when Magenta came back, but still! That's stupid! All they knew was my smile was creepy, I wasn't very worried, and Magenta wasn't here and they started claiming I was a murderer! It's stupid!

Anyways, I keep following Red while wearing my magic goggles that let me see him. It's weird and I don't understand it much but I can't see him unless I wear these goggles. I'm so glad I'm in the shadows, I look stupid with these on... I don't mean everyone who wears goggles are stupid or look stupid! I'm the only one in this huge town who wears goggles and looks stupid in them. I stop walking when he stops walking. He starts shaking and silently crying for a bit which made me have to fight the urge to go hug him before walking again.

This time he's actually looking around and watching where he's going so I try to be extra silent when following him but right before he's about to step in my trap he stops and looks right at me. I quickly run forward and push him into the trap before he can run away. He yells out in surprise as the device I made creates a cage around him. "Ah hah! Got you!" I exclaimed, mentally patting myself on the back. I force a stern look onto my face, look at him, and ask, "Now explain this to me: why did you disappear when we were little and where did you go?" He just looks at me confused. "Red, you better answer me! Mom's still alive, I can still tell on you y'know!" He looks at me with a confused and surprised look. Huh, it's almost as if... as if he... "you... don't remember me... do you?" I ask, a bit crestfallen. He confirms this by shaking his head 'no'. I sigh and rub the back of my head while staring at my feet. What do I do now? I need answers!

"...Why do you look familiar...? Who are you...?" Now it's my turn to be surprised. I look at him and answer his questions. "My name is Purple... your older brother... don't you remember me?" "No, I don't remember anything before I woke up here." I'm a bit surprised by this. At first I thought he just didn't remember because he was pretty young when he disappeared, now I'm thinking it's amnesia. That doesn't explain why only I can see him though... I pull a remote out of my pocket and press a button to release him from the cage. I pick up my device, sigh sadly, and start to walk away. Then, I'm stopped by him hugging me. "Most of the others remembered their families and pasts... I didn't... but that doesn't mean I don't believe you!" He smiles at me and I smile back. I smile even more when he doesn't flinch or seem scared because of my smile and hug him back. "Sorry for uh... trying to trap you." "You're forgiven!"

Red's POV

"You're forgiven!" I tell him. We hug for a couple more seconds before we let go and sit down on a nearby tree stump. "So how did we even get separated?" I ask after a while of comfortable silence. Purple sighs before answering with "I... don't know... I just know when mom was pregnant with Pink and me and Magenta were put in charge of watching you, we heard you crying from a different room and went to check on you but you weren't there. We tried to find you but you weren't anywhere! It was like you disappeared into thin air! Dad was convinced you ran away and Mom thought someone kidnapped you..." "o-oh..." is all I can say. I think really hard about it and I can faintly remember something.

I remember seeing two figures talking and playing with something. I was annoyed but I don't know why so I hid underneath the thing they were sitting on. I heard a noise from the other room that sort of sounded like me and the two figures ran off. I crawl out from underneath the thing and another figure walks towards me. I smile and giggle as they pick me up, then everything goes black.

"Hey, you okay?" I feel purple tapping my shoulder to get my attention. "Yeah, I'm... fine..." I tell him. He doesn't look like he believe me so I tell him what I remembered and his eyes widened. "So you were kidnapped!" "I don't know, I don't think we should jump to conclusions just yet!" I try to tell him but he doesn't hear me because of his rant about what he'll do to the person that kidnapped me. I chuckle and roll my eyes. Atleast I found my brother! Well... if he is my brother!

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter because things are about to get a little bit crazy!

The final chapter is chapter 15 and it's coming up fast.

I've got one (maybe two) final plot twist(s) for you guys that I hope you'll like! Especially the guys/girls from a couple chapters ago that said they liked how I would throw in a plot twist whenever it seems like everything's figured out! 😁

I realized that some of you might not be happy about the ending I have planned or might still have questions about the story after that chapter so I have a question: Sequel or End it there?

I don't need your answer on this specific chapter or right now, just think it over for now! I'll post the final reader's decision after the final chapter and that's when we'll all decide what to do next!

Until then, I'm excited to see what you guys think will happen! (There was a little bit of foreshadowing for one of the next chapters, btw!)

And now I apologize if this story is bad or if there are many many more things I could've done to make it better but didn't do 😓
