Adventures,discovering new places never seen before,that uplifting feeling of discovery is every man's romance!

That's what I would've said if I wasn't lost starving and smelling like crap

I don't even know how I got lost,it's all because of that butterfly that distracted me,now I'm lost in this forest

Then to put the cherry on top I heard the sound of thunder as rain began to fall from the clouds

"well isn't that great"i said as I looked around for any kind of place I can hide to,and there doesn't seem to be any village or town nearby so I just hid in a cave nearby and sat there

'Now I have to think of where I should go now,there's also the army that is looking for me,and I have to somehow get money so I can eat'i was thinking to myself before my adventurer sense started tingling

'I don't know why but I want to head deeper in this cave'i thought to myself as I started walking through the dark cave with nothing but my instinct guiding me

After several minutes of walking,a dim light was glowing of the same glow of that of the moon so I started running until I finally saw what was before my eyes

And oh boy was it gorgeous

My eyes lit up as I started jumping around

"I KNEW IT!!I KNEW IT!!I'M THE BEST AT THIS!!"I shouted as i started running around the underground city

I saw all the ruined buildings with nothing there but rats,it really felt like an adventure

I didn't stop running around seeing all the different places until I reached what looked like a court but with a giant obelisk at the center,this entire place was filled with weapons like swords,axes and other things

There was also a pedestal that looked like as if it was holding a sword but there was nothing there

The obelisk had the drawing of a girl with black hair wearing a black dress and had black wings with the bases of them being only bones

I don't know what hit me then as I instinctively touched the basis of it

Then white glowing streaks appeared as the ground started shining as well

"Wow!!what is that?!"I asked as white and black streams which were intertwined pillars appeared from it and out of it came out a voice

"Who dares..."then it stopped as if it saw me

"Not another one!!"

"Huh?"

"You're seeking power aren't you"asked the voice

"Well,I won't say I'm not"i said as from the obelisk a child like figure appeared which kind of looked like a gnome

It stared at me for a good minute before it looked at me with disgust

"Not only are you loved by the great flow,never mind that ADORED by the great flow and you also have THAT shield

WHAT MORE COULD YOU POSSIBLY WANT?!humans are so greedy"asked me the child

I was just standing there as to what he meant

"What do you mean loved by the great flow?DOES IT MEAN THE GREAT FLOW WANTS TO KILL ME?!AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THESE THINGS?!AND WHAT IS THIS PLACE?!"

The child's gaze turned from one of anger to one of pity

"You don't know anything do you?"he asked  me as he took the size of a normal kid and sat on the ground

"Sit down and let me explain everything to you"he said

I sat down in front of him as he started to explain

"You must already know of the great flow right?"

"Yeah it's a circle of life,whenever a living being dies,it goes back to the great flow,why did you say I was adored by the great flow?"I asked

He looked at me for a while before shaking his head

"If you don't know it yet,then it means you have to look for answers on your own"he said

"Really?then what should I do?is this some kind of quest?"I asked excited as he smiled

"Yes,in each continent including the lost continent is an underground city like this,seek the guardians and they shall tell you the truth little by little,however you must be careful,fi you didn't realize it,when you touched the obelisk it caused quite the show,it must have gotten the attention of the goddesses"

"WHAT?!the goddesses?then what am I supposed to do now?"I asked him in a panic

"The way you are now the only thing you can use is your shield,but lucky you it's one of the most useful shields out there

Why don't you grab that battle axe over there?"he asked as he gestured to a giant iron battle axe

I looked at him as if he was an insane kid but he insisted

"How am I going to carry this thing?"I asked as I tried to lift it up

"Place it near your shield"he said

I followed his instructions and placed it near my shield,the next second the axe dissapeared

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!"I asked

"That's the ability of your shield,unlimited storage,you can stack as many weapons as you like in it,I don't have any mystical weapons left with me so you'll just have to use these regular ones"he said as I started to take all the weapons there is in here

"WOW!!THIS IS AN AWESOME START!!"I said

"Don't get too cocky now,those are normal iron weapons,against monsters or more valuable weapons they will break easily"he said

"A price yo pay then,but I want to ask you who are you?"I asked the kid

He smiled as he looked down

"I used to be a clerk of the old continent,I was chosen to find a person to bring our old world back to it's glory"he said

"Really?but you said there were other heroes who came here,why didn't tell them that?"

"Because they couldn't awaken me,but then one year,to be exact twenty eight years ago a certain event managed to wake me up from my slumber"he said

"Okay!!then I'll go find the other hidden cities!"

"Really?as easy as that?!I thought I needed to convince you more than that!"he said

"Hey I left my village so that I can explore the world and you're telling me that I can do that AND explore more dungeon like cities!?I say hell to they yeah!!"I said as I finished taking the weapons

He looked at me before chuckling

"I think I understand why you are adored by the great flow,furthermore-"he was cut off as the entire underground city started shaking as if there was an earthquake

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!"I asked

"SOMEONE IS BLOCKING THE ENTRANCE OF THE CASTLE!!IT CAN'T BE THE GODDESSES BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE SAME ENERGY!!I'LL GET YOU OUT RIGHT NOW SO HANG IN THERE!!"as he crossed his hands with each other as I started floating with a giant white magic circle below me

"WHAT ABOUT YOU?!"I asked

He smiled

"We will meet again on the battlefield trust me"he said as I then dissapeared from the underground castle

Outside of the cave a woman was responsible of the,disturbance for the underground city,as she was standing on a flying carpet

(That's the only one in the next many chapters so bear with it but I also feel like I'm crossing a line here,or just tell me if you want me to censor it more)

"I sealed the entry master but it seems the child escaped,what should we do?"she asked

A boy with white hair and a white royal attire just smiled

"Just let him be,there's nothing he can do,besides,the force of that jump must have expelled him to another continent,but enough of that It's getting pretty late and i haven't had fun with you since two days ago"he said with a cocky smile

The woman smiled a seductive smile

"As you wish~" as they left for a night with each other

I got teleported to some icy mountains and right off the bat I'm met with a giant dragon which had scales stronger than the weapons I have

"A GOOD START MY ASS!!"I said cursing my old self
