The doctors finally got Jessica's blood pressure under control. She was still uncomfortable because her face was in so much pain. Her swelling went down but she couldn't quite open her eye yet, she had lots of color to her face, and her nose was going to be in a splint for a few more weeks. She still had a lot of pain in her head from her concussion.

Jessica is still shaken up, but mostly nervous for the baby. Of course Sean is on Jessica's mind. Jessica is less angry and more heartbroken. For now, she needed to focus on resting and staying healthy for the baby.

Jessica and Sam agreed to tell Logan that Jessica fell on the ice and that's why her face was messed up. She didn't want him to be concerned. For Olivia, they told her the same. She didn't know that her brother was in jail. No one but Jessica's parents, and Sam know what's really going on and what happened.

"I'll take you right up to bed to rest. We need to kick this concussion in the ass. And we'll monitor your blood pressure every few hours. The doctors also said that I have to keep up with waking you up every hour to make sure that...."

"I'm still alive. Yeah."

"Just to make sure your brain is working." He smiles as he helps her out of the car.

"Liv and Logan aren't home?" She asks as Sam walks her in.

"Logan is at your sisters house for a play date and Olivia is at work." He says

As they make their way up to the bedroom Jessica notices how Sam has set up the room so Jessica was comfortable and wouldn't have to move a muscle. He had all of her medications laid out, the blood pressure reader, candles, new cozy blankets, and pillows.

"Oh wow." Jessica smiles

"When I came home yesterday I set everything up
For you to relax. You need to be relaxed for yourself and the baby." He says leaning down to kiss her and her belly.

"You'll hang out with me in here, right?" Jessica smiles

"Yes. I bought some movies! Our favorites!" He says

"You're so wonderful. But, Sam..."

"Yes baby." He says sitting next to her

"I can't get this off my mind." She cries

"I know... it will take time."

"No one is telling me where he is." Jessica pouts

Even Sam didn't know about Sean and Albert in Georgia. Danny just told him that he was out but didn't know where he went.

"He's out." Sam says softly

"Good. I couldn't press the charges. It would ruin his reputation. I already know that Colgate has kicked him out, I assume." She sniffles

"Baby, I love you, but it's hard to understand you sometimes." Sam jokes, trying to make her smile. Her voice was stuffy and quite.

"I have packing in my nose!" She pouts

"Well that comes out on Monday that goodness." Sam says

Jessica giggles and takes Sam's hands. "I love you... things are going to be hard for me... losing my son, it hurts and it's going to hurt."

"And I'll be by your side through all the cries and hardships."

"I know you will..."

"How could you be so clumsy and fall like you did! You banged up your whole face!" Olivia says taking a good look at her mom.

"Stop bullying me! I was being stupid and ran in the ice."  Jessica laughs

"But... did you see him?" Olivia asks

"No." Jessica says

It was so hard to lie to her daughter, but Jessica had to do it. She did it to protect Olivia from having more anger towards her brother.

"Wow... that sucks. He'll come around." Olivia kisses her mother on the cheek then heads for the door.

"Good night, mom."

"Good night sweetie."

The next morning Jessica came down for breakfast to be with the kids. Sam was upset that she got out of bed and was anxious for her to finish and go back upstairs to rest. He could see how tired Jessica was.

"Mommy, does it hurt still?"

"Yes, but I'll be okay."

"And baby sister?" Logan asks

"She's okay." Sam answers

"We got a lot of snow last night!"
Jessica says looking at the window trying to change the subject

"I know. It's crazy. I got called off of work. Thank goodness!" Olivia says

"Can we play in the snow?" Logan asks

"You, Olivia, and I are going to the slopes today! To go sled riding." Sam says

"Wait, really?" Logan asks

"Yeah!" Sam smiles

"What about you mom?" Olivia asks

"I'm going to rest. I need to rest to get rid of this head ache."

"Mommy is concussed." Logan giggles

Jessica rolls her eyes and giggles. "No more
Making fun of mommy, you goober." Jessica says

"Why don't you go take a bath and rest, honey." Sam says

"I think I'll do that. Have fun today guys." Jessica says kissing everyone

"Love you!"

Later that day-

Dorthy decided to stop over Jessica's and give her company while Sam and the kids were out for the day. Dorthy was also told to deliver some news, that Albert was sending Sean off to the army. She didn't know how Jessica would react, and she was scared to tell her. She was even debating not to tell her at all. She just wanted to see how the day went before she told Jessica anything.

"I brought you some more ice and ice cream. I heard you're on bed rest until your blood pressure is just right." Dorthy says laying down next to Jessica.

"I think she'll be okay... right?" Jessica asks

"Of course. As long as your keep yourself calm and relaxed."

"I started doing some world from home. I go back next week."

"You're going to work ?" Dorthy asks nervously

"Yes! I have to make money too. I love my job. Who cares if I have some black and blue patches. Everyone is over reacting. Really, I'm fine!" Jessica says trying to put on a brace face.

"How can you be fine, when your son hit you? Leaving these marks and breaking your nose!" Dorthy says with anger

"I know he did this. But I know that's not my
Son. Let's just drop it." Jessica says sternly

"Okay. I'm sorry. But you're acting like everything is okay."

"Everything has to be okay. I need to keep this baby inside me. I'm already high risk, now this blood pressure stuff makes it even more high risk. I'm
Just focusing on today. Letting the past go." Jessica says breathlessly.

"Well I'm proud of you."

"Sean is out. Where ever he is now is fine. He'll come around. My anger and pain towards him is shoved away somewhere else. I can't handle anymore stress."

Hearing all of this from Jessica made Dorthy's heart hurt. She didn't know if Sean would ever come around or show his face... Jessica knew that too. But she kept a brave face. She didn't want to show anymore pain. The holiday was ruined. It bad everyone upset. That's why this year is going to be a good year in Jessica's head.

Dorthy wanted to tell Jessica so bad that Al was with Sean for the next two weeks, getting ready to join the army. After what Jessica had just said, she couldn't.
