Flustered

It has been a few days since Olivia was released. Ever since then, no one has left her out of their sight. So much that Jessica sleeps on her floor every night. Right now, it's comforting for her and Jessica as well, knowing that she's alright.

Danny, Jessica and Sam have been collaborating trying to find the best doctors and keep Olivia stable.

She immediately went to out patient therapy at the hospital, when she wasn't there, the plan would be for her to either be in a support group or keeping her mind calm.

As a family, they came up with a care plan for her. Of course, she was still very down, but everyone was determined to get Olivia back.

For now, she wouldn't be attending school, but the next following week, when she is a little better and less stressed, a tutor will be coming to help her catch up and bring her grades up.

It would be a very long process, but all be worth it in the end.

It was an early morning, Jessica woke up with Logan and started on breakfast for the whole family.

Logan was so happy to have his whole family back. The days that Olivia was in the hospital was stressful for everyone. Thankfully things were going smoothly.

"Good morning! I'm shocked you're up so early!" Jessica smiles

"Aren't college kids up at ten, eleven?" Sam chuckles as he reads the paper

Logan sat next to his father "reading" the paper.

"Yeah Sean!" Logan says, trying to be like sam

Jessica couldn't help but chuckle.

"Today for breakfast we have bacon, eggs, and fruit!"Jessica smiles

"Great!" Sean says as he sits at the table

"So, Sean, when do you want us to book your flight back to school?"

Sean clears his throat and sits up. "About that.... I'm not going back."

When Sean said those words, everyone froze. Jessica was about to lose it.

"You're kidding, right?" She says turning off the stove and turning to Sean.

"I just can't finish this semester. I feel like I need to stay here. Besides, I'm really not into it. I don't know what I want to do."

Sam was just as shocked... but he didn't bud in when Jessica was about to drill into Sean.

"Are you crazy? You're going to one of the best schools! You were lucky to get into it! You can't just drop out because you're not into it! I pay good money to send you there. You're so smart, you belong at Colgate! I'm not letting to stay." Jessica raises her voice

"But it's my decision. I'm a big boy. I just want to take a gap year."

"Sean, gap years aren't smart. I took one and never went back. I don't want that to
Happen to you."

"But look how successful you are!"

"It took a lot of blood sweat and tears. I'll be working all my life, not retirement."

"Where do you suppose you'll live? What will you do?" Jessica says crossing her arms.

"I-i was hoping I could stay here. Work on the farm until I'm ready to go back?"

Jessica shakes her head. "No! If you're a big boy you can move out and find your own job! I won't coddle you Sean. I don't agree with you! I paid this whole year off just last month. Bought you all of your books! I refuse to let you take a gap year! No! No! No!"

"You're being unreasonable!" Sean snaps

"Sean.... you just can't."

"Fine. Then I'll go to school here." He says

"You won't get the same education that you need. You're too smart." Sam says

"I can't deal with this right now. Breakfast is ready. I'm going to go check on Olivia." Jessica says storming out

"Well that's bad!" Logan says

"Sam.... you understand?"

"If it's out of pure laziness I do.... but you don't have a good enough reason. Your mother and I have control of everything here.... you don't need to stay. Your sister, mother, brother, and I will be okay. You need to rethink this."

The following week-

After Jessica's falling out with Sean, the neither of them really spoke. When they did, they argued. She was so flustered and couldn't handle anymore stress. Everyone felt it, but she tried to hide it from Olivia.

"How about we go to the mall, today? We'll get back just in time for tutoring." Jessica smiles as her and Olivia put on their jackets. It was the first time Olivia agreed to leave the house.

"I don't want this tutor guy to come over!"  She whines

"Livy, you promised us that you'd make a change. Change being, bringing up your grades. You have to do this. Luckily your teachers are giving you a fresh start to the second nine weeks." Jessica says

"Fine." She groans

"Come on! It will be sooo much fun! Mommy and Livy time!" Jessica chuckles

"That saying is so old." Olivia chuckles

"Oh but you know you love it!"

"Do we have to go to the mall?" Olivia asks

"Shopping spree!" Jessica chuckles

She was so excited. She really just wanted Olivia out of her room, in public again. She knew a little pamper day is all she needed to brighten her up for a little bit.

Later on in the day, Jessica and Olivia arrived home. Luckily, Olivia was in good spirits. But by time they got home she was a bit exhausted. She had such low energy that today really took a lot out of her.

They arrived just in time to meet the tutor. Jessica Gave them the office to work. It would be quite and Olivia would be able to focus.

Jessica spent some time with Sam and Logan, then made them lunch.

The three of them sat in the kitchen eating their sandwiches. Sean had disappeared for the day.

"This is yummy yummy yummy!" Logan smiles

"Oh, baby, you have some mayonnaise on your cheekies!" Jessica smiles as she wipes it off

"Logan, you're a big eater!" Sam says

"Another thing you too have in common." Jessica chuckles

"Yeah, daddy! We are so similar." He smiles

"But Mommy is your favorite?" Jessica says with a grin.

"No!" Logan shakes his head

"What!" Jessica says with fake devastation.

"Wait, listen." Sam says

"Daddy is my buddy and mommy is my lovey! I love you both!" He says

"Awww, sweetie! I can't get over you and how cute you are!" She says giving him a hug

"Logan, you wanna help daddy pick some pumpkins for the market?" Sam says

"Yes! Can I keep one to carve?"

"Of course!"

"Oh Logan, we have to get you a costume! What do you want to be?" Jessica asks

"A farmer!"

"Oh god." Jessica shakes her head

"That a boy!" Sam says

Once lunch was over Sam and Logan got ready to go out into the fields.

In the meantime Jessica cleaned up. As she was washing the dishes she looked out side and saw all of the men who worked for Sam getting in the trucks and tractors to do work and go help with pumpkins.

Suddenly, she sees a familiar car pull in. She stops and stares.

She sees Cody and his father both step out of the pick up truck and head to the barn. Jessica quickly calls over Sam.

"Sam! Come here please, alone!" She says

Sam runs into the kitchen. "What's going on, sweetie?"

"What the hell is cody doing here!" She whispers harshly

"Cody is here? I thought just his dad was on the schedule, not him. Jessica I'm so sorry."

"Sam, you need to go out there and tell him to go home! I don't want him hanging around!"

"Of course, of course...."

"I'm serious. I know you're a softy, but I can't have him around."

"I understand, but his father might not."

"Then tell him what the hell his son did to our daughter!"
