The Hero Licensing Exam
Ayano had gone off on her own cause she thought she smelt smoke. She was aware that this wasn't real, that it was like a simulation that she had gone through during her training in Russia.
But she had put herself into the mindset of acting as if it was real. If she was going to get her license, she needed to proceed as if this was a real disaster. That these were real victims and to do her best to help them.
By now, Class 1A had discovered just how seriously she took these types of exams. How she had put her mindset into the situation as if it was actually happening.
She had been running to where she smelt the burning, since if it was real, it could mean the difference between life or death for that person. She went down shortcuts and she saw that there was a fire on the top floor of the building, and she figured that on the inside of the burning building, that all the ways up to where the civilian was would be burnt already and he was trapped. Otherwise he would have gotten out by now.
That said, Ayano was aware that she had to act fast, so when she approached the building, she used a gadget to shoot something onto the wall and she ran up the wall hooked to something similar that rock climbers would use and when she got to the top window before she used an arrow to break it.
She had other things that she could have used to climb up the side of the wall, but she had decided that it would take too long to do it that way, so she just used her grappling hook thing.
When the window broke, she went in there and she noticed that the victim was taking mental notes on her performance, so to speak. With this she determined that the victims were the ones keeping score. Nonetheless, she acted as if it was a real situation.
"Are you alright?" She asked and she had uncovered her nose and mouth so he could hear her properly. She could take some smoke. She was more worried about getting this victim out of there.
"I don't think that I have any injuries." He replied and Aya had to admit, he had good acting skills. And the "victim" was taking note of how serious she took this.
Ayano coughed some and she looked down before she quickly calculated how she would be able to get him out of there. "Okay, I'm going to have to put you on my back, and we have to climb down, alright?" She told him with dust on her face.
"But, I'm scared." He said trying to see how she would respond to a victim being scared. She didn't seem like she'd be the best at comforting someone, but he still wanted to know what she would do.
"It's good to be scared. It means you still have something to lose." Ayano told him calmly and with as much comfort as she could. She was still not familiar with emotions, so she didn't know how comforting she was.
The guy was honestly shocked. She seemed to sincerely mean what she was saying. He then nodded and got on her back as Ayano hooked herself back to the rope and she went down as one would down a rock wall. "Do you ever get scared?"
Ayano was honestly taken aback by the question and she then nodded her head softly. "Honestly? All the time." She told the "victim" once the hit the ground and she left her gear after unfastening herself and getting the victim somewhere safe to check for injuries.
(I must say, that this would give Mr. Aizawa to be proud of his student if I don't say so myself)
